Antpool use LIGHTNING NETWORK?

Not sure that makes sense.  Lightening is for off-chain transactions... and besides, Lightening isn't really production yet.

Mined for a living since 2017.  Dabbled for years before that.
Linux admin since 0.96 kernel and Slackware distributions on (4) floppies...
Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Lightening is when the baby's head engages during pregnancy usually around the 36th week of gestation.

The lightning network on the other hand is in production, heavily in use already and has thousands of nodes. You are confusing minimal app support for it with its production ready status.

As for this pool, it has absolutely nothing to do with the lightning network.

Last time I checked, almost all my miners were up and running. Now I get 0.0TH. What the fudgepop is going on here? Both control miners (another pool) are mining happily.
And how many GHs/THs are you pointing here?

Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help me.

I have several antminers s9, they have been working fine, but about two weeks ago, when I check my account in ANTPOOL 3 of the miners were hashing 1TH/s to 3TH/s. When I check my miners backstage all was ok, the hashrate (both RT and avg) was 13TH/s.

I tried to reboot and factory reset the miners, update the firmware, I changed the miners to another ANTPOOL account, and opened a ticket with ANTPOOL support (which didn't help at all).

I tried to change the miners to F2pool, where 1 of them briefly mined about 13TH/s for about a day, and then all of them were back to mining 1TH/s to 3TH/s.

I have other miners in the same place, and only these 3 are giving me trouble.

Here are some screenshots of my miner status page and whats it was reporting on antpool at the same time.

Does anybody have any idea of what it could be?  Huh Huh

Just go onto BTC.COM its quite bomb proof.. see some proper stats.. from what i see you are getting a high DiffA % people say its nothing.. which it is not.. but i still like to see my S9'S at max 5%  its from network instability

If you bought your miners directly from Bitmain, suggest trying another pool like Slushpool or my favorite: Kano.is.

If you bought from a 3rd party, it sounds like your systems have been hacked.  Did you confirm the new firmware actually took?

Is there anyway to know if my system is hacked?

My miners sometimes cease to appear on the panel in my account. It helps only reboot the miner on power. Is this a pool problem or an error on my asics?

Hello everyone, I' am pretty new to all of this and am definitely trying to learn at the best of my abilities. I have some questions and hope that someone can help assist me with regarding AntPool:

1) If I have a hypothetical hash rate of say 4.05 PH/s, how do I calculate the amount of BTC and the transactions fee I will receive?

I checked the AntPool website “AntPool Payment Method and Fees”, and they have the below formula, but I’am a bit confused…

PPS+Block Reward (4%Tx Fee2%)
Earnings = 12.5 BTC * Share Count of 1 Difficulty / Current Network Difficulty + Tx Fee PPLNS

So will the calculations go as follows (August 23 difficulty + hashrate of 4.05 PH/s)

PPS+ Amount: 0.16090651
Transaction Fee: 0.00125503
So technically I’ll be earning: 0.16216154

Is this correct? Can someone kindly explain to how I will be accurately calculate how much BTC I will receive if I join the AntPool with a certain hashrate?

2) It seems as though I read here that people are not recommending others to use AntPool. Alternatives include SlushPool, but why is this? AntPool is one of the largest pools. What are  the advantages and/or disadvantage for  using it? Will it make a difference if say you’re a smaller operations v.s. a larger operation?

Any help would help and be very much appreciated. Thank you kindly.

Ah, read Why all miners should use a pool that pays Tx fees at the top of this section. Should explain it pretty well.
I prefer Kanopool at kano.is -- lower fee than Slush and definitely lower fees than Antpool.

Can anyone help with my question above?

I've been searching and doing the calculations but don't seem to be able to get the right numbers.

Also, is it impossible to get accurately calculate a number of your earnings because the factor of chance involved in solving blocks?

I think it answers my 2nd question above; however, I dont seem to understand where it helps me with the calculations of my earnings.

But for the 2nd question I' m under the impression that transactions fees are being paid by AntPool under the PPS part.

If you are mining under AntPool's PPS system, they are taking a 4% commission as well as a 2% "tx fee".

I'd advise you to switch pools. ckpool is offering 0% fee splns and kano.is has 0.9% fee pplns. Both pools include transaction fees in the miner reward.

Ignore scammers on Skype, Telegram, etc. I will only ever contact you via forum PMs. See profile for fingerprint.

Does this connection example still apply as an option today for connecting to Antpool if tried from a basic command line miner?

Looks like they have been having issues with properly recording and paying out for the BTC pool.
https://www.antpool.com/announcementDetail.htm?id=94
Payouts have been around 50% lower than what they should be past several days at least for PPLNS
