how many total coins supply is it 200m?

1B at launch 500M per year forever. So since RibbitRewards are part of a Rewards Program we decided to do it this way.

Ok so can you please confirm if it is 200 Million free airdrop, 200 Million paid airdrop and that is it or is it the amount quoted above? All the news articles I read suggest the former?

You bet your Frogs we can confirm.
It is 200 million for both.
200M Free Airdrop + 200M Paid Airdrop = 400 Million reasons to sign up now.

There will be other "mined" RibbitRewards in the future via POT (proof of transaction - buyers, sellers, merchants, *charity) , POW, and there in is the reason why it is not a 1 time distribution of all coins in existence.

Most/All other blockchain assets reward hoarding which drives the value up > whereas RibbitRewards..."rewards" transactions and action.
Via transactions and action RibbitRewards become more attractive.

The goal is for the rest of the world to use the blockchain without forcing them to change anything. They use them because they don't have to do anything different when they buy things, they just know they are getting value for their transaction.
The genesis block will produce 1 Billion.

This coin needs a little more promotion, but not only from dev but also from other that are participating in airdrop. It would be nice if someone whos english is better could write and publish some articles about ribbit and our mission would be to share and retweet them and promote this great coin.

Free airdrop ended on 28.12.2014. So what will happen in future? Another abandoned project or just calm before the storm?

An Important Message from Sean Dennis, Ribbit.me CEO
Hi everyone,
Thanks so much for participating in the Ribbit.me Airdrop! It has been a huge success, and it has really gotten the word out there about us and put RibbitRewards in the hands of thousands of people!

The Airdrop has recently finished and we’re just getting ready to assign the allocation to all of you – We’re getting organized with the exchanges and looking to send out your RibbitRewards to you in early January to kick off 2015 with a bang!

Really looking forward to a great year with all of you, and thank you so much for believing in us, we are going to make history here and we’re working really hard for all of you to help take Blockchain technology to everyone!
Yours,

Sean CEO Ribbit.me

These RibbitRewards looks weird. And why is this coin already on exchange, when nothing has happened yet?

To me it looks just another idea that isnt even clear what it is supposed to do to make a better life for people. I mean i read about it, but its not solving any problems. And even if it did you would have to build a whole infrastructure to become valuable for users. But thats just my opinion, i might be wrong.

Or maybe i am missing something. But if this is meant for the mainstream, you will have to put your focus on simplicity in showing users an added value. I just dont see nothing interesting especially for an average Joe.

This is a good one, great team and very focused on bringing cryptos mainstream. This is sort of like credit card rewards, and they are funding some solid stuff. Likely worth getting some cheap and then waiting for the rest to be built.

What are RibbitRewards™?
RibbitRewards is the world’s first rewards program supported by block chain technology. Buyers and sellers transacting in goods and services or giving charitable donations in any currency earn RibbitRewards. No matter what currency you are transacting in, the more you buy, sell, or donate on Marketplace.Life or other participating merchant sites, the more RibbitRewards you can earn.

As if that were not cool enough, there is more! RibbitRewards are also the world’s first digital rewards backed up by their own marketplace, Marketplace.Life. You can always have the peace of mind knowing that the RibbitRewards you earn and save can be used to buy and sell cool things or support a cause you believe in.

The RibbitRewards development team believes in empowering individuals to enable positive social change in the world. Five percent of all RibbitRewards ever created will go to charity. Members of the community vote on which charities receive them. Everyone with a passport has an equal voice.

Hello Sean,

Nice to see this project and it's relationship to charity.  I've spent quite a bit of time in Nicaragua... spent a couple months exploring and surfing breaks up and down the coast there. I miss some of my good friends there in San Juan del Sur... I hear the town is very different than in 2006 when I was there.

I am glad you guys chose Swisscex to launch the coin at, as this is a solid exchange with low volume and could use some love.
