So basically we have to pay 0.1 to get the card going, and 0.02 to keep it going each month? That way, the card will cost 0.34 in the first year, right?
0.05 BTC is the card issuance fee which will be waived if you are part of the signature campaign and/or complete basic verification before April 1! 0.05 BTC is the card activation fee. So you can get the card for only 0.05 BTC (activation fee) and then 0.02 BTC a month. 0.29 BTC in a year which is incredibly low considering what it is and what it means (a debit card you can use anywhere with your BTC/LTC balance)! Didn't know it would also be free for folks on the signature campaign So, the card issuance fee includes the issuance and the shipping? Anyways, I think this card is a great idea... Just not 100% convinced to use it as of yet As I've said in the other thread, I'll wait for the terms and conditions and then I'll decide. But yes, this card means quite a lot, that I have to agree. The issuance fee (0.05 BTC) is waived if you are part of the signature campaign and/or complete basic verification before April 1! Regular shipping is free for all cards ordered. All you would be required to pay would be the activation fee of 0.05 BTC. Ok, thank you

There are some issues regarding numbers for Dominican Republic. It only gives 809 as an option while 809, 849, 829 belongs to Dominican Republic and should be available so people could register with those...

Also, when will you start shipping the cards??? Being verified gives any other benefits rather than just getting the card for free??? I mean are any more fees waived or they will be same for all??? Sorry for asking too much, but I need to know before ordering one...

I've been searching and learning about the Bit-x card and about the competition cards... I've read official websites and FAQ's so far. I like what Bit-x is doing here (the exchange, the card and the signature program), but so far the competition seems a bit better than Bit-x, in what concerns these cards... Some of the competition doesn't charge monthly fee. I am basically posting this to know what could convince me to opt for the Bit-x card Unfortunately the Bit-x card seems more costly, but there might be an advantage I'm missing here, and I'd like to give Bit-x a chance Besides this, Bit-x card is MasterCard... Places accepting Visa are more common than MasterCard, as far as I've heard. Would a MasterCard card work on Visa terminals? Or it has to support both cards? I seriously don't know this, as I've only worked with Visa cards

NEW For the first 10,000 cards sold (users) there is no monthly fee! (The inactive fee remains). This fee removal combined with verification before April 1 will allow many users to get a free card! I'll reply to everyone as soon as possible.

I would like to suggest you guys to please either waive the withdrawal fees completely or put it down to some reasonable amount as BTC0.02 which means $5 per withdrawal is a lot according to me... I hope most of the members who will issue the card, will surely agree on this with me, as MasterCard is itself charging 3% per withdrawal...
EDIT: Plus, we will be charged with 2.5% forex fee as we won't be getting USD/EUR/GBP as I am from India... Which means the fee itself totals to >5%, and I don't think it's a reasonable fee tbh ATM...

Sorry for asking too much, but I need to know before ordering one... You can grab the card from bit-x representatives (for example me) or by expressing your interest to card@bit-x.comShipping has started, just express your interest and you will be guided through the ordering process. If you are verified, your limits are much higher (even unlimited in some cases) than with no verification. If you were verified before April 1 or were part of the signature campaign and you order the card you won't be charged the 0.05 BTC issuance fee. Please visit https://card.bit-x.com for more information. Sweet. So, currently, if we order the card, the only thing we'll have to pay is the 0.05 BTC activation fee, correct? When will the monthly fee come back for the first 10k users, or is it permanent?

The monthly fee has been waived for all of the first 10,000 users to get the card! 5% total is actually a fairly low fee when you think about it. On exchanges you'd be subject to other fees too and here you have the simplicity of having your own debit card! I'll pass your thoughts onto the team nonetheless.

I seriously don't know this, as I've only worked with Visa cards Well first of all the entire platform is licensed! The monthly fee has been removed for the first 10,000 users which is enormous. Visa may be slightly more popular than MasterCard but this is not a noticeable issue at all, the majority of retailers especially the larger ones accept MasterCard!

Ok, we might consider that 5% total fees would be fine, but what about BTC0.02 per withdrawal??? It increases the total fee based on the amount of withdrawal... So, at least please ask them to look into it...
