Vrontis has a copy of the wallet design Smiley

Totally awesome!  Honestly can't wait to see what you've done with Qora client.  Wink

I, for one, am tired with the old plain wallet design.  Thanks so much for doing this for Qora!  Grin

Thank you all

I heard from hitBTC today. They are passing my request to add Qora on to their "business development department" and I'm waiting to hear back from them.

So, a pretty useless update on my part ... but, it's better than no update.  Wink

Good news nonetheless!  Grin

BTW, they actually added Qora to the voting page -- https://hitbtc.com/vote  And Qora currently has 77 votes...

Does that mean it was already there before you contacted them?  Smiley

In any case, I'm gonna vote for Qora.  And I suggest everyone does the same.

Keep up the good work and a BIG thanks from a qora fan  Grin

PS: Just realized you don't really need an account to vote on hitBTC, just click Vote next to the name  Wink

Dear members,

You can all hold your QORA tight, or release Qora for bounties, so the project will grow rapidly.
The chance is much bigger when you donate your QORA, that the price will go up, and so your remaining QORA is profitable Wink

In order for QORA to become huge, we have to pay people who are working on this project.

So please people and WHALES

Donate QORA TO: QLmoXVW6GTLcWVpaiDr5brg9CeiFvTCiJo

Thank you kindly!!! Its for your own and community's good!!

Yeah apparently it was already there if it has that many votes. Cool, then we're way ahead of where I thought we were.

Never even thought to check before I emailed them, I will start doing that first.  Wink

Just saw this ... https://hitbtc.com/mm

Quote
We add a new coin to the exchange if two persons take MM contracts to support this coin on our exchange. One contract is valid only for one currency pair, and a market maker is eligible to take only one contract of each category.

Some of you market makers interested?

Nice! We're already at 92 votes!

BTW, here's something I just noticed on top of voting page  --

If you are signed-in into your HitBTC account, your vote will be multiplied by 10. Also please note you can cast only one vote.
https://hitbtc.com/vote

So please don't forget to sign in to your hitBTC before you cast your vote, guys, it counts 10x  Smiley

BTW, it looks like if we can get two persons to take MM contracts for Qora, then we can get listed on hitBTC instantly. It's probably the easiest way to get listed on hitBTC.

I'll try getting Qora on Allcrypt once the new wallet is out.

Their requirements for adding new coins leads me to believe that would be best.

I've used them once before, no issues, but otherwise don't know much about the exchange. They're pretty small it appears, so if anyone knows a reason why (security?) I shouldn't pursue them, please speak now.

FWIW, this blog post of theirs was humorous.

We've just reached 102 votes on HitBTC! Woohoo!  Cheesy  Keep the votes coming, guys.  Wink

Well, I've never used Allcrypt personally, and the info on their website is scant at best..

I noticed that the only address on their website is an P.O. box in Maryland, and the WHOIS info does not reveal much either. I think in this day and age, it's kinda hard to trust a site with little to no track record, don't you think?  Wink

I also found this troubling message from a Hero member here on bitcointalk (I cannot tell how reliable this person or the claim is):

Don't trade on allcrypt.com, this is a scam site. my friend sent PND to me, Mintpal doesn't support internal transaction. So I chose allscrypt online address, finally they deleted my account and I wanna hacked them, my PND is lost, so ridiculous. Angry

Aside from some of the negative comments, the low volume kinda worries me.  Tongue

I think the basic rule when it comes to exchanges is probably - the more the merrier.  So we should not rule out any option. However, to ensure the safety of Qora and our members, I think we should probably pursue sites with more volumes or known developers first (we've already encountered two problematic sites - BTER and ShareX).  After we get on more sites, we can pick at least 2 primary trading sites, and we'll keep the rest as fail-safe.  Smiley

What do you think of Alcurex.org?  Smiley   They're based in Finland and seem legit.  Do you think it's something we should pursue?

PS: Don't forget we're already on Poloniex and it's only a matter of time before we get back on it (speaking of which, someone should probably get in touch with them if haven't).

Re Alcurex.org, when Bter went down, they worked with the Node community to get them listed.  Their volume is low, but it is slowly increasing.  If we help them, they could help us.

Also, has anyone reached out to cryptsy?  All of my funds are tied but if we can get them to commit to adding Qora if a certain amount of BTC is added to their vote address, I'll try to donate at least 1 BTC to that cause.

However, I'm not sending a single satoshi to that blackhole, unless they are willing tp verbally commit to adding the coin if certain goals are met.

A Personal Quote on BTT from 2011:
"I'd be willing to make a moderate "investment" if the value of the BTC went below $2.00.  Otherwise I'll just have to live with my 5 BTC and be happy. :/"  ...sigh.  If only I knew.

They've been around for a while, that's all I know and yes, the more the merrier ... just don't leave coins anywhere longer than required ... oh wait, I left coins on BTer for 20 minutes and got screwed.  Undecided

Will look into it.

I referred them to the post relating to the proposed fix. I was told they had no update on when it would be fixed. Maybe someone else has more info (I hope!).

Hey guys,

I just noticed that Qora is already on Cryptsy's voting list!  Shocked Shocked Shocked

We've already got 1967 Votes, and we're one of the frontrunners! How surprising!!!  Shocked  How come no one ever told us about it?

Check it out here:

https://www.cryptsy.com/coinvotes/

According to the rules, Paid votes can be submitted using either BTC or CryptsyPoints. To vote with BTC, simply send BTC to the deposit address listed next to the coin(s) you wish to support. Every 0.0002 BTC sent to the respective address received will count for 1 vote. You can click on the address link next to any coin to view payment votes cast using BTC, which are posted after getting 2 or more confirmations.

Okay, so I've got some CryptsyPoints left. I'm gonna vote it up with all my points.

Everyone please helps out with your points/BTC (or cast a free vote) as well.

Thanks!

PS: Turned out I've only got 0.299 CryptsyPoints left. So not even enough for 5 votes.. How embarassing.  Lips sealed Cry Cry Tongue  So I cast my only free vote on Qora..

Okay, I have a story to share --

Sometimes last year (shortly after Qora's launch and after Agran set up his chatroom), a guy named "BigVern" came to our chatroom and left a message asking to talk with Qora dev.

If you check the chatroom logs, you should see him there.

Rumor has that he was the same guy as the Cryptsy operator, but I can't be sure of it...  And I guess after Qora got on Polo and BTER, no one bothered to do a follow-up.

So there is a good chance BigVern was interested in Qora from beginning.

PS: Contacting BigVern.. .Will post update if I get a reply!

EDIT: I just sent out a message to BigVern here on bitcointalk.  Will keep you guys posted if I hear anything from him.  Wink
