Hi qora, I'd just like to say that it's great to hear from you again! From one Qora fan - I really appreciate what you've done with Qora so far, and I'm really sorry to hear that cryptos has affected your life in such a negative way. Like Pondsea said, real life comes first. I'm glad you decided to take some time off and get things sorted out in the real life. Hope everything will work out for the best Also, I noticed that you haven't even touched the IPO money (why why why? ) Why not cash it out and take this opportunity to treat yourself to a nice vacation? You definitely deserve it! In any case, a BIG THANK YOU for releasing the full source of Qora and for everything you've done for Qora. Wish you the best & hope you will be back soon!

I just came across this post from Charlie Shrem. Apparently hitBTC might not be such a good idea. The post was made 10 months ago and their still around, but still. Thanks, Tuck. Safety of our funds should be our foremost concern in this day and age, so hitBTC is probably not a good fit then. Did you have any luck getting in touch with any exchange operator? I tried BigVern, but so far.. Zilch! I think those exchange guys are being arrogant. Do you think we will have a better chance getting on new exchanges after the marketing team (ahmed & twisty) finish with the website? Would it make more sense if we wait until then? What do you think?

The ACCT use case is "trustless" between two blockchains that use AT (in the future this will also apply to the CIYAM platform itself which is going to be a new platform).
So in short - yes - you don't need a 3rd party or a website when you can use ACCT (to find the trades might need a little bit of UI work though).
Sorry Ian, what it means "trustless" ? unsafe?

Qora.org The website made by Qora itself and it is based on dzarmush's design. This website is now live at http://www.qora.org/

Did you have any luck getting in touch with any exchange operator?
ShapeShift.io ( Erik Voorhees baby) replied they'd consider Qora a while back. All other exchanges relied on voting or a market maker account. Do you think we will have a better chance getting on new exchanges after the marketing team (ahmed & twisty) finish with the website? Would it make more sense if we wait until then? What do you think?
Can't hurt and it never hurts to ask again.

Give me you qora address, I will give you 3m qora for you. I wish you can extend more about qora.
Hi eli_lyd1, Thanks so much for your support and kind gesture, but it's totally not necessary. I'm just doing whatever I can to support the project in my spare time, and I don't expect to get compensated for doing it. If anyone likes my stuff and want to use it, then I'm happy. That's all it matters.. For now, I think we should conserve our resource and only donate toward worthy causes (we might need to set up funds later on to get teams on board.. for instance). A quick update on what I've been doing -- I've been playing with Qora's source code since the GUI source was made available by qora. I've cloned and imported the source using eClipse and made a few changes to the source. 1. Initially, Qora was made to work with JDK 7.0. I've upgraded Qora to use JDK 8.0 and it requires a few changes to the source. 2. I'm trying to update MapDB version as suggested by kushti and DeMap. 3. Just playing around with the source (with GUI in particular) and see how everything works. 4. I'd like to create a custom Wallet with built-in Arbitrary Transaction demo application. Anyways.. just tinkering for now.. Has anyone managed to compile the source and successfully created a working JAR yet? Quick Update: I've managed to compile a new version of Qora wallet with new database engine & latest JRE.. See my post below - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=881230.msg10789056#msg10789056In case anyone is curious, GUI source is available here: https://github.com/Qora/Qora/tree/master/Qora/src/gui

Have you read eli_lyd1's post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=881230.msg10778611#msg10778611Coinport has got lots of good reviews (from coindesk.. etc) and is totally professional.. I absolutely love the idea of having Qora on there! Really looking forward to having Qora listed on Coinport. Now the site's back up, would you like to try getting in touch with ShapeShift again?
