i'll copy past here, my little suggestion

i was thinking that you should add a really cool faucet to attract more investiors, something that work with level, each level is equivalent to 100gh/s of hashpower

they start with free earning from the faucet, let's say the standard 1k every hour, then if they want to invest on the 100gh/s to raise the level of their miner(add a cool graphic that display an initial miner with level 1 then 2 ecc....)

they need to pay something like 0.16 or what is the current rate

So a faucet integrated in Bit-X? I'll pass it onto the team but doesn't seem like something they'd add.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

With the 0% trading comission, how are you going to make any money? You are offering so many free things like the debit cards, and now trading commissions, there has to be some kind of catch here?

The offer is valid until September. It's not forever. Other fees still apply.

Though, it's a good news that trading will be free, at least they considered 0'ing their fee on something... Wink

anybody else getting a cloudflare error when trying to go to balance page?

everything else in the site loads, except for balance. this started to happen after i made a withdraw.

UPDATE: balances still doesn't work all the time, it opens like 2 out 10 tries. The withdraw is still not approved and it's been 3 hours since i requested it, this sucks!

You dont need to. The site is coming fine. I dont think the scam will wind up so early. They are heavily invested in their ad. So they need to suck up more. Just quoting another user for reference...

I am declaring Bit-X as a total scam that is going to make Mount Gox look like a tiny stone inside my shoe. The reason for this is that some time ago there was this link on their page http://www.belizecompany.com/ indicating that they are registered with a license and they have quoted it many times on this thread as well. Now I noticed that this has changed to “Registered office: Portland House, Bressenden Place, London, SW1E 5RS, United Kingdom” Interesting, I phoned the numbers they provide and this leads me to a shared office, the people of this shared office don’t even know what Bit-X or even Bitcoins are? I smell a dead rat.

I have and it works perfectly. If you ask me, they are legitimate. As with any service, anything could happen at anytime so please do your own research before trusting my word!

Did you read my response to that user? I explained that he dialled the wrong numbers.

Here it is again in case you'd like to read it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=874312.msg11453581#msg11453581

So no more credit/debit card deposits to buy bitcoins?

At the moment, no. They will return as soon as possible.

IMO, accepting credit card is very risky for bitcoin sellers.

Now the balances page is ok, so it is resolved. The withdraw also got confirmed and got the btc in the receiving address, BUT it took 3 hours, almost 4, which to me is unacceptable, given that even low volume exchanges process withdrawals almost instantly.

Too bad, i used bit-x  for months and was very  pleased, but for the last month all withdraws took forever to get sent.

Will let the team know. I believe that instant withdrawals and transfers are in the works, as well as reduced withdrawal fees.

I don't get your hate on bit-x, i used bit-x from January and until now i didn't have any issue with them. It's only that in the last month the problems with withdraws times started to happen, and i guess that's due to some upgrade they did which broke some things, so the issues are technical and not ponzi/scam or whatever you are calling them.

I did both trading and mining and have been very pleased. What i wrote in my first post was to see if the issue impacts more users, or just me. No need to cry wolf each time there is an issue.

It might be more productive to trade and/or mine on bit-x than accusing it without even trying the service. If this doesn't appeal to you, then maybe you should focus on service providers which give you whatever it is that makes you confident to do business with them.

I have yet to see someone have real accusations against bit-x, just the regular "show me the mining address" guys

Free trade till September 2015 even means that Bit-X card can be activated without any hell fees? I have a card but don't want to pay 0.05 just for activation.
