According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Anyone want to help me fill in the gaps with this project?

Where can we hear from the developer? seems dead here, Twitter isn't much good either to understand where they are at in development...I can see a lot of reaching out to real world and marketing though which is good.

Is the plan for them to build many reward projects for different companies or will they all use the Ribbet reward tokens?...this is an essential question.

The rebranding is excellent, the name Ribbet needs to be updated with a completely new OP I think IF the ribbet rewards are now going to be used in the Loyyal project.

I'm not sure if this is garbage or one of the best hidden secrets on this forum...if down right the potential is massive, even more than Bitcoin circulation currently. Some of the big name companies getting involved would mean more wallets than Bitcoin possibly. Can anyone help me decide why this will work?

RibbitRewards is an altcoin which isn’t designed to be a regular currency, but is instead intended to be used by businesses for loyalty rewards. Originally it seemed to focus on the internet retail sector, with prominent plans to create their own multi-currency shopping site at Marketplace.life. A general lack of interest and delays in getting this shopping site seem to have been the main reasons behind a huge drop in value by over 90% during a crash in 2015, and the price has only recovered very weakly from its lows.

http://marketplace.life/

n recent weeks, however, a series of blog posts from RibbitRewards team members have provided teasers for what seems to be a major pivot. I can’t really do it justice in this short description, but basically they are building much more back-end technology to drive a wide range of different loyalty and rewards programs with smart contracts and branded rewards collateralized by RBR in addition to the ‘coalition rewards’ system which directly utilizes the tokens themselves.

This is a huge market, worth many tens of billions, and there seem to be some great advantages that blockchain technology can offer. Arguably this also offers a much easier path to large-scale adoption than most altcoins, as you are not asking people to switch currencies but just to use a different app with enhanced features for storing their rewards points.

It will be interesting to see how this tech develops and how it is used by different businesses, if it is used at all, and in terms of price: even a handful of small businesses using this technology would have to drive up the price from its current levels. With the potential to engage larger businesses, and marketplace.life still in the works for some point in the future, there seems to me to be an amazing potential for profit in this coin.

Just ask yourself if Loyyal was doing an ICO today, what would be the amount invested? Then look at the market cap and compare the 2 values. Now you know what you need to do.

Hint: It starts with a "B".

I believ it was confirmed on Twitter by developer that ribbet rewards will stay the same......loyyal is not a new company, as far as I know it's a rebranding and also while they have been waiting for funding the complexity of what loyyal can do has increased a lot....I'm not sure but my sense is a lot will be revealed soonish.

But forget thinking this is going to get like daily or weekly updates.....I think their are focused bigger picture and markets than this gulag. Like I said Deloitte is signed up and they are massive so I don't care how long it takes this ones going nuclear at some point. Deloitte is quoted as being a partner and client of Loyyal, the potential for this kind of partnership as they can connect to major business in a serious way makes this have so much potential it's crazy.

Imagine something like a nectar card and then think how you could use it across all buisness seamlessly, I've yiu can use air miles from an airline and get some point from your grocery and they all could be used and stored long term. The idea is to have a store but it's long time in coming. I hope they pull this off cause it's actually a massive entry point for crypto tokens and probably more easy to swallow than a current cause people are familiar to saving up 'points' from purchases and spending them.

Following the project will be annoying for some of us I admit. Twitter seems the best way to ask questions maybe, but I don't tweet...

Hey, I took the liberty of making a new ANN that had a more accurate description of the project.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1475889.0

If someone wants to make a better one or the developers make one then cool, i will delete this one, but at least we have a thread we can control the OP a little and have a clear name for the rebrand.

The OP was last active 1 year ago. Great if they come back here and share, but I wouldn't hold your breath....plus I said I would delete if the developer starts a new OP. My hunch is that aren't much bothered about things here and are building a real world company. The site has blog updates and everything anyone would want anyway.....people want constant updates on here, hand holding and weekly pump reports....Perspnally I hope they stay away honestly and create something big...this forum is a cesspool at the best of times.

Someone on the ribbitrewards forum claims that the Expanse team is involved in Loyyal.com   or ribbit tokens ... Can a team member please confirm that statement.?
Many people don't know RBR and the news about Loyyal  Grin
This is good for us, cheap coins!
when the hype about LISK, Waves DAO is over, more people will find the underrated coin.
The EXP(expanse) Team is also involved in RBR

Yes I work for Loyyal. Loyyal has some really cool news coming out in the near future.
Some incredible partnerships and clients in the pipeline that I cant wait to talk about.

that is confirmation enough for me .. thanks!

A little research goes along way.

Got to RBR website.
Look at team members
Scroll down to the blockchain team
See Franko of Franko coin and Expance listed....
