I don't have tons of money, so I just bought a Jally, about 30 seconds after they published the forms Smiley

I'm going to wait a minute before publishing this so IRC buddies have a bit of an upper hand Wink

Lowest order numbers:
Code:
Jally    - Garr255 - 1656
Single   - OgNasty - 1657
Mini Rig - blackprapor - 1710

Also,
The test orders that Steve and I put through to their database entries were 1650-1655.

So 1656 and 1657 are the lowest order numbers after the page was made public.

Woot! I get the first ASIC!

Congrats on your huge success; Bit-Pay is a great tool.

I bought 3 singles the day before their announcement for between 150 and 165 coins. So I'm kind of stuck with these guys now :/

I agree, because I bought my jalapeno immediately after and my order number was just above my SC order number.  So that begs the question, "Who has the lowest order number?"

Here is one for the conspiracy theorists out there.  Why did this whole thing get pushed out so fast?  I mean from like a June 1 pre-announcement to a June 15th announcement to pre-orders on 6/23 for a product that won't ship til 10/?/2012 maybe???  WTF??  As a business model I just don't get it. You will only alienate your consumer base and kill all current gen orders.

Also, not a current single has really been shipped in over a week and only 4 mini-rigs in existence. It smells of the cheap sourced FPGAs drying up. Why else push so hard and foam everyone up? Not that it takes much around here. Grin   Ok, talk amongst yourselves.

It's harder to alienate customers when you have a monopoly in a demanded industry.

I appreciate your position in supporting Bitcoin by using bitcoins.

However, not all of us are liquid in bitcoins and even use fiat lines of credit.  And, like others have mentioned, those who are liquid in bitcoins are most likely long time community members and speculators who have a decent sized cache of bitcoin.

So, taking only bitcoins, while is admirable on one point, ignores the fact that they are ignoring a certain segment of their existing customer base.

Reality is bitcoin isn't dominating exchange.  Ignoring customers who are still primarily based in fiat (imagine that) will leave a lasting impression.

I think not, as I ordered via bank wire and got an order number in the same range. (1701  Undecided)
