Not sure if anyone has seen this, but it looks like Hashra also failed to deliver the Moonraker as well, and that one was scheduled for a September delivery.  I would love to buy this, but only if it's legit of course.

I tried contacting them a few days ago -- with a potential wholesale order and no response.

Perhaps mentioning that I visit Hong Kong often (and would love to meet in person) made them weary.

I do travel there quarterly.  I can't figure out if their office is real or a virtual office in HK.  Anyone been to their building?

Has anyone heard at all from the OP? He claimed to be in contact with hashra on a daily basis, if we can't get any contact with hashra, perhaps he could give a little insight into the progress of development.

Product page says:

"(VERY LIMITED STOCK, SHIPPING BY 1/19/2015)"

and

Quote
The shipping date for the ASTRO miner is scheduled for December 2014, however shop.lifeforce.info understands that delays are often encountered and we are very realistic. Hashra guarantees delivery by 12/31/2014 on their website BUT WE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME GUARANTEE – INSTEAD WE WILL ONLY GUARANTEE THAT YOUR EQUIPMENT WILL BE SHIPPED BY 1/19/2015. If you want Hashra’s money back guarantee by 12/312014 then we ask that you order directly from them. No refunds in Bitcoin.

Was it different before?

Maybe the folks that are concerned are the ones that bought directly from Hashra?

What chips are they using now?

Last time I think they used zeus chips for their Lunar Launcher scrypt miners.

Hello everyone

I have also too tried to contact hashra. 10 emails later and posts made there ticket system and no response.
I'm really thinking we are being taken for a ride . No contact from a company = to me no product and fraud.

I really want this miner . But I also do not want fraud.

If hashra reads this please respond . I know we have till the end of December to receive out miners , but mine still shows awaiting fulfillment .

Sucks

Please prove me wrong and ship out the product .

I have had many emails with Simon over the course of a month, but my last email, asking for an update was on Dec 10th with no update.

Looks like Bitmain has just canceled their Scrypt L1 mining project.  Hmmm.

So what is really going on here behind the scenes?

Are Scrypt miners just not worth building?  Or is it more profitable to not sell these machines?

Either way - it doesn't sound good for alt coin mining.

Now it's up to Hashra.

My only doubt in Hashra, is where are they going to get the chips?

I get the feeling it is all related:

1.  Zeus cancelled their upgrade boards.

2.  Bitmain cancelled their L1s.

3.  Hashra is not responding.

My only doubt in Hashra, is where are they going to get the chips?

I think there is only one feasible source these days: Alcheminer, or whoever is supplying chips to them. All other Scrypt ASIC manufacturers seem to be leaving the market.

Looks like they are similar to the A2 Terminators in power use?

So I wonder if the last generation of ASIC scrypt miners will become more valuable?

Or will scrypt mining in general just slowly die off?

So we shouldn't see a spike in the LTC network hashrate in the coming months.
Or it may even decrease as those Zeus Gen I & II miners will soon become unprofitable due to the current LTC price?

It will probably reach some kind of equilibrium where Titans are barely making more than power cost. The only unknown is probably KNC "cloud" mining, they might make it completely unprofitable to anyone else.

Hi Jeremy

Thanks for getting in touch, I can confirm that they are not the same device and we are not affected by Bitmain.

We are still currently on track for shipping out by the end of the month.

If you do have any further questions then please do get in touch.

Kind Regards

Simon

So I guess I'll keep my hopes up.

Hi,

great news .. maybe I get mine starting next year ...

Regads
Stefan

This is very good news . to bad about the L1 but i knew bit main would come thu no matter what so i did what I swore i would not do and per ordered one of these .either way i get my money back i went thu  PayPal and so far in the  US thu PayPal any bad sales or buys i had they made good i was so hoping for the L1  but had a feeling this was gonna happen but didn't say much more over the last week wanted to see what was going to happen.and so far of all the script minder out there this going to be the best one by far . unless KNC get's better at CS and gives up the idea of controlling it all and stops ripping off people if All I see about them is true . or the makers of the A1 A2 gets on the ball more . or even better Zeus starts making there chips and miner again for the public. Then we have some thing but i don't see that either . so now all my hopes rest with Hashra for script miners . or this http://www.deltaminers.com/products.html company finds a really nice chip maker they are looking good but told me in email things don't look good no chips .

SEEM to be about bitmains level when it comes to support .

they http://www.deltaminers.com/products.html  even had a product with Pictures and nice stats till Zeus pulled there chips they were going to use Zeus chips now no Picture and are looking for a good chip maker which they may have now, well see .
