Anybody for launch a skein pool ?

Why not merge mine with MYR? http://myriad.p2pool.geek.nz/nodes

I got a question myself guys. What's the approx. hashrate for a 7950 in X11 & Blake256 please?

Varies a lot based on the amount of OC you are running but a 7950 on blake should be able to clear 2.0-2.1 GH on Blake256.  My 7970s at 1100 mhz pull 2.55 GH.

As I am sure you already know Blake is a lot hotter and uses more power than x11...but I think the difficulty relative to hash is in favor of Blake..which would make sense.  So if heat and power are of no concern hit up blake over X11...or skein which is about 200 MH on a 7950.

Thanks Bagdar

P&D isn't done... this was a test pump and we are still in accumulation. you can see that the floor holds nicely above 4k and there are always new buy orders to absorb more coins Wink

or maybe 3K now?

I hold too. UIS doesn't cost 3K. Would be silly to sell it now Grin

i am buying at 3k once again now, as mining seems to have become more expensive than marketbuying. This will start rocketing up again once btc stabilizes.

Why, what does this coin has to offer or what's special about this coin?
By the way, dead is very stable (btc)
It's time for the coin which is what btc would have been but never became.

Greetings,

I thought it might be helpful to have a faucet for Unitus:

https://cryptap.us/uis/faucet

Feel free to drop some coins in to fill it.

Well Frisian is it the 1st multi-auxPoW [X11/Blake/Skein/Qubit/Yescrypt].  We have a lot of great developers and community behind it, that are supporting this coin.  Active developers and active community.  Merge mining is the next step in crypto and we believe that we are ahead of that game.  There are no limits to what this dev team can do.  Look through the thread here visit our Reddit http://www.reddit.com/r/Unitus/ or join us in the IRC https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.kiwiirc.com/#Unituscoin for live conversation.

We have much more coming and we want everyone to come along with us.  We believe we are a good track as we have only been live 11 days.

We are looking for coins with the algos to come and join us. Below is a list of our merge mining pools.  Come and join us, if you haven't already.  We would be happy to have you.  Grin

We have much more coming and we want everyone to come along with us.  We believe we are a good track as we have only been live 11 days.

I guess there are big problems with the hashrate going skyhigh.
This has to do with the professional guys mining only for the money.
You should discourage these guys.
Maybe you now already have a problem with a few guys having most of the coins so far.
I guess merge mining is not the option, an algo you can adjust the rewards (without a hard fork) is.
Such a coin exists, you can contact those guys.
You need many many small miners and get rid of those big ones.
That's the future, i guess.

what settings/miner are you using cgminer 3.7.3?  I can only get 2.7 on my 280xs at 1100 mhz

I am using the 14 omega drivers, is there a previous version that builds a better kernel?

Edit: Blake says a 6950 should pull:  800MH/s on a AMD ATI Radeon 6850

you don't have "vectors" set to like 2 or 3 by any chance in your config and are getting a the graphical error?

Using miner for P2p UIS Blake Pool.

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
cgminer.exe -I 13 --blake256 --gpu-engine 875 --gpu-memclock 1325 ...

Drivers 13.12

Ok, so that seems about 2x more than anyone has ever reported.  Does the pool also confirm this hash-rate, not just the miner?  If you have vectors set as 2 in config it would show a double hash rate as a graphical error which would be about 2.7-2.8 for a 6950.

Thanks,

No.
I'm not using config file, all is set in my batch.
But hashrate is always different between miners and pools  Grin

And i don't know how interprete cgwatcher stats ...

Problem is with your option in unitus.conf: bind=10.0.4.2

That is forcing unitusd to listen only on 10.0.4.2 for Peer-2-Peer traffic, but then p2pool is trying to connect via 127.0.0.1.

Solutions: Either remove the bind=10.0.4.2 from your unitus.conf file, or append '--bitcoind-address 10.0.4.2' to your command to start p2pool - this would force p2pool to connect to that interface in place of the loopback interface.

Let me know if you are going to make this node public and i'll add a link to it on the existing nodes. PM me your geographical location.

Thanks.

i am buying at 3k once again now, as mining seems to have become more expensive than marketbuying. This will start rocketing up again once btc stabilizes.

Difficulty follows the price (not vice versa).  If mining Unitus become more expensive than marketbuying, miners will leave this coin. You can always mine something more profitable.
Only further development can bring higher price (longterm). (or pump in shortterm)
