HASHRA ASTRO - 100 MH/S - 600 WATTS +- 10% - 28nm CHIP - $450 - FREE SHIPPING

Deliveries on the Hashra Astro will begin in December

Our new store will open Friday 11/21/14 and we'll accept BTC, Wire Transfer or Paypal.

The Lifeforce Pools store is now open for your pre-orders: Wire Transfer/Paypal and BTC Payments are accepted

http://shop.lifeforce.info

Machines Available

* Astro - 100 MH/s
* Astro - Warp2 - 200 MH/s
* Astro - Warp3 - 300 MH/s
* Astro Bumblebee - 500 MH/s
* Astro Optimus Prime - 1,000 MH/s (1 GH/s)
* Astro Megatron - 2,500 MH/s (2.5 GH/s)

I know there have been a number of complaints against Hashra for not delivering this box back in October when it was originally promised but I have been a Hashra customer since March of 2014 and yes Simon from Hashra can be very hard to get hold of once in a while, but eventually HE ALWAYS COMES THOUGH AND HE DOES EVENTUALLY DELIVER.

I communicate with Simon on a daily basis and have been watching the progress of this machine closely for a few months.

THESE REALLY ARE INCREDIBLE VALUES: Assuming $75 PSU, $20 Pi, $10 Pi PSU and $6  USB Cable = $111

The true cost ready to rock and roll is:

100 Mh/S : $5.61 MH/S
200 MH/S : $5.36 MH/S
300 MH/S : $5.21 MH?S

Quantity Discounts Available for large orders

The machine is 28NM chipped and only requires 600 Watts at 100 MH/s, but a 750 watt PSU is HIGHLY recommended to allow for safe headroom. The advertised specs are 600 watts +- 10%

I can offer you ordering these machines from a U.S. based business and many of you know me as jjj092353 before I created my new Profile after I took over the Lifeforce Pools.

I am based in Maryland, USA can take order to ship worldwide. The unit is $450 (with free worldwide shipping) and I will be offering quantity discounts and can take orders to ship worldwide and there are discounts on the 200 MH/s (2 unit) and 300 MH/s (3 unit) packages.

What I can tell you is that your questions/inquiries to me will be answered within 24 to 48 hours and folks who mine in my pools know that I'm responsive. It sucks for people who were expecting these machines back in October and have to wait an additional two months, but the Chinese Manufacturers are a fickle group and they really do have us all by the balls. I can't really speak for Simon and make no excuses for him but no doubt he was stuck between a rock and a hard place when the manufacturer encountered delays. He can only go on what he was told and none of us have magic wands.

I will be accepting Paypal, BTC and Wire Transfer.

To be realistic - you can expect delivery between December 15 and January 15 - and I AM NOT PROMISING DELIVERY BY JANUARY 1st.

I have 20 of these machines on order for myself for a small mining farm I'm building and will be stocking more for local pickup. Shipment is Free from China.

The new units do not come with a Rasberry Pi, usb cable or Pi power supply or PSU - you must purchase them locally. A Pi image will be available for downloading prior to deliver as will a special version of CGminer for Windows and *nix system.

If you want to order before the store is open I can take your orders and you'll receive an order # and your spot will be guaranteed in the first batch of these machine to be delivered.

Personally I have recommended to Simon that he raise the price on this machine January 1st because I think it's priced to low, but since Gaw pulled the plug on their 300 MH unit, Zeus pulled the plug on theirs, the L1 is not going to be made any longer and Zeus decided to NOT manufacture the Gen III boards us miners have very little to pick from and this machine is a real game changer for us folks who don't like our mining choices made for us.

one item - this image for the rasberry only work with the B, not the B+ - so i'f you're out gathering goodies - not not buy an RPI B+

and this is new software - not a remake of the scripta software which I never liked - they loaded too many bells and whishtles in it and it caused problems. I like the simplicity of the zeus image the best - even though it got dated and the chip settings were all incorrect - it still worked and continues to work great.

by the way - if anyone out there is mining with Zeus Machines (14 through 44 mhs units) - not the Gar War Machine - a fixed difficulty of 700 make these machines run perfect...

don't ask me why - it flies in the face of logic but they run great at a fixed difficulty of 700.

you can either use a rpi or there will be a version of cgminer available for download to run in windows or linux boxes. I like the simplicity of the rpi personally.

I prefer to have less hardware.  Since I already have an 8core/16gb rig running 4 GPU's and 3 G-blades, that still has available USB ports, I'm all about adding more to that...   Grin

well - the boards are complete and tested which is how they came up with the revised power requirements. cases are being manufactured and software being tested now. So I am not promising  by December 31 tough I am hopeful deliveries begin by December 15.....

I will definitely get one or two of the hashra units but will not preorder them. Getting shafted by Zeusminer has taught me that. Will you be keeping units on hand for people to order anfter shipments have commenced? Please post store link when it's up

yes - I will stock units in Maryland but cannot offer free shipping or I can have them shipped direct to you from China  but there's no guarantee there will be free shipping from China after shipments have commenced - shipping is normally $100 to $150 on one of these boxes...just an fyi and thank for the inquiry

and I don't blame you one bit on being gun shy on pre-orders. I've been lucky and have always received my gear - though...never when it was originally promised... LOL

Hashra has been late in the past, but my experience is that they do eventually deliver - remember these units were originally promised in October and delayed till December so the odds are in your favor they'll actually make this promised delivery date.....

Well shoot!  I was going to wait for the L1 to back up for sale but for $450 this sounds pretty damn good.  Even though the power efficiency isn't as good, this rig should ROI without any problem.  How much profit there is to be had is the questionable part.

Hey folks - just so you know I deleted a few posts from some FUDDER named RASKILL - the guy is just totally negative on Hashra and has openly called me a liar and said Hashra has never deliver a single system. The guy clearly has mental issues and access to a computer or a serious axe to grind against Hashra - I deleted his FUD and will continue to delete anything he posts or any FUD in this thread.

If he or any Fudder want to spread their Fud - it's a free website and world -and they are free to do so - just not here. I won't permit an informative and productive thread to be contaminate by their rediculous and false claims that Hashra has never delivered a single system when in fact that is preposterous.

ok - I'm back to finishing up the new store - more to follow today and thanks to all of you for your interest.

These are truly exciting times for Miners who like to make their own choices - whether you realize it not between us and the rental market - we are the only thing that keeps the alt crypto currency market alive because all of the cloud based services only want to mine BTC or LTC - we play an extremely vital role in this market.

It may be I'm to sceptic but my first impression is "to good to be true"

Reading hashra.com faq I spotted :
Quote
Q: Can I get a refund on my order?
A: Because of the unpredictability of the Crypto industry we cannot issue any refunds on any orders. All machines come with a warranty and if your machine is not working then a replacement miner or parts will be sent to you after you have sent the Miner back to China.

Assuming that OP is just a part of the sale chain fo hashra, I would like to confirm with OP : is your sale policy same as this we may found on hashra.com?

Their website takes Paypal -- so if you use a real credit card (not a debit card) -- you are easily covered.  If it doesn't come in by the time they promise - then you get a refund.

Normally I wouldn't buy a pre-order -- but the seller seems quite legit in my correspondence with him and its not like I'm paying with Bitcoin or wiring money.   Smiley

I'm interested in this deal too. But I will not do a pre-order, and if that means no free shipping after units actually materialize, then it will be too risky for me from an ROI perspective.

With a 3% difficulty increase, free electricity, and an estimated 10% return increase for using a well performing multipool, 54 days to delivery, and no power supply cost (I already have a couple), ROI is almost 140 days out. Add another $150 and the ROI is something like 300 days out.

If units actually ship and the free shipping is still available, then I'll take this risk. In fact, I'd probably go for the 200 MHz unit. Otherwise I'll pass.

You are covered to a point.   This is why I asked about proof not rendering.  I would LOVE to see some prototypes.

If you let it go on to long credit card and paypal can loose protection.   Look up terrahash sales.

Again I'm hoping they will show some videos or pics with December release date.

How long are you covered with a credit card?  From what I read - it is 60 days from when it shows on your billing statement?

Of course - never buy using a debit card.  You will not be protected!!

Paypal I believe is 45 days.  Credit cards are not the same.  Some are better then others, call their support line and check.

I would say pick a date within protected time and if it has not shipped before then call and start the process.   For example January 1st if not shipped as promised in December go ahead and get money back.

When it comes to making a payment via Paypal -- you can either:

1.  Pay with a credit card (and not have your Paypal account associated with it)

2.  Or you can login to your Paypal account and then pay for the item (just be sure it is a credit card they have associated with your account - not your bank account, debit card or an existing Paypal balance).

I'm not sure which one would give you more protection -- as I'm not a big fan of Paypal in how they handle disputes in general.

Anyway - I feel confident that this seller will deliver on time.  It's not like the Hashra units are using some new advanced technology.  The chips are 28nm.  The power usage is a little less than the A2 Terminator units - but it isn't set in stone [as their site says "Approximately 600w (+ or -10%)"].

I definitely will feel better though if an actual unit is shown running.  I think they are just waiting on the enclosures.

I wonder how many units are being produced and sold.

Curious too if anyone has experience on having to pay duties when shipping from China to the US?

Well these units were due to be released in October.  So that doesn't help on reputation - lol.

all toll - I've about had 12 deliveries to the US from China - only once out of 12 times did I get an import duty bill from DHL and it was for $40 on 3 Rockminers from Zoomhash

the chinese suppliers are pretty good at describing the units so they aren't subject to import duties here in the U.S.

Traded some email with Simon this morning

we're probably a week to 10 days away from showing a completed board - engineering tweaks still be done.

he prefers to show the finished board

a video of hashing will follow shortly thereafter.

Uh oh - I was under the impression that everything was done and they were just waiting on the enclosures.

So at this point they don't even have a completed board.

10 days would be December 5th - to show a completed board.

Then how long does it take to manufacture this in mass quantities?  And then assemble the finished product?

I think a realistic time-line needs to be provided…

This is now making me nervous.   Undecided

I'm not trying to create drama here -- but this is what you said in a previous post:

"well - the boards are complete and tested which is how they came up with the revised power requirements. cases are being manufactured and software being tested now. So I am not promising  by December 31 tough I am hopeful deliveries begin by December 15….."

Now you are saying that they are not complete and they need 7-10 to finish testing the board, which means the boards are NOT completed and tested.

I'm sure you can see my concern??

I understand  - it all boils down to the definition of complete...

I said tweaking and that's what I meant - minor changes to resistors etc to get the most speed and efficiency they can.

and I'm serious about what I said about two hours.

http://www.chinaimportal.com/blog/importers-guide-to-shenzhen-capital-of-electronics-manufacturing/

however - if you really are concerned I have no problem whatsoever about refunding all of your money - no problem whatsoever.

I am just trying to be honest - something that's sorely lacking from people selling gear on this website.

you can wait until after the first batch is delivered here in the states and place another order if you like.

let me know if you want a refund - thanks!

if there are going to be delays - you guys will be the first to know because just like you - I adhere to bad news is better than no news and it's exactly why I stated than I'm hopeful that deliveries can begin mid December but I said in my OP "I AM NOT PROMISING DELIVERY BY JANUARY 1st."

I've been down this path several times - with pre-orders and I never had the comfort level of being able to deal with someone in the states - it was always either send BTC or Wire Transfer to China and then good luck if delays were encountered. I like to think I'm providing a valuable service that miners have never had before.

Smiley thanks!

I appreciate the offer Smiley  but I still have faith and will wait the 10 days to see a video of the completed unit running.

If they fail to meet this crucial deadline of a real unit (in a high quality video showing the insides and out / hashing, etc) -- then I would definitely want a refund.

I've actually travelled to Shenzhen -- but it has been 10 years and I know a lot has changed.

Thanks for your honesty!

please define 'some' - I need to make plans and as it looks right now I probably won't stock any since I plan on putting everything I get into action mining.

when the cut off date is established for this first batch of orders I'll get in touch and if you want me to hold one or two I should be able to based on a small deposit.

thanks

Where is local pickup at?

West Chester, Pa. USA!

I will pick up some when you have stock, if there isn't too much snow.  please let me know.

please define 'some' - I need to make plans and as it looks right now I probably won't stock any since I plan on putting everything I get into action mining.

when the cut off date is established for this first batch of orders I'll get in touch and if you want me to hold one or two I should be able to based on a small deposit.

thanks

snow....we shall see Smiley

Probably < 5 .

I'm having a hard time understanding how you are selling bundles of 25 miners, yet have physical plans to mine with all.   I know how much space/psus/AC is needed for these, that would be impossible to plan for if you don't know how many units you will get after pre-orders.

your website has "bundles of 25", which you are accepting payment for.

http://shop.lifeforce.info/shop/astro-megatron-2500mh-2-5-ghs25-x-100-mhthe-biggest-the-baddest/

as you said "I probably won't stock any since I plan on putting everything I get into action mining", I wasn't sure how you know how many you will accommodate in your mining when you don't know how many you will have ordered.

 Thanks dood.

great.

my point is that you could sell 200 more units before your shipment.

So I'm asking how you have physical plans for mining when you don't know how many miners you will have.

The reasons I ask, are because:

you are beating around the bush for some reason

I want to know if you will have miners for me to buy.

actually - I am not beating around the bush. I have not decided on whether or not I will keep any machines in stock for resale and that is an honest answer.

first - I have limited space to store them -..the simplest and most cost effective method is to simply pre-order. These machines are unlike any other type of inventory because they can make money for me (or anyone) by simply being turned on.

however I will talk to my business partner and discuss buying some extra units that we can put into production and earmark for resale at the advertised price and get back to you and post via this thread today.

regards

Yes its nice but almost impossible to calculate ROI at this rate since the difficulty will increase exponentially.

Yes its nice but almost impossible to calculate ROI at this rate since the difficulty will increase exponentially.

if you're referring to LTC I agree however there are published Difficulty Charts. But as we both know increasing difficulty is really small potatoes compared to increasing network hash which is the real deciding factor. But LTC is just one of 50 to 60 scrypt coins and depending on your mining goals and strategy, LTC may not even be a choice. As the owner of a pool with over 25 coins, I can tell you what only a very small percentage of miners mine LTC - LTC seems to the primary choice for mining farms and folks who mine primarily for short term profit and because if it's large daily yield. The balance of the scrypt mining community focuses on about 15 to 20 coins that have better ROI's than LTC but have much smaller daily total yields.

What is truly amazing if you look at Network Hash rates is the amount of hashing power dedicated to Doge with it's extraordinary low daily yields, but there are a lot miners banking on a dramatic increase in values when it halves soon.

Only time will tell - of course!

exciting and interesting times for sure....

I agree -- I think you would make more money mining other coins like 42, BTB, GLD, ARI, NVC, HBN, etc. -- that is what I do.  They tend to always be more profitable than LTC.  You can then trade the native coin into BTC using an exchange like Cryptsy.

Plus with these coins, you find blocks faster, the difficulty is much much much lower than LTC and you see money trickle in constantly -- instead of hoping to hit the LTC block once in a blue moon.

In addition - it is just more fun.  You have a little more control over your future and sometimes you get lucky if you trade right and do really well.

So ROI on a Scrypt miner -- outlook still seems to show less than 100 days for LTC -- but if you think outside the box -- outlook can be much better!

I just saw the Difficulty History chart for Litecoin and on 11/29/14 it actually dropped by 2.62% and the next prediction is less than 1%.  So it is rising overall slowly -- not exponentially.

It's hashrate that isn't "dedicated" to Dogecoin, though...that's the thing. It's hashrate being thrown at Dogecoin due to Litecoin merged mining, because why not get both, while you're at it? The extra Dogecoin is icing. I don't think anyone is banking on ANYTHING, with regard to Dogecoin. It has never reacted to halvings with price gains.

In my opinion, we're probably looking at 2 TH/s in Litecoin by the end of the year. I'm holding out a little longer before my next round of hardware. My power costs are just too high...I need hardware to come under $4/MH (after power supplies, etc...)

(...)

These are truly exciting times for Miners who like to make their own choices - whether you realize it not between us and the rental market - we are the only thing that keeps the alt crypto currency market alive because all of the cloud based services only want to mine BTC or LTC - we play an extremely vital role in this market.

you're spot on -- but, strangely, almost nobody seems to really catch on to this :(  It's all cloud mining centers -- which sucks for the very reasons you mentioned!

Feels like 1993 when the AOL idiots were unleashed and fucked up "our good ole internet" (and trampled Netiquette and gave rise to all kinds of cons and bamboozles because they were so dumb that online crime started to pay).

I am glad that you actively support some counter-measures against this re-happening. Crypto coins are about DECENTRALIZATION, so let us not fall for "centralization through the back-door" -- again...

Well there's only one machine -- the Hashra Astro @ 100 Mh/s.  The "Warp 3" must be three of these machines.

Looks like I'm gonna order one from you as a trial before I get more. When is the last date I can order to still be in on the first shipments?

$5.00 USD per day to run 600 watts?  Wow - you pay a fortune for electricity!

I mean seriously?  If you have to pay 34 cents / kWh -- then definitely don't buy a miner.

Where I live -- it would cost about $1.73 per day (12 cents / kWh).

Also - if you're buying this machine to mine LTC -- then don't do it.  There are so many other coins that pay much more per day, with less variance than LTC.

My electricity costs are flat so that doesn't factor into the equation for me...also, this is a hobby so im not looking at it from a ROI perspective...just want the power Smiley

I agree - this has been a great hobby for me (and quite an education).  If I break even or make a little then that is icing on the cake.

I do like that the Scrypt miners are not becoming obsolete so quickly like the Bitcoin miners.

Hi there - looking for an update on the miners.

Looks like (at the minimum) we were due pictures and videos of the units hashing by December 5th -- and now we are at December 9th.

What do your sources say with missing this deadline?

This was the last email I got from Simon on Dec 4th

Quote
Hi XXXXXX

We had to do some small changes to the board design so we are now on track for around mid-late December.

We'll do our best to keep you updated.

If you do have any further questions then please do get in touch.

Kind Regards

Ok - but looking for information from lifeforcepools -- as he is the one selling the units in the US.

He was promised (by Simon) some real evidence that these units were not vaporware and that deadline has passed.  Eeek!

Ok - but looking for information from lifeforcepools -- as he is the one selling the units in the US.

He was promised (by Simon) some real evidence that these units were not vaporware and that deadline has passed.  Eeek!

I reserved mine straight from Simon and I'm in the US.

And yes, I'm just as nervous.

Smiley

You are covered to a point.   This is why I asked about proof not rendering.  I would LOVE to see some prototypes.

If you let it go on to long credit card and paypal can loose protection.   Look up terrahash sales.

Again I'm hoping they will show some videos or pics with December release date.

that request is being taken very seriously and I'm working on that and I'll be back to you via a post here...

Smiley

Any luck getting anything more then renderings?

Do they expect to meet December shipping?

I'm hoping Hashra will get this one out. Bitmain L1 has a better power efficiency, but will stop producing after batch 1.
A2 miners price have gone down a little.

Everybody is in the waiting mode...

The silence has me a bit concerned.

Not sure if I should order direct from Hasra or put in an order with lifeforcepools?   ...maybe it's best that I wait.

Is Hashra going to have stock on these once they are out or will they be sold out before they ship? I try not to pre-order any equipment. Thanks for the info.

My suggestion is waiting till more then rendering.  There are very few companies I trust with pre-order without a working prototype shown off.

I am hoping to see more about this miner, but it appears to be just renderings right now.

Not sure if anyone has seen this, but it looks like Hashra also failed to deliver the Moonraker as well, and that one was scheduled for a September delivery.  I would love to buy this, but only if it's legit of course.

I tried contacting them a few days ago -- with a potential wholesale order and no response.

Perhaps mentioning that I visit Hong Kong often (and would love to meet in person) made them weary.

I do travel there quarterly.  I can't figure out if their office is real or a virtual office in HK.  Anyone been to their building?

Product page says:

"(VERY LIMITED STOCK, SHIPPING BY 1/19/2015)"

and

Quote
The shipping date for the ASTRO miner is scheduled for December 2014, however shop.lifeforce.info understands that delays are often encountered and we are very realistic. Hashra guarantees delivery by 12/31/2014 on their website BUT WE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME GUARANTEE – INSTEAD WE WILL ONLY GUARANTEE THAT YOUR EQUIPMENT WILL BE SHIPPED BY 1/19/2015. If you want Hashra’s money back guarantee by 12/312014 then we ask that you order directly from them. No refunds in Bitcoin.

Was it different before?

What chips are they using now?

Last time I think they used zeus chips for their Lunar Launcher scrypt miners.

Hello everyone

I have also too tried to contact hashra. 10 emails later and posts made there ticket system and no response.
I'm really thinking we are being taken for a ride . No contact from a company = to me no product and fraud.

I really want this miner . But I also do not want fraud.

If hashra reads this please respond . I know we have till the end of December to receive out miners , but mine still shows awaiting fulfillment .

Sucks

Please prove me wrong and ship out the product .

I have had many emails with Simon over the course of a month, but my last email, asking for an update was on Dec 10th with no update.

Looks like Bitmain has just canceled their Scrypt L1 mining project.  Hmmm.

So what is really going on here behind the scenes?

Are Scrypt miners just not worth building?  Or is it more profitable to not sell these machines?

Either way - it doesn't sound good for alt coin mining.

I get the feeling it is all related:

1.  Zeus cancelled their upgrade boards.

2.  Bitmain cancelled their L1s.

3.  Hashra is not responding.

My only doubt in Hashra, is where are they going to get the chips?

I think there is only one feasible source these days: Alcheminer, or whoever is supplying chips to them. All other Scrypt ASIC manufacturers seem to be leaving the market.

Looks like they are similar to the A2 Terminators in power use?

So I wonder if the last generation of ASIC scrypt miners will become more valuable?

Or will scrypt mining in general just slowly die off?

So we shouldn't see a spike in the LTC network hashrate in the coming months.
Or it may even decrease as those Zeus Gen I & II miners will soon become unprofitable due to the current LTC price?

It will probably reach some kind of equilibrium where Titans are barely making more than power cost. The only unknown is probably KNC "cloud" mining, they might make it completely unprofitable to anyone else.

Hi Jeremy

Thanks for getting in touch, I can confirm that they are not the same device and we are not affected by Bitmain.

We are still currently on track for shipping out by the end of the month.

If you do have any further questions then please do get in touch.

Kind Regards

Simon

So I guess I'll keep my hopes up.

Hi,

great news .. maybe I get mine starting next year ...

Regads
Stefan

This is very good news . to bad about the L1 but i knew bit main would come thu no matter what so i did what I swore i would not do and per ordered one of these .either way i get my money back i went thu  PayPal and so far in the  US thu PayPal any bad sales or buys i had they made good i was so hoping for the L1  but had a feeling this was gonna happen but didn't say much more over the last week wanted to see what was going to happen.and so far of all the script minder out there this going to be the best one by far . unless KNC get's better at CS and gives up the idea of controlling it all and stops ripping off people if All I see about them is true . or the makers of the A1 A2 gets on the ball more . or even better Zeus starts making there chips and miner again for the public. Then we have some thing but i don't see that either . so now all my hopes rest with Hashra for script miners . or this http://www.deltaminers.com/products.html company finds a really nice chip maker they are looking good but told me in email things don't look good no chips .

SEEM to be about bitmains level when it comes to support .

they http://www.deltaminers.com/products.html  even had a product with Pictures and nice stats till Zeus pulled there chips they were going to use Zeus chips now no Picture and are looking for a good chip maker which they may have now, well see .

Not worth? Don't you think it's another reason? Zeus showed that it IS profitable. But they also showed the new machines are too profitable to only sell them to a couple home miners. Instead they sell in big numbers to cloud mining services and/or start their own one. That way they make way more profit with cashing high maintenance fees from "stupid" investors who think they can make a good deal. To me it seems that scrypt asic manufacturers will mostly go this way.

Well I sincerely hope you get it before Christmas…  which would mean they need to ship today, but it is already Sunday there in HK.

I dunno what to think of the "communications" -- they are so wishy washy and noncommittal.  I'm assuming you paid via BTC?

If they can get these out somewhat on time then it will be a great thing for alt coin mining in general.

Fingers crossed for you!

Its not a day too soon. I know for a fact that an american company, quite new in hardware scene has developed an Asic that mines both scrypt, x11,x13,x15 were they are avle to do double minig between 2 algo. But the chip is not for sale and they are only going to use it with their own farms…  so lots of things are going on at the moment. I also know that a chip is under development for both sha256 and Scrypt at the same time is close. I do not know if this chip is going to be released to the masses but very soon Gaw, Genisis, Zeus hash are obsolete.

The reason some people including myself is so down with TRASHRA, is we still have no delivery to date. We have been promised by Simon on deliveries and they keep getting pushed back. My last email was saying close to end of December and still no reply. He has stolen over $6000.00 from me and I don't really trust him. If he will deliver, then I will definitively retract.

It's fascinating to see that lifeforcepools and Xircom are both involved in yet another Scrypt ASIC purchase that seems to be very similar to the MAT disaster here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=485237.340

I expect them to post happy pictures of their gear while other buyers are being fed with hope and promises.

Wait -- so you're saying that Xircom is partners with lifeforcepools on buying units from Hashra (through their online store)?

I don't know what their relationship is - if there is any. I'm just pointing out the same characters being involved in another purchase that they claimed turned out well for them, but not so well for many others. This thread is starting to look a lot like the MAT one. Delays, no communication from the company, some posters claim to have exclusive insight... as if the thread being self-moderated wasn't enough of a red flag Wink

Hey you, get outta here with all that logic stuff!  SHOO!!  Cheesy Grin

Thank god I ordered 36 miners from Simon and not Bitmain. Everything is ready,  36 pcs Evga 750 gold, 18 pcs PI‘s and 8 meters of racks,  2 x 24 port switches…. Bring em on Simon😊
Hopefully the PI image will be ready soon…

Wow - how much do you pay for electricity?

Curious - are you going to wire for 220 volts or 120 volts?  I had a friend wire for 220 volts to save money -- and supposedly it is more efficient?

Its not a day too soon. I know for a fact that an american company, quite new in hardware scene has developed an Asic that mines both scrypt, x11,x13,x15 were they are avle to do double minig between 2 algo. But the chip is not for sale and they are only going to use it with their own farms…  so lots of things are going on at the moment. I also know that a chip is under development for both sha256 and Scrypt at the same time is close. I do not know if this chip is going to be released to the masses but very soon Gaw, Genisis, Zeus hash are obsolete.

As long Simon deliver my miners I have no claim against him. So if lifeforce should order spondoolies as I have, then we are suchpuppets once again… come on. How many places is left to order miners?  Get real !

No, its not these guys. They are also on my watchlist for some months now. No,  the company im talking about is a big mining operation in scrypt who is also a software dev. Company with a department of 8 guys only focusing on dev on this new asic…

Comparing Spondoolies to shady companies with a history of lying to customers will not change the fact that you were shilling for MAT and you are shilling for Hashra now. I don't know what your motivation is, maybe you're just a misguided customer with money to burn, but you should try to understand how this looks from outside.

Ask Simon to come here and communicate to a larger group of customers. That would be easier and more productive than answering all those individual e-mails.

Where's lifeforcepools in all this?  He indicated to everyone that he would have an update by the 20th?  And that the customers could decide if they want in or out?

HI,

last time I've read something from simon@hashra the "on track" was ment as "we are on track of our schedule to start the deliveri of the miner in december" nothing more ...

Or do you have a changed orderstatus in your account.

He hasn't posted in this thread since 6 December. Prior to that he posted here daily if not several times daily. And its not like he's gone. Look at his post history. He continues to post in other threads. Like I said above, draw your own conclusions but it would appear that he's not replying here for a reason.

Well so here's the deal in my situation:

I wasn't going to mention all of this, but since he doesn't want to update everyone on the status -- I will…

So I bought two units from lifeforcepools -- their online shop.  We were all then notified on this forum that Hashra was still tweaking the final boards and we should expect a video or something by the first week of December.  That long passed and then I emailed lifeforcepools and he responded (12/9):

Simon is feverishly trying to get things ready - you are welcome to a refund but if you take one - I will not accept a re-order and to be honest you will not be able to get a machine until sometime in late february if you cancel now and nothing else is available at this price and mh/s rate.

I do not expect anything from simon picture or video wise until about 12/20

you're call my friend.

And then I indicated my disappointment that I would not be able to order a unit after they started arriving… He replied (12/10):

I never said anyone could re-order  I'm sorry if you got that perception.

Simon told me he is cutting off orders on a certain date because last time it got too confusing trying to process last minute orders and get the shipping data entered for all the orders so I'm going to go along with him. If orders are are not in by the cut-off date then people will have to wait for batch 2.

I know what I put up and I was going by what Simon told me - it's my not fault that he's behind schedule - seriously - it's not my fault and I have no control over him whatsoever.

Pre-orders are not for the faint of heart. You roll the dice - I've lived through a few of them and you're always holding your breath.
I would advise you to wait until the 20th of this month. between you and I ... I put a gun to Simon's head and told him unless I get a status update then he's not getting any money.

I have not sent him a single cent - everyone's money is still stirring in the paypal account because the only leverage I have over Simon is holding back money and this is between you and I - not for publication on the forum.

My business partner wants every machine we can get out hands on so there won't be any inventoried machines to sell. If someone cancels we're taking their order and he wont give them up.

I apologize is my reply came across harsh - it was not meant to be. but if people cancel I won;t have any machines to sell them until batch 2.

but seriously - look at it this way - there's nothing out there that even comes close to competing with these machines and there is nothing on the horizon from anyone.

Simon and Hashra really are the only game in town right now. But hey - I will do whatever you like within my power.

And then in a follow up email:

my experience is that all chinese companies and this industry is shady and filled with shady characters. However my experience with Simon is that he's been a man of word, chronically late with everything but he eventually does deliver.

I'm giving Simon another 10 days to come up with solid proof of the new board design, pics and video before I pull the plug and return everyone's money. I'll still wait it out the 20 machines I've already paid for for myself and my partner because we know how to mine and make a profit, We are very fleet afoot when it comes to siezing opportunities.

And then in an email on the 16th:

Simon has been responsive and told me last friday that he would do his best to get a video. In another thread he did refund money to a guy who had been asking for it.

I am going to leave it up to the individuals who have places orders if I don;t have something by the end of Saturday from Simon. Simon never gave us a video when he produced his first batch of machines and he did deliver them to everyone who ordered.

My personal feeling is that he guys sucks as a responsive business man and I'm going to cut him some slack 'personally' and my order for 20 machines will go through.

For everyone else, I'll just give them the fact about the video not being supplied and leave it up to them.

And then I asked for a refund, which he promptly initiated -- but it is taking 5 days to receive it, because the money is not coming from his Paypal account, but from his bank account -- according to a Paypal rep this morning.  So him saying "everyone's money is still stirring in the paypal account" is not true in my case.

I hate to give out this information, but he's not responding to a thread he created.  Sorry.

no - it's Simon's original miners that he sold us back in May of last year.

the Lunar Launchers http://hashra.com/launcher/

Simon made delivery by the skin of his teeth - and then to our dismay he dropped the price even before they reached our doorsteps and I got the difference refunded. It was a real slap in the face to all of us and I think Simon learned his lesson from that.

that's what I am referring to and in another thread on Hashra where someone was complaining that Hashra is a scam the guy got his money refunded. I had a lot of communications with Simon over the weekend and I'm confident he'll deliver as promised. I am disappointed that he has not been able to supply me a video that I can post but based on my experience with him in the past "delivering" I'm confident he'll come through again and when it comes to him 'sucking' at P.R. - it's true and I've told him so...and trust me - I'be used much harsher words with Simon in the past.

Wow.  I hope all of you who pre-ordered actually get your orders remotely on time or at all. As for me, at the moment I am glad I decided to go another route.  I sincerely hope I'm wrong.

Maybe its just me, but if I were selling these and accepting pre-orders and lots of money from people...  Making promises and extending promises from my suppliers... If I had made a "Breaking News" post to hype up the product I'm selling... And there was suddenly doubt as to my ability to deliver and the ability of my suppliers... I don't know maybe its just me but I would feel a sense of responsibility to at least try to alay any fears or doubts.  Not just show up back in the thread conveneintly after someone exposes info that was previously unknown and say "there are no real questions here I thought needed to be answered".

Folks I think that right there is a good indication of the importance of legitamate concerns thst were rsised, as opposed to the importance given to questions about ordering and specs.  Again I sincerely hope I'm proven wrong and you all get your orders on time because I hate hearing these stories of pre-order scams, but I personally am currently glad I went in another direction for my own plans.

For me it was that you indicated at several particular dates that you would provide updates and instead you just remained silent until after the fact.

If you spoke to Simon over the weekend, then why not provide information in YOUR thread?

I hope they still come through for so many that have ordered -- but the updates from you have been so cryptic and wishy washy -- it was enough for me to say no more -- I'm out.  LOL

I also hope that you will keep your word and allow anyone else that has purchased through your online store to be entitled to a refund NOW -- if they don't want to wait any longer.

I do appreciate you promptly starting the refund process to me through Paypal (when requested), but again it was delayed by 5+ days because Paypal had to pull money from a bank account to cover the refund.  The money was not just sitting with Paypal.  If the money was just sitting in a Paypal account, as you indicated earlier, then it would have been an almost instant refund (12-24 hours).  I only bring this technicality up as something just doesn't jive.  Time will tell.

and I was told my my banker to not leave money sitting in my paypal account based on the number of recent paypal hacks since I though I was being prudent.

bottom line is that I'm satisfied based on emails with Simon that he will deliver and I'll leave it at that.

we will have our machines in the first two week of january and if you still interested I'm sure you can get one on the second batch which will be coming in february.

and for the record I have deleted Suchmoon's posts - they were ignorant and condescending and I've never done a single thing to this guy, but yet this chooses to insult me.

thanks

I hope you end up doing inventory.  I personally have been scared of preorders like many.   I expect your sales would be quite a bit more if we could see a product and especially if in stock.

Do you have a video or pictures of the hashra unit?  Or is it still renderings?

I was skeptical about this offer from the beginning. Scrypt ASIC hardware is going nowhere fast.

But the fact that lifeforcepools has taken this long to respond to people's reasonable concerns over lack of information, plus the fact that (s)he's attempted to censor Suchmoon tells me to steer clear of this deal.

I'm "unwatching" this thread now...

So sorry,  you are completely wrong here. ASIC scrypt scene is running very fast at the moment,  but are kept secret for most people. And the big difference now is that these asics are never going to be for sale for the public.
The big mistake was made by Zeus from the beginning they halted the Volcano and blades,  the Zeushash will never bee the success they thought it would be and for sure they didnt wanted to compete against them self by releasing the volcano… big mistake. They should have kept the hardware sales and terminate the Zeushash.
Hashra,  Wolfcave,  MAT and Alcheminer are the only ones left now and if they UP the service level they have a bright future ahead of them if they can manage to make a deal with one of the 2 American companies working on the 2 gen Scrypt Asic.
Re Lifeforce I think you are doing yet again what you have done in almost all the topics re miner hardware… can't even remember if you have spoken nicely about anyone.. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I would guess Lifeforce is in the same shitty situation like the rest of us,  that Simon is quiet and do not perform… do not blame Lifeforce.
Finally just a thought of my own… could it be that Bitmain and Zeus made a deal re Not releasing the L1 Huh I think they did,  sorry for my thoughts,  but I'm used to deal with chinese in my daily work and you can't trust them ever !!! Its a culture to cheat and you can't change a culture.

I'm running 220v 😄 otherwise too expensive.

Martin - trend indicators added...lots more goodies to come - Santa's been hard at work and the Elves are working their little butts off

I will definitely get one or two of the hashra units but will not preorder them. Getting shafted by Zeusminer has taught me that. Will you be keeping units on hand for people to order anfter shipments have commenced? Please post store link when it's up

I notice that to one the miner on lifepools was doing 8000 mh he now at 44 mh he was that way for a week, i noticed unless he had deep pockets im guessing he was testing things.

A lot of assumptions there -- you can easily buy hash on Betarigs and other sites.  I've done that for coins recently.

but 8000 mh for a week  you know what that would cost. he would have  to rent 24 or  some odd titans at  300 MH to reach 8gs or 8000 MS. and that kind of renting power won't be cheap i said either hes testing or has deep pockets  . i have rented rig on both if i was rent any thing it would be there i have full control over what i mine and were, unlike most cloud mining which i won't do at all Smiley.and Usually just before a new miner is released more then likely it's being tested for shipments if you see the network hash jump up to fast for no reason. then it drops back to normal a few hours to two days later . Smiley ... hope that explains it. and hes not saying it was Hashra hes hoping it was  . and you maybe right about my assumptions won't say it's not i looked up that miner it seems he may be rich to some extent .

Yes - I fully understand the equipment needed for that bump in hashrate.  I'm just saying that unless one has some proof that this is coming from Company "A" - then why say "from the network hashrate it looks like they are finished making them…"

It could be from anyone.

I just want to see the miner itself.  I don't trust renderings after so many scams have used just that.   I am hoping still they show the miner prove efficiency.   I will admit I kinda am losing hope with this since they seem to not want to share any solid specs, pics, videos, etc proving miner.

On hashrate you could very easily rent Scrypt miners from a few different sites.  A site like nicehash you could just do a huge order, or other sites do a lot miner rentals.  The you can sell LTC or what ever you mined and you will pay a decent amount of rental.  So you only lose partial of what you spend on renting.

If it is all true then its a great miner for a heck of a price.   I hope that turns out to be the case, but December is almost over.

So I did get my refund processed by LifeForcePools and their web store.  It did take about 7 days to see show up, but this was mainly due to Paypal (having to pull funds from their bank account first) and then my credit card company posting the refund amount.

I'm with CartmanSPC -- if they are available for immediate shipment -- I'd easily buy 10 of them.  I mean $4500 for 1GH/s?  That is a deal - but I'm starting to wonder if it is a deal too good to be true.  Hopefully not.

The bold is what scares me most.  I bought a pre-order from a hardware company (terrahash).   They did the same thing release a little information, let time keep going and it got quieter and quieter after buyers protection passed.

Do you have any pics, vids, or anything else you can share of product?  I still want to believe.

No I have nothing but empty promises.  That is why I cancelled my order.

There has been no new information regarding this product since the end of November.

The Hashra Astro was to be released in October.  So did anyone get a refund from that deadline?

Plus I remember (around September / October 2014) seeing the supposed Hashra Astro on Ebay selling for like $450 -- but then they had a crazy shipping price of another $900.  This listing was directly from China.  At that time I thought -- what kind of scam is this?  Why would someone charge $900 for shipping.  The listings eventually disappeared.

Usually when a something is for sale on Ebay and the shipping price is outrageous - you know a scam is about to happen, because shipping is not refundable.

Time will tell in 5 days.

I'm guessing it means if you  want one in Jan 2015 order it before 12/129/2014 the next batch won't be released till FEB 2015 B2 or Maybe later .I'm guessing if he said that we can hope to see B1 by the Jan 19 th 2015 I like to think or it's a selling tool . either way if you got your refund I'm not to worried I don't want a refund i want the miner but I'll give it till the 19 th . Wasn't that one on eBay a auction ,  I saw i thought was kind of high . but that's eBay and how auctions go.

Well either the seller knows information that they are shipping -- or -- he is hyping it up trying to get people to put in their orders, so he has more cash in the bank.

Did he just make these dates up?

Or did the all mighty Oracle "SIMON" send him a cryptic email that shipping was potentially going to happen sometime in the future - but maybe not.  LOL

Considering he still has not released proof or explained dates I would say so sadly.

Throw out a number cheaper then other miners by a good amount, with newer technology gets some attention.  Make a order by date....  a way to get a few extra to feel rushed and order without proof.

Can you please release pictures, video, anything new?

I would like to purchase these but will not place an order until they are shipping.  I ordered a BFL Monarch and was lucky to get a refund 3 weeks before the FTC shut down BFL.  I feel lucky I just gave them a 6 Month no interest loan.  I will never preorder again.
As an aside WTF LTC nethash 2.25TH/s. Est next diff 73441 earlier.

**Edit that was the nethash Coinwarz was showing earlier.  Not sure it was accurate.  The estimated diff was from wemineltc.

I'm suprised people are ordering at all.  I still would LOVE to see pics, videos, anything besides rendering.   Should we not see a bunch of chips from the maker at this point?  Or a bunch of cases, internal controller boards, etc.  Should be a heck of a lot of stuff they could show.

I just think they would have shown more then rendering if it exists.   There are a lot of parts they could show if it truly is here, but so far silence.

I just think they would have shown more then rendering if it exists.   There are a lot of parts they could show if it truly is here, but so far silence.

That always worries me as well, but there has been several ASICs that were actually produced that didn't have anything but a render right up to the point of delivery.
Wife is going to be pissed if this ends up not going the right way.

those thing should break even in one months, based on the calculator, dunno if coinwarz is correct

not bad at all for an asic scrypt

Hmm - not seeing where these will break even in one month.  You have to pay for electricity, a PSU and a controller (or a spare PC).

A simple calculation using LTC (which is not what you want to mine) -- would show a break even point of 168 days (if you are adding $50 for a PSU -- total cost of $500) and your electricity is 11 cents per kw.  If you take a coin that performs 200% of LTC -- which doesn't really exist all the time -- that would cut the time in half.

Maybe 3 months if you mine the right coins?

they won't unless hes run in  like 20 or 30 at once . 42s imo are  the best to mine atm, don't even come close to one month. it takes all most a year at 300 MH i think i saw to mine one 42 which pays well in BTC . yup atm one 42 sells for $1,655.77 USD per 42  Smiley . my bad that's at 75 MH a year  you only get 0.75326600 42 and at 300 mh 3.01306398  a year in 42 till 42 are mined  out which will  take a while once they reach 42 some thing there gone for ever .

and that's as follows

Hash Rate (KH/s):75 MH or 300  nad my top speeds are 110 MH which spike close to 120 then drop .
Power Cost ($/kWh): my power cost atm  is .09
I won't post my power use age imo  its stupid high why i want a few of these .I'm even having a 220 single line put in just for mining to morrow. then in a few month have another wired in i know some one that does it for me for free i need parts and work on his pC as needed.

If you are mining 42coin and you add 2Gh/s to the network (20 units @ 100Mh/s each), then the difficulty will go sky high -- making it more difficulty and even less profitable to mine.

So I don't see how a large # of these can increase your ROI -- unless you are doing something very very strategic - particularly trying to take down a coin or mine the heck out of a new coin.  You would also need to do some DDOS attacks on particular pools at the same time.

Been mining it for a few  month now my bad I know what your saying maybe i should have kept that kind  of a secret, I'm guessing but i have no plans on adding that much, as for ROI in really don't care this more fun then any thing .  but i do want at least four of these for now. i was just using that as a example he must of put some thing in wrong or as you said plans on  being band from a few sites for doing DDOS attacks. and he really doesn't say  at what speeds or coin. Smiley .

but right now i make with my speeds or with what i have in miner in 42s = in BTC .02 to .03 btc a day depends on how the trade up with Cryptsy is . which jumps from four to 6 btc a few times a week .

don't beve me just watch it and go mine these on hash to coin it the most stable site Ive found so far for 42 . and all the above was ,was a example.

dude I never said i was getting 20 of them, i never said i was looking for ROI , i never said i really give a rats ass about ROI.

Time for me to back off  Smiley ...

you don't mine litecoin, but the most profitable one at worst it may take two months no more

Curious -- so what coin would you mine?  A typical multi pool won't give you that fast of a return.

With 400Mh/s -- I'm lucky if I can make 0.15 BTC a day (although I'm having a couple of really good days right now with Songcoin).

If you pay electricity, PSU and $450 for a 100Mh/s unit -- I guess 2 months is possible -- given BTC is around $350.

I'll be absolutely shocked if these miners see the light of day in the hands of consumers before their ROI time goes rotten.

I just wish they would appear within the next 30 days.  Or there was some official news from Hashra.  It almost makes me think they are waiting for BTC to go up in value before they move forward.  Perhaps they are out of money.

ROI is very hard to calculate when you are mining so many different alt-coins.  I think it honestly depends on how much research you do regarding new coins, new pools, etc.  If you don't have the time and just want to point it at one multi-pool (in auto-pilot) then don't expect a good ROI - if ever.

Anyway, I was hoping the reseller would make an announcement regarding the status of the units.  If these aren't released to the general public, then I'm not sure what the future of alt-coin mining will look like.  The A2 Terminator units are getting scarce on Ebay.  People are holding onto their most efficient miners and not selling.  I'm definitely not selling mine and will continue to look for A2 Terminator rigs until there is something better available.

"We will try to introduce more advanced miners and MHS contracts in the coming New Year for more of your profits." - Zeushash
Source: Cryptomining-blog.com

Don't know if this development is related to Hashra Astrominer. Anyway it's something to hope for and speculate for altcoin mining.

The only thing that continues to give me hope is the fact that people who have requested a refund have reported them have indeed received it.

Its now 2:30pm in the UK, so 8 more hours till Jan 1st, 2015 in the UK.

Well the thing about Zeushash indicating more advanced miners means nothing -- they are a Ponzi-Mining company.  You can say anything -- but I sincerely doubt they have any real hardware.

On refunds from Hashra -- so there are people receiving refunds from Hashra?  They do speak?  Are people receiving it via bank wire?  Are any of them on here to confirm this?

On mining 42 coin -- yeah I agree this is a good coin to mine, as the value does fluctuate from 5 to 6 and sometimes higher if you hold them long enough.

I made a ton on Songcoin over the last 2 days.

If the Hashra Astros were available now -- I'd buy 10 to 20 of them -- if I knew they would deliver and they worked.  But I'm not seeing any indication of anything.  Perhaps it is a big secret for those who get them.  LOL

Finally -- Hash-to-Coin is the best and most stable alt coin pool out there -- everyone should check them out.  They have a ton of coins and a lot of hash behind them.  I've tried all of the pools -- this one delivers.  Not the prettiest, but it works extremely well.

Like I said, a few. So I'm holding on to a thread of hope. If not, I'll guess I"ll order some G-Blacks, of course that depends on how long it takes to get my refund back.

I wish the prices would come down on the A2Megas, had the 110 Mh/s version and it worked great (after the PS was replaced)...If this product ever is released, I can see the A2s price dropping really fast.

For the longest time, I had issue after issue with my Thunder-x3, turns out I was using split PCI-E cables for two blades.
I really want one of those A2's as well, but the price is not dropping at all. If it was at the $500 range, I would buy one.

Sadly as of right now, I am selling my Thunder-x3, but will keep running my G-Black and Black Widow for a bit longer. With the huge dump in scrypt coin value, I'm not completely at a loss with ROI but I'm holding out for a 3+ year investment strategy.

This Astro was suppose to be my savior but I'm becoming more doubtful everyday. I was going to use this to replace all my equipment. 2x my current hashrate and 66% less electricity.

A2 will drop a lot so may the titans that's why we need some thing like this to  come out , so the other vendor etc can see how profitable selling hardware to miner still is etc etc .. i hate cloud mining would rather have the hardware in my home . i can see it and use it how want to, when i want to , do  what I want to it etc etc .....

I'm about to sell a Zeus Tx3 on eBay  it holds it own but uses way to much power for what it does . the other Zeus's  i have atm are ok i mean they are not to bad on power and actually work well but soon even those won't be worth it . i have a not so bad price per KW on power at 0.0919 per kw it evens out.

nice deal there  .sadly these comes with no PSU or PI according whats posted on life forces site.

and the front page.

The new units do not come with a Rasberry Pi, usb cable or Pi power supply or PSU - you must purchase them locally. A Pi image will be available for downloading prior to deliver as will a special version of CGminer for Windows and *nix system.

Ok - so has anyone gotten a refund from Hashra that ordered in November or December??

I see the refund for one guy that ordered and was promised in October -- that was going as a fraud case.

But I haven't seen anyone asking for a refund that ordered in November or December…

I would like to know wtf they mean by More advanced miners to , I subed to one of there news letter i get from time to time . they claim to have 70 K in users  doing cloud mining atm . which I  find hard to beve becasue  every one i know that's into mining is like me, would rather have the hardware and  hate cloud mining. I guess the only reason they have that many was from refunds and no hard ware to be had .

I have to add about Zeus if they don't make there hardware any more as they claim on there site who does ? and  why can't we buy direct from them ? then  say go fdskjlf; your self Zeus ? Smiley .

those thing should break even in one months, based on the calculator, dunno if coinwarz is correct

not bad at all for an asic scrypt

Hmm - not seeing where these will break even in one month.  You have to pay for electricity, a PSU and a controller (or a spare PC).

A simple calculation using LTC (which is not what you want to mine) -- would show a break even point of 168 days (if you are adding $50 for a PSU -- total cost of $500) and your electricity is 11 cents per kw.  If you take a coin that performs 200% of LTC -- which doesn't really exist all the time -- that would cut the time in half.

Maybe 3 months if you mine the right coins?

you don't mine litecoin, but the most profitable one at worst it may take two months no more

yup i would say 2 month mini 4 month tops but at what speeds or what coin you  really didn't say . but my point was directed more at hdmediaservices not as a  personal attack im not that way but just as a  example .

yeah don't worry, it wasn't a personal attack for me , Cheesy

when i said 1 month, i just based it on the calculator on coinwarz, but we know coinwarz tell bullshit often

It is a full ponzi scheme.  I bet 99% of the "cloud" mining setups are fake.  It doesn't make any sense.

People will believe anything with nothing to back it up (photos, physical location, phone #, etc).

So where is "LifeForcePools" with any information?  This is his deal...

He logged on today and responded in another topic about LTCGear -- yet another Ponzi-Mining scheme that is collapsing.

Perhaps you can follow up with some specifics on the details of the Ponzi scheme. I've ordered some units, so I have an interest in the situation. How do you make an investment in this scheme? What is the name of the company where the suckers send their money? What is the advertised return on the investment? What are the names of the early investors that have been paid off with the deposits of later investors? You have something to back up your claims, right? Some photos of documents, names of paid off investors, something?... Do you even know who Ponzi is without looking it up?
Here's a link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponzi_scheme       to help you out.

Since I'm not a person that will believe anything with nothing to back it up, I'm waiting for you to present some evidence.

I will give you 2 points though, for your ability to write in complete sentences, something I find sadly lacking in the internet community.

regards,
David

I guess those refunds should be rolling out to everyone from Hashra since December 31st has passed and they have not shipped.

Anyone getting them?

I PM'ed Lifeforcepools (OP of this thread) yesterday asking if he had any updates. He has been online since my PM but hasn't responded, although I imagine he probably has a lot of PM's to answer. Lifeforcepools, could you please pass along any information you might have? Even if it is just to say that you haven't heard anything, a response is greatly appreciated.

I've been watching this thread and have been interested in getting a scrypt or sha256 asic miner after running a few GPU rigs.  Talk about a let down.  This is the type of stuff that casts shadows in the cryptocoin world and only hurts the value for everyone.  hope these guys can make up for their failure to deliver.

I think most of us are very patient if real updates are given and they are truthful.  I mean if you can't meet a deadline, then just own up to it and say why.  Most people will be ok with that.  But when you say nothing and deadlines pass -- then it looks very very deceitful.  Bummer.

* Astro - 100 MH/s
* Astro - Warp2 - 200 MH/s
* Astro - Warp3 - 300 MH/s
* Astro Bumblebee - 500 MH/s
* Astro Optimus Prime - 1,000 MH/s (1 GH/s)
* Astro Megatron - 2,500 MH/s (2.5 GH/s)

I want the miner . so ill wait and hope,  i don't have to  hell make good I'm sure i made another buy from him he refunded with in hours .

i think I said above why hes in the US and lives kind of close to me, i don't know him personally never meet him. that said i bought it off him becasue it was done with PayPal and were he lives i don't do any kind of non us per orders or buys , I got screwed one time doing a over seas per buy not bit coin related . and so far PayPal has made good on any thing i bought thu them that went bad.

and above all i won't pay with bit coins unless its shipped that same day for reason we all know .

i will either use PayPal or a credit card rather it was a CC, i get faster results. that's why you will Polly never see me complain about any bad buys, i can take care of it, so no need to complain Smiley .

atm  im not complaining just wish now they would ship them or come here and tell us whats up so i know what action i can expect or need to follow. and my complaint if you want to call it that is  directed at the vendor and not the re-seller. So gets off you ass plz and get the show on the road in one form or the other. NO excuses.

and order date was about the time I saw no L1 were gonna happen like the 1st of  DEC i knew then they were concealed  but hoped other wise and did not  say much that was't like bit main to not have them shipped before the due date they follow thu .

on Paypal from what i saw its a 180 days  Smiley: ..

I know this has been pointed out before,
but people should take a good look at how the last project ended that lifeforcepools and Xircom pushed: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=485237.380
Over the course of the whole sad story the same promises were made and the same stalling-tactics were used.
In the MAT-case hundreds of people lost their investment, averaging around $7k per person.
This project might be targeting a different pricepoint, but the pattern that shows in the development of this thread is just too familiar.

My advice: if you payed using paypal or something similar that has a buyers protection period, DO NOT LET IT PASS!
Recall your payment and get your money back if they do not deliver in the timeframe advertised.

According to the LifeForce website - you can't - but I guess it doesn't hurt to ask.  Maybe there will be an official announcement on Monday regarding all of this?

I tried asking him (lifeforcepools) if he had any updates at all from hashra. I specifically said that I know that his site specifies jan 19th shipping at the latest, but since hashra promised end of December, I was trying to see if he had any updates from him. All I got for a response was "As ive stated before..shipment before the 19th of January". I'm not trying to post any slander or anything, just stating that I actually got a response although it clearly didn't answer what I was asking. Perhaps he has gotten an update from hashra and just doesn't want to pass the info. I don't know.

Now I'm starting to speculate, I feel so dirty.

The fact that there are no official comments in thread for a while shows a lot.   I asked for proof anything besides a rendering.   With no parts, chips, etc shown I don't think there is a chance it ships anytime soon.

I really wanted to believe (as I want a new scrypt machine) but I'm afraid on this one you will not see the product anytime soon.

You and I both.  You need to realize all the other players (companies) with next gen scrypt asics
have all pulled out for reasons unknown.  Gaw, Zeus and the like.  Either due to increasing difficulty and timing of release
or the cost to produce.  I like to believe the latter since most companies know they can no longer sell these for whatever they want.

Maybe it's time for a new rule on these forums if it's not place now if it is they need to in force it no more per order post you can  post it for sell  if you have it for sell and ready to ship and talk about it coming. if you want investor find an other way.

Just got an email back from Simon

Quote
Hi Jeremy

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

We are due to ship out next week, behind schedule I'm afraid.
I am very sorry for this.

We will be in touch as soon as we can regarding tracking details.

Kind regards

Simon

I'll guess I'll hold on hope for a little longer. I did ask him to post information on his website.

any shipping  details yet or maybe i should ask later in the week  Smiley . like Tuesday or Wednesday ?.

I'm emailing him on Wednesday, and if there is another delay, I'm pulling out.

Sense you ordered direct I'm out to on Wednesday if it gets delayed in any way.

I'll be asking for a refund.

There's really not that much traffic here to discern anything.  Is this legitimate equipment?  I'm really interested but I can't touch it if it's not even going to ship.

Seems like there would be more posts from people that have info on the shipping.  Did anyone actually test these?  Where are the reviews?

emailed lifeforce this morning, response as mentioned here already was shipping next week. I then questioned if he has seen a machine or a manufacturing facility and his response was NO. He did mention the he purchased items from "Simon" in the past and all were delivered. So in short the answers are evasive and he either knows the product does not actually exist or he is blind like the rest of us and has no real new info from hashra.

I only mentioned it as odd since you've been posting on this forum every day this week in other topics.

Wow, your employer is an asshole.  Seriously, they are one of the 13% of employers that don't offer paid leave for jury duty.  "However, according to the Employee Benefits Survey conducted by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), 87 percent of employers in the U.S. offered paid leave for jury duty." - See more at: http://employment.findlaw.com/wages-and-benefits/jury-duty-and-an-employee-s-right-to-pay.html#sthash.lqjdAgC8.dpuf

Your position must be highly specialized if nobody else is able to do it while you are at jury duty.  A position that important probably demands a lot of time and attention...so why are you dicking around with miners?

State Law requires paid leave...

I work in a very small firm where I have a vested interest in making sure that all systems stay running because if they don't no one gets paid - it's real simple and I don't mind at all since I love what I do - I think big companies suck and would never work for one - regardless of the bennies

your right Maryland had to  when I worked if you had paid leave coming they have to pay it . I had to do it a few times in Maryland when i was working . if you work in Maryland you said to live close to Delaware, if i remember right , so you may not work in Maryland but that is a Maryland Law . They don't have to pay for Jury time  thu but you should get like 5 to 10 dollars a day for or more now i had to do it once I hated it from the state , i think they should pay more after making you show up etc . and working for a big company's sux I worked for the state kind of, before i became disabled once i became disabled they found ways to screw me over but i fought it won some form of pay meant for a while till SS kicked in, they weren't gonna pay any thing at first. That's was with a big company.

grand jury in MD pay is $20 to show up first day - selected or not
23 ppl on grand jury panel and I was 2nd to last picked - ARGGH!

12 must be in the room to vote up or down to indict.

$50/day pay on successive days.

In Maryland every Criminal case must go before  Grand Jury - even if you plead guilty before trail or any plea deal - it's a requirement to keep over zealous police and prosecutors from running amok.

i know this off topic cool nice to know now no matter what they have to back then you had ask for it.

cool well

good hear about the miner , i hope it's true .  i trust you but don't trust them . they really don't have to follow any US laws can do whatever Pleases them to some extent, that's why they come to places like these forums and ask for inverter instead of doing it the right way. This way they don't have to answer to anyone and petty much steal it at will.

Unfortunately the signs just aren't good overall - which is sad.

1.  No one is getting refunds from Hashra (from way back in October and on)

2.  No unit from Hashra has shipped

3.  No offense, but LifeforcePools (the one reselling in the US) -- waited at least 3 days before telling everyone what "Simon" supposedly said over the weekend -- that the units would ship end of week.

This I don't get - and you obviously did have time on Monday to post the update (because your history on here shows posts in other topics Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning).  Instead you said you had jury duty this week - but you still had time to post and complain about LTCGear not paying you - LOL.  One would think that an update would be the first thing you would post on your topic / store.

So this indicates that you are either losing faith with Hashra yourself or you are just trying to buy time (in hopes to save yourself).  I don't think you are trying to de-fraud others -- you aren't that type.  But if you've sent money to Hashra -- then you could really get in a bind to say the least.

4.  There are no drawings, videos, nothing regarding these Astros.

5.  Hashra is already in a boat load of trouble for fraud (if you check out other forums).

6.  BTC and LTC have taken a huge hit.

I think it is time for LifeforcePools to just tell it how it is - why the 3 day delay in revealing the supposed "over the weekend" communication from "Simon."

I say this because you don't want to lose credibility with your pools and your new innovative product being released.

Honestly I don't even know how Hashra can build a unit like this and ship it for free around the US for $450.  They just use chips / components from other manufacturers.  There's really no new technology here (as the A2 Terminators can hash out 100Mh/s at about 700 watts or so if the room is cold).  And the shipping alone has to be $75.00.

I guess it is what they say -- if sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

For those that ordered on the 1st batch - PLEASE check with your credit card company to see exactly how long you have to dispute a charge.

I sure hope I am wrong on all of this, for the sake of the community, my fellow miners and Scrypt mining in general.

here's the way it is....

Simon told me on Saturday that the unit will start shipping "this coming week"

that's all I know - it's as simple as that.

read into it what you will but that's the bottom line.

this aint the only thing going on in my life - whether that's sits well with you or not...

I do not like your accusatorial tone at all and frankly I'm fucking tired of it.

Your money has just been refunded and do not place another order because it won't be accepted.

If you want a Hashra unit then you can order from Simon...good luck pal because I'm a helluva lot more responsive than he ever is.

I am simply a guy trying to do my best in a situation I have little control over and that apparently is simply not good enough for you.

have a nice day.

and if anyone else wants a refund no problem at all and it's never been a problem.

Stop cryin over chicken chips yeh all.
Your choices of buying have been fcked up by Zuesminers valconeo withdraw etc. & L1's the list goes on, slender pickings for all.
Old bitches go back to the forum pages you have left dormant and spread yeh shit there!
A lot of you peeps probably haven't even purchased through the shop linked to this forum.
Your type bashin a bloke who has only been trying to better help miners in general plus himself and his hip pocket, don't forget we a all human and need to make a living. ( dont come back with hobby and fun - Bullshit, you only invest what you can afford to loose worst case scenario! This is not a fckin game).
P.S. this reseller has statements regarding refunds and eeven let you buy through paypal, where do you get that fuckin choice?

We all have differing levels of risk "before i crap on some more I am in for 18 atro 3's" and sweating on deliver to data center for contracted 12k as well.
Way back when all suppliers were ceasing production we were all looking for alternatives and bitchin ( me personally i got fucked over by zoomhash reseller and Zuesminer pulling geniii cards, all the makers just about fucked all of us over and broke all and any of their web page promises  and shit!) and we all got and been sold used miners- dust bullsit was a con. There all guilty of one thing or another.

My discussions in my choosen mining pool with fellow miners through our shout box along with our personal searches, and price being a big factor drove us to Hashra,
We are where we are get over it. Move on and if your sic of livin get on with it then.

I forgot all the cloud mining cons to boot as well!

I got an E-mail from Simon as well, since I have a contract with Hashra saying that I (My company) could ask for a refund ($ 15.000)  if miners was not delivered latest 24th December.
Simon has answered me 2 times after Christmas, one, that confirms what Lifeforce is saying and one re. the PI image needed for the miners.
I will ask him again today to give proof or I will ask for refund.
If someone is to blame here, its Simon, his is sitting on a gold egg and messes things up.
Its quite understandable why Bitmain and Zeus stopped their Volcano and L1 (They did not), they didnt wanted to compete on hashrate against them self.... Pretty easy to understand... like KNC did.

In a very short time if no new ASIC companies is starting up, the NON centralized idea of Crypto is going to be centralized.............

here's the way it is....

Yeah - we all have something else going on in our lives.  I have a newborn in the N-ICU - but I still manage to deal with business in a professional way.

If no one else sees someone waiting 3 days to give people an update odd then well - I dunno - maybe Psychology 101 should be retaken.  I'll leave it at that and keep my fingers crossed for everyone that purchased a unit.

There are a lot of angry angry people on this forum - and a lot of people that will believe anything (including all of the Ponzi Mining schemes - lol).  I guess it is because there are more scams and vaporware than there are real products these days.

Good luck.

if you want to say something constructive fine - but you don't have any skin in the game and you are not a customer of mine.

if you wanna be a troll start your own thread to bash.
