Quick thought :- to make things simpler for BN identification , especially with regard to ratings and later the BN directory, i was thinking all BNs should have a set prefix 6BCRbnk ? or 6BNK?

Thoughts ? The key would be generated by a key generator borrowed from spreadcoin, if their dev agrees with my request (i know it's open source, but fostering good relationships will work out better for everyone in the future)

EVERYONE WHO HAS NOT UPDATED WILL BE FORKED OUT @ BLOCK 207000. I will not take responsibility for those who continue on a side fork.

I've fixed the errors on a daily basis which i know is incredibly annoying, but we are so far off the beaten track that i can't always be sure what happens. Ah, yeah thanks to hack, he caught another bit that would have had us by the short hairs later.

Chainz is in sync and running the very latest master branch, soon so will bittrex... update now and save yourself the trouble of having to either re-download the chain or start using the reconsiderblock rpc call.

Is this a mandatory update, or a recommended update?

I have been looking into how we can have autonomous shared BNs... I think it will be a reality soon enough.  Wink

another possibility

five times now on a windows crash on startup I've deleted the "smsgStore" folder and it starts up fine. It is worth a try if anyone is having the same crash on startup.

**EDIT**

didn't work the 7th time.... but still worth a try

Finally have my nodes ready to go, each with its own core........ sent my collateral funds to the new addresses but we're stuck on block 206972 apparently.

Once I started my nodes, this: https://vid.me/wSLj happened

It's like the wallet didn't allow my nodes and the peers disconnected me. Its just blinking trying to connect.

**EDIT**

Yeah the network didn't like something i did

socket recv error An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.  (10054)

I'll give it a rest for now.

either the node you were connecting to has banned you or you banned it, delete peers.dat

and use add node

Back in business.. Thanks a lot!

I also got this one: socket recv error An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.  (10053)

opened 8877 port too (never had to with my main local wallet). My nodes were broadcasted immediately to my servers. All is good now.

Looks like miners and BNs are still getting superblock payouts, not bidders?

Yeah, it's a miner using a external miner ergo getblocktemplate. Still need a day or two to craft a rule that blocks those types permanently, i thought i had it, but it was incomplete so i just patched the internal miner and other fixes while i re-visit the rule.

And seeing how hxx has not seen a decent mention in any post in ~ 17 days, you'll have to forgive me if i don't take you seriously.

Mining, once again demonstrating itself to be a liability, and the fundamental reason that cryptofiat has to date achieved so little.  Wink
