With the 18k btc drop failing to do anything to the price we are clearly in a situation where very few Bitcoin holders are capable of "turning the tide" even if they wanted to. The masses and clearly some big players are on the move to buy, and it needs big, trend changing events, to truly turn the tide. We're still going up.

I think we'll definitely see $40 soon.

Toilet tissues? Toilet tissues have more intrinsic value, you can't wipe your ass with greenbacks. Grin

the sheer volume of coins traded around $30+ makes me think we're in a strong position, 25k btc were bought in one go to take us from $30.80 - $33, smashing through the ATH. Shortly after about 12.5k coins were sold off, eating two huge (6k+4.8k) walls, taking us down a bit but we very quickly recovered. The very next day another dump of about 15k coins barely registered and we find ourselves at the end of the week hanging around $34.50.

The volume of coins traded in the last week must be huge, and then you look at the exchange and see that if someone was to sell off 50k btc in one go right now we would only drop to $30. There must be $5m+ traded over the last 7 days and all at $28 or above.

Well about 14k in walls just went up capping off at 34.80. So that person wants more cheap coins. Someone else flashed a $50k cash bid. There is going to be a fight for the cheaper coins in a few hours.

I expect no weekend drop.

My totally unsubstantiated theory: We're going to start seeing more "normal" trading with an upward trend.  The days of one or a handful of people completely messing up the price for weeks at a time are over.  Anyone trying to "play the game" like they did in 2012 are going to find themselves ineffective and at a loss of both USD and BTC.  I do believe that the potential of bitcoin still hasn't been discovered by 99% of the world and, as they begin to adopt it, this will increase demand.

Maybe a weekend dip, maybe not. I'm toats not expecting any weekend crash though.

UPDATE: Someone is trying to make me look da foo'!
