You're not doing it rite. Just put in a sell order at 31.90991 for a unique small identifiable amount and wait.

Who put there the stupid wall??? Smiley

Remove it!!! Smiley

lol no, i have a bet to win....

Having defied the odds so far!

That wall is unusually large and steep though, I wonder if this is due to people who for some reason want to sell at the 2011 high.
They need alot of money. They will buy at $200 :-)

Ha, Ha, Adam just might win this bet because of the legacy of Julius Caesar!

(It was because of him that two days were taken from February to make July, and then August longer...)

Couple of players are trying hard at suppressing the rally I think.
Media will cry bubble if we climb from $13 to over the high in a couple weeks... so take a pause @ 29-30ish for a bit before breaking it, show some "stability"

:p

not too bad of an idea when you think about it.

Given the continued thinness off the bid walls throughout this rally, that implies the same players are also propping the price up as it suits them.

Or propping it down... any time it gets past 31.40 or so.

i only see suppression to keep the price down if at all

the bids are just regular buyers/ day traders. and some of the sells should be too

I have pondered this also. Clearly the moment it gets past 31.30, someone or some people start hard with the walls. One could say that is just natural given the final resistance, but the deliberate nature of instant walls pushing the price down, rather then letting it rise to get a better price makes me think someone has a plan. While annoying to watch, it has seemed to have happened multiple times during this uptrend, so they may be benevolent, haha.

The recent price increase definitely helped getting Bitcoin on the radar of many new people and businesses but 20% gain per week is not sustainable for very long. Some stability now would no doubt be good for Bitcoin.

30/5=6, yes. 1.2^50=9100 not 6. How can I accept this poor performance of 6!!1!!???

But it was only 11 months.  1.2^11 = 7.43008370688  Still 6 is horrible.

 Roll Eyes

wow, you guys really are crazy... you actually believe we'll see 600% increase in price year after year?

can't you see that speculation will drive up the price very high all at once, and then profit taking period will produce a down trend...

Ad infinitum, yes please!

can't you see that speculation will drive up the price very high all at once, and then profit taking period will produce a down trend...

That is, unfortunately, probable.

Won't be happy unless I see 1000% increase every month.  Only $300,000,000,000  bitcoin at the end of the year will make me happy.

Yes, but we've had 20% per week lately, not per month.
