So don't worry - Qora will be the 2nd blockchain to have AT running on it (the bounty is to get AT working for Bitcoin clones).
Nicely written letter sent to halibat with link to your bounty post. I told him that he can either contact me or you if he has any question - hope you don't mind. I'll do my best to sell AT if he ever gets back to me. Thanks again for everything. PS: Thanks for the feedback regarding my fee-based service platform idea, Ian. BTW, we've got two new developers from Switzerland - scriptmastr and ca333. Really appreciate the fact that you take time to answer questions from the community. Thanks!

Glad to see the recovery of Qora project after announced main dev leaving. Community behind Qora at least is on importance and makes the things. Keep it up.
It feels like the second birth twistelaar showed me the new logo they created. Damn, it's good! Qora is gonna have the whole package soon. Great devs, great design and all.

A Personal Quote on BTT from 2011: "I'd be willing to make a moderate "investment" if the value of the BTC went below $2.00. Otherwise I'll just have to live with my 5 BTC and be happy. :/" ...sigh. If only I knew.

Sooner or later you end up with "plain rubbish" being created by untalented people and promoted by fools just so that everyone can "make a buck".

did you have any luck getting a Scripted Clone to implement AT? I tried to get FTC on board, didn't work out. Also, we funded a project a while back called Link Protocol (created by Travis Savo/Kevlar, linked below). Just in case anyone here has interest in implementing it in the future. https://github.com/tsavo/linkIt was implemented with FTC for awhile, everyone lost interest, so we tried Dogecoin which ended up being a big mistake (see reddit). It's been sitting there ever since. We felt it could serve many purposes and hate seeing it just sit unused.

The main problem is that you need *talented* devs (not copy-pasta devs although I don't know FTC at all so the comment is not aimed at them specifically).

Point taken. However, there are very talented dev's working with FTC now. It's just always been a power struggle when it comes to FTC. They're not real sure which direction they want to go and end up fracturing their userbase with every fork. They have the talent to implement AT, they just have other issues to deal with constantly right now and kind of blew me off in a slack chat when I brought it up.

It is not surprising as AT is not going to be *easy* to implement for a Bitcoin clone (that is precisely why I created the bounty).

(so in example: dual-chain)

AT is not a blockchain but a tech that can be added to any blockchain (to provide "Turing complete" txs). So the bounty is for someone to implement AT on a Bitcoin clone (Script is the Bitcoin tx language).

We are not trying to change Bitcoin Script to become Turing complete at all but instead to extend it to allow AT txs that are Turing complete themselves.

Imagine being able to exchange W coins of X type for Y coins of Z type (with no trusted 3rd party) and you begin to get the point.

what will be the benefit of this? at the moment i am not sure but i read into the ciyam-website explanations when i am home. so i think for now the benefit is: "globaly/universaly programmable compatibility". benefit is EVERYTHING is then possible. the ability for the txs-system to emulate its opposite system of any other.
