Hello Goat, I would back up this deposit with my own money. Yes, I do have some funds in PPT bonds but this should not be a problem for any of my depositors, because my exposition to pirate is so low that even if he defaults I will be able to pay you back all your coins kindly with my own money. As a large investor and long term bitcoin supporter I have my own reserves of bitcoins. Not only that, I have also made some investments in several bitcoin projects and GLBSE securities. You might want to check them with Nefario, DeadTerra, hashking, zefir, or Philj amongst other people in this community. I have made even small investments in your TYGRR.BOND-A and TYGRR.BOND-B bonds which right now I own in excess of 1200 and 3500 respectively. If you wish and the rest of my customers agree, I could even transfer these bonds to you as a guarantee to the deposits. Folks, do you want me to put some of my assets at GLBSE in escrow with Goat to back your deposits? |

Otoh  Edit: re transferring GBLSE bonds to goat as a form of guarantee for me this is not needed or necessary as I have full faith in your integrity here from past communications & observations, if you were to do this however due to others wishing for a beginning demonstration backing your offering say, then I would recommend signing them over in escrow to a group of reputable guys like the PPT gang or someone like Nefario so that there isn't a single point of failure, I visit Thailand & whilst native goats are smart & nimble it seems like playing involuntary Russian roulette every time I try & cross a street or soi not to mention the million other ways to end up game over there abouts. Maybe if you accepted deposits down to 1btc you'd get more deposits as larger deposits are all with the Pirate and smaller deposits down to 10btc with the Hashking who has a better(well longer) reputation then you even if currently a lower interest rate. Also if you had a website people could just visit to deposit you'd also get more funds. I'm definitely for more bitcoin investment banks. Also as you say you guarantee deposits your self I take it you aren't exposed top the Pirate and this is not just another PPT.
