Hi Victor,
Thank you for the pm. I do plan to invest in the weeks to come. I, for one, would prefer some sort of public escrow, but PPT bonds wouldn't really be my first choice. (<-- misunderstanding)
Best Regards, "Bob"

The first weekly term will start in less than 16 hours. I will accept incoming deposits for the next week no later than 17:00 UTC (i.e 6 PM BST, 7 PM CET, 1 PM PST or 10 AM PDT). I have just updated the OP with the list of current deposits and the remaining availability. If you are interested, please hurry up as I will not accept deposits for this weeks beyond that limit.

This guy is a great investor and has put some cash into my mining bond. I know I'll be using his banking services with my personal funds in the future. Diversification is a good thing.

Sorry crosby, I mistakenly thought you were looking for loans instead of borrow bitcoins. Thank you for your feedback. By the way, for the rest of you guys, this is the last call to make deposits for the next week for a 2% weekly interest. I will stop accepting new deposits in less than 1.5 hours.

Hello folks,
I want to thank all the investors in my deposit and all the people that has show interest in my operation. I have just stopped accepting new deposits for next week (weekly term).
Right now I can tell you that this operation has been a total SUCCESS because of you. You have reached my limited deposit capacity originally established at 1000 BTCs. I'm sorry to say that not all investors were able to take advantage of my free-risk deposit.
For the people that hurry up and got lucky to be in, as you know first payments will be sent the next Sunday, July 1st.
Thank you all for your interest, Victor Escudero.

As a security observation, your deposit list includes two addresses that are identifiable. I assume that those two depositors asked for anonymity, I suggest an alternative is to use the end of the address rather than the start. I would propose this as a default standard - I'm using the last 16 characters of the address and do not publish any details for those that make that request.

Thank you Patrick, nice observation. In fact one of the anonymous depositors prefer to see the firstbits of his/her address instead of a nickname of the form AnonXY where X and Y are digits. She/He was fully aware that the firstbits of the address would represent a unique global mapping between the address and its shortened version. In my opinion using the last characters of the address is not much better than using the first ones, as both strings will be searchable in the blockchain once they are used. We can even use another hash (SHA-256 maybe?) of the withdrawal address and then using a reduced version of only some characters. The bottom line is that anonymous brand new generated addresses should not be tainted with any other identifiable addresses apart from other considerations such as using i2p or Tor. I will preserve the anonymity of any depositor that asks for it and I will use the 'nickname' of their preference.

Yes, you are quite right about the sting being searchable. Like most security features, it is breakable. Still, knowing an address has XXX coins associated with it does not have much information content. Depends on how keen someone is to know something.

Just a quick question about this kind of investment.
(I don't have 1000 BTC or anywhere near that, this is purely hypothetical):
If someone with 1000 BTC were to invest in this 2% weekly deposit... Within one year, they would have ~2800BTC Within two years, they would have ~7841BTC Within three years, they would have ~21959BTC Within five years, that number would now be ~172204BTC At ten years, the balance would be a whopping almost 30,000,000BTC. (more than will exist at that time) Am I missing something, or could a deposit like this turn very big relatively quickly?
Just for the lulz: If you invested a mere 10BTC: 1 yr=28BTC 5 yr=1722BTC 10 yr=296544BTC (around 1/3 of the current Bitcoins in the market today).

The same analysis was done with the growth in registered Elvis impersonators some time ago. Based on some data in the 70's it showed that by 1980, the entire population of the world would be Elvis. What people fail to get is that things change. No one is offering compound weekly at a fixed rate for 500 weeks. Also, in many systems, you run into saturation issues. As an example, I reviewed a proposal some years ago for a marketing campaign in Melbourne. The provider had the capacity to call everyone within a year. So why would we keep them hammering away at people that had already said "no" - simple, you wouldn't. Bit of a difference targeting 4M people vs 400. The same here with BTC.

Thanks for the info Patrick The think I was kinda getting at was what the protocol would be or what would happen when an account gets too large to keep.

You should also take into account that the interest rate I am offering is not compounding.
I will do the math for you: - 1 Year Compounding interest => 1000*(1 + 0.02)^52=2800 btcs - 1 Year Non-Compounding => 1000*(1+0.02*52) = 2040 btcs
In any case I am not willing to offer this 2% interest rate for such a long time for a risk-free deposit like this one. I think it is much more realistic to expect a high interest like this one being offered just for a few weeks/months but not years, that's for sure.
