I have been using a different strategy lately. Its sort of similar to martingale but very different. I did a simulation of dice by betting at 93%, and the maximum losses I have ever got in a row at 8, with 8 being only once and mostly 7. So I have been running a bot by betting 0 satoshi or lowest amount, and wait for such a streak. And after 7 losses, I bet around 1 BTC at the odds.

I know it sounds like gamblers fallacy, but since the maximum losses in a row have been 7 or 8, I don't mind risking it on the stats I have got before. I started about a week back and have made the bet of 1 BTC 3 times till now. So its been going good till now.
huh, you sure? I just wonder how long it took till eventually you find that 8x lose in a row

I am more like banking on the fact that if I do get that 8th loss, I have the bankroll for the 9th, and I won't be afraid to put that bet in. But hasn't happened till now, so fine with it.

MArtingale with small or big will eventually fail at the end. At one point you will have a streak big enough that your bankroll won't be able to cover the bet.

try martingale on 75% chance Smiley

Martingale would fail in both cases . It will lead to a bad streak in both, at 33% you will probably hit a streak of 50, and with 75% chance to win, you will still be hitting over 18 over long term. And since you multiply bets exponentially like 3x in 75%, you will be reaching the max bet very soon.

You can not apply same strategy on every dice site. I play with 50% chance with variable betting strategy what I want to say is I change little bit according to situation. I am not in loss at all. Last day I turned free bonus of 1mbtc into 16mbtc and took withdraw.Although the sum is not much but something is better than nothing.

how many red streaks you can have using 70% chance??

using 70% chance good on risk:reward ratio? because what i know is martingale only wok on 47-50% chance its like coin flip..

If you give me "botable" values for a 70% win chance I can run a few simulations for you. I need values like below:

Code:
$prefix = "martingale22"
$numer_of_rolls_do_make = 10**9
$chance_to_win = 4950 # assumes lowest possible = 0000 and higest possible = 9999
$bankroll = 1*2**22 # how much satoshi do you start with
$basebet = 1 # in satoshi
$multiplier = 2 # if won
$increase_bet = 1.0 # percent to increase the bet, set 0 for flatbet; 1.0 for 100%

I typically run 10k simulations with up to 106 or 109 rolls each. Per simulation I store how many rolls have been made (number will be below the max if you bust), the overall profit (might still be positive in some cases even after a bust), number of rolls won, number of rolls lost, biggest streak (positive or negative number, depending on win/lost streak). The output is a .csv file.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

My dice strategy

Odd:3x
Increase on loss:80%
Start:at 4 satoshi
Bankroll at least:0.1 btc

random https://mega.co.nz/#!SkwCAIQK!d-TVuwN-adiw09vTOfgGkRgBrsUZ6zh1h9Kq2bo4pVs
hashes  https://mega.co.nz/#!K853ETyL!oD2ASRLleL-3HqQ0kL7HJqe-uwHkVE132sN7wVJu9E0

Mine is 47& chance, 2x on loss, basebet of 300 satoshi with atleast .1btc bankroll

random https://mega.co.nz/#!GoYCxZQB!fK3Xz2xUy4ddtQw_Y0ru_DOasDB7ciuRMJ5Q13uedGQ
hashes  https://mega.co.nz/#!zthCUapQ!iXbPTv0dZkoJEL_Ad8_B9D8RIJLJW8zoF3mjKesL5Xo

Make sure you copy the whole link, mega is strange in that regard.

I did run both 20,000 times, because they finished quite fast (~10 minutes per 10,000 simulations). Mainly because neither system actually makes the 109 rolls.

Edit: adding versions that are working with hashes instead of random numbers generated by the OS.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

unfortunately a lot of different strategies I've tried playing in a casino is only giving me a loss... I have nothing to tell you except simple truth - the casino wins only one person... is the owner of the casino  Sad

I tried every dice strategy I could find, but eventually had to face the truth.  My best bet was playing against other players, and not against the house.  I realized that I needed to develop my poker skills.  I still gamble a lot, but now it is when I have an advantage against another player, not when the house has one against me.  It feels much better.  If another player is better than I am, I generally avoid playing against him unless I have a deceptive hand.

It's all luck.

I remember building 1 btc into over 4 on satoshidice, oy to squander them all by hoping to repeat that string of luck.

Which is your strategy?? Let's share it  Grin

My personal strategy is:

Payout: 1.20/1.25x
On lose: 900%

Base bet 50 and stop session profit at 0.01!

I'm curios to know yours Smiley

Maybe it's the best strategy if you never tell your strategy.

So why should i believe your strategey?
Maybe you has created this thread only to find out how all the other player handle this?

Because that Luck , I prefer rolling with low chance since I'm always got bust when I use 1,1x multiplier. With a low chance, I might win big like Hui (PD) for example. But recently I'm never seen Hui win against 9900x multiplier again...
