I messaged 3 people who claims to charge no fee (Sebastian is one of them). But I got no response back so far.

Also how do you get "trusted" trust in your profile? who can give that and how?

Bitcointalk Escrows

It seems as if there is no thread with a clear list of all the active escrows on bitcointalk that is regularly updated with relevant information.

Only members with announcements threads will be listed in their suitable category.

Have a suggestion or update? PM me or post here!

Some tips:
- The escrows in the follow list are to be used carefully.
- Always do your own research before trusting any escrow.
- The 'BIG 3' will be the most trustworthy, but at all times ensure you are talking to the right person and if possible, verify their PGP signature.

Very simple to avoid scammers.

We are living in the digital era and there's no assurance that you can trade safely with a random guy unless he has a pretty history of trade. And in real world, there's also escrow services from the banks.

People may no longer need escrow services once atomic swaps is live but that's only valid for trading between coins. If you're trading something else however, I don't see how smart contracts would be implemented. (e.g physical goods)

Even with smart contracts, escrow can prove useful or provide a positive experience.

While I've had a few recent private sale of physical goods (hardware and stuff), I've had a few that were new coins (ICO, and airdrops or free) and I was not really needed, but they made me hold onto the premine anyway. It helped a little bit with both investor and just buyer confidence.

How is the escrow fees calculated between two coins ?
The"x%" fees will make the transaction amount go into weird decimals if it is deducted from both the coins.

This is very helpful for us. By using our trade escrow services we are safe. This can be a mutually beneficial payment method in trading transactions

hello are these up to date

I do not believe this list is current as it was last updated in 2016, but I am still offering my services with a lower than listed minimum.

You as escrow? No one will be interested and you will end up being tagged by DT here. Being an escrow is not just an account where you're going to sign in or whatsoever, its a matter of trust. If you can't be trusted by anyone then it's no use.
Better to build your trust first.

Nope, it's not that easy as telling us that you want to propose with your offered escrow service. No need for any signing up.

Better to build your trust first.
Follow this suggestion, build your reputation first and you're still far from that. Besides, there's a lot of escrow already that offers this kind of service. You are not even close to the standards of becoming an escrow, sorry to say that vinny.

You should at least update the OP since some of the escrow are not active anymore (Monbux, Tomatocage, lyth0s) being busy to their personal life or something.

Ok will do.

Haha not busy - probably they're enjoying retirement.

So two of the big 3 are "gone" ... The rest are still around.

As for retirement, depends on if they cashed out what they needed at the top, or if they're still hodling through the crypto winter.
