Given the many feedbacks i got personally after this announcement,

let me address some of the questions  and let me sort out the relationship between

our worldview as a team
and
our power (or intention) to inforce it via this currency


Our currency is decentralized.  This fact restricts our ability, to influence properties or the choice of others, to adopt or to reject Europecoin, to nearly zero. We are part of this community, because we appreceate this property. The incorruptable character of a (matured) cryptocurrency is the core of our movement. Keeping this in mind, let me answer the questions about our views and intentions in terms of the announcement, i am quoting here:


1) do you really trust a russian exchange?

Despite the fact, that i am at least not opposed to trust a russian exchange and
that i don't feel, to have to judge a russian exchange in any way different than a non-russian exchange,
my opinion does not really matter, when it comes to allowing or disallowing russian adoption.
So the fact, that i even appreceate this adoption is irrelevant to their choice to do so.


2) shouldn't you better seek European partners?

Yes we we do. To be precise there are two reasons to see this as a fact:

a) GEOGRAPHY
Discussions around geopolitics and the European Union do often distract from the fact, that Russia is yet another beautiful country, that is located on this continent and
when i am stating, that i am devoiting my work for a peaceful and prosper EUROPE, Russia is equally meant with that.
(Sidenote: Of course i see this just as a startingpoint or a first contribution, to foster a peaceful and prosper life for any human worldwide)

b) OUR WORK inside of the European Union
We are not only seeking partnerships here, we are extremly successful especially in this effort

It is just run by a team, that is deeply rooted in the European activism movement. Listing to russian exchange should be statement to expand - and that probably made you ask about expansion it in the first place.

I don't know if this adds any value to szene's answer, but I'd just like to point out that centralization of power is a global phenomenon and ERC project was pretty much born on idea of decentralization of economical and political powers, and especially economical power to influence politics.

.. or that's how I've understood it! Szene most likely corrects that if necessary!

ACCELERATING ...

Some overview for the coming weeks


This week, started our exchange and  payment campaign and we added the first additional platform, exactly as promised three month ago. Further there are some more really cool ones in the queue. Also we have made a huge step in Financecloud API development and a giant one in Brüssels. We are now nearly 3 months ahead of our schedule.and organized the first hardwaretests in China yesterday. While media coverage is increasing i will now spend a week, to put out a very detailed and specific roadmap for our final stage and will replace once more our Bitcointalk OP, which has been nearly rendered useless, given our progress over the last 6 months. Then, while getting a  pro into rethinking my ambitious but maybe a bit to brave and unskilled webpage, i will prepare my suitcase. To use this flow and to accelerate, i got a nice loft in Poland and hired three full time developers from the beginning of February. So i will fly there will start a final four weeks hackaton to completion. Given the conditions, expect the first developer devices, to be ready for manufacturing at the end of March
