Im pretty sure you need to have the auto optimize number at 618 to give you a max stake reward of 16.18, which is the current system maximum stake reward .Correct ?

As soon you will do it it will work like a charm.

I started my wallet 3 hours ago and its still syncing is this normal? blocks remaining keep going down but it's so slow. Btw, is staking working now?

Syncing can take a while. Staking has always worked if you have the correct wallet. I have had xqn since the start and not missed a single stake Smiley
thanks, synced and coins are there in 1 address. When I pull up the staking explorer it shows staking as disabled, is there something I need to do or will it be enabled on it's own?
Is your wallet unlocked ? In the settings tab. Says unlock for staking only when you enter a passphrase
I set a passphrase and unlocked the wallet, the staking explorer still shows staking disabled. when I scroll over the little round thing at the bottom it says 'not staking because you don't have mature coins'
shouldn't staking still show as enabled? or will that change when my coins become mature?
That will change. Coins aren't matured and therefore staking. Don't worry this coin works perfectly give it some time Smiley

Do you or anyone else know how long it takes for coins to mature? still getting same message.
do you use mac? I have unofficial mac wallet  that stakes compiled from latest src but without auto optimazer, i can upload if you need or someone else
Trader19,
How did you get your Mac wallet to stake? None of my blocks are accepted when staking on my Mac.
I get the following ...
Status: conflicted
Date: 2/23/15 08:07
Source: Generated
Debit: 0.00 XQN
Net amount: -9999.98 XQN
Transaction ID: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Generated coins must mature 510 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.

Thanks for the help everyone. My coins are now staking, first it said expected time for reward is 7 days, but every hour or so it goes down a day now it's 4 days - just gonna wait and see what I get.

Does the POS interest ever slow down at some point or does it just go on forever at that percentage rate?

The effective PoS rate is already limited, since most times (if not always), people are hitting capped rewards (the max stake of 16.18). What this means is that the effective stake percentage reached by the network, will most times be much less than 1618%. With every day that goes by, the amount of new coins generated, is actually a smaller and smaller percentage of the total emission, due to this precise cap.

hi, i have unofficial mac wallet build from src that stakes. the old mac client is set for old stake award 618 xqn but since joe capped the max award to 16.18 xqn it doesn't stake anymore without update!/ old client finds only orphans/! this newer client that i have stakes properly but it doesn't have block size auto optimizer so you will need to split your blocks manually.

Apart from some visual artifacts from resizing to a smaller screen (which I hear will be fixed at some point), it should work just fine. I haven't tried this one myself, but I know that people using the one for Sapience/XAI, were able to stake without any issues. The only trouble I'd anticipate, is that given the high difficulty on XQN staking, you might need to have the wallet open/staking at all times (for better stake chances), and I can only guess that doing so might drain your battery pretty quick.

well i dont actually use my android phone so i can leave it charging while staking. how can i back my wallet if it is in an android phone?

@whoever can answer what is the purpose of xqn and xai? is it xqn powering xai or vice versa? is it xqn funding xai or vice versa. it isnt clear on what ive read or im just dumb haha. thinking buying xai cause it is related to xqn but im thinking if xqn is a better buy than xai because of high stake rewards

I just installed the android wallet and waiting for the "synchronizing with network" to finish before transferring some coins to it.

Like I said, it has some visual artifacts. This is not some "rush job", it is the full desktop wallet, but compiled for Android. It is not a wallet specifically built for mobile devices or touch interfaces at this point.
