i received my s5 but after an hour of hashing, one of the hashboard shows 30 "-" (dashes). tried powering up one board and its the same
What is the exact make and model of the PSU you're using? Tried hard restarts [turn off at the PSU]? If that's still not working, you can try plugging that blade into the other port on the controller. Let us know. Пpoблeмa peшeнa. Bce paбoтaeт Smiley U27 4VK4 вылeтeлa (LN1134), кинyли c U30 пpoвoдoк c выxoдa и вce зapaбoтaлo. Кидaли пpoвoдoк c U24, peзyльтaтa нe былo. They mean LN1134 dead, bridge u30 out to... i dont know where.

Miner Porn Funny, I wonder how many of those little wire shelf setups have been sold to miners. I've got 3 myself.

Those are available in chrome at Walmart. I've been using a less expensive 4 shelf white cart found in the laundry section going for ~$12.59. Caveat, they don't mention those work best when a small cable tie is used to fasten each shelf to a cross bar. Otherwise it's a no screw fit together deal. So cheap I've been using one per miner and supplies. Thinking of putting two miners and supplies on each to exploit window access better.

How do I calculate power consumed based on frequency?
350 = X KWH 375 = X KWH 400 = X KWH
I remember someone telling me that 375 = 0.65 KWH but I have no idea where the number came from. Please explain it to me.

2-3 days via UPS Stay away from DHL. They take 3 or 4 days just to get out of China.

If you want to buy from Bitmain, I'd suggest I ordering soon, before their "limited quantity" run is sold out.

My S5 runs at 393.75M freq and uses ~640W at the wall, measured using a kill-a-watt. I've seen others post their S5 drawing ~670W at the same freq, so there's variation. How do I calculate power consumed based on frequency?

Please DO NOT place cardboard or any flammable item on top of the Antminer. It can be a fire hazard.
What about some thin plastic like the sides. Does it get hotter on top then the sides? [Unofficial mod] If you choose a plastic type with a Tm of 100C+ you'll be good. Alternatively you could use electrical or duct tape. do you know what size screws i should get for the back fan? also would adding a back fan decrease the temps enough to slow down the front one?? what if i used one of those fan speed adapters.. im assuming the fan is just a regular 4 pin pwm connector? i have a few of those that come with CM fans that are preset to 1800 and 1600 and 1200. altho i think those speeds are set for a 2500 rpm fan, i think its 70% 60% and 50% Screws are M4 .70. Then you need to find the length you want.

The PSU is able to provide 1200watts, the C1 is drawing ~900 watts. You can safely OC the C1 till max frequency, the PSU will survive only the C1 can get a bit stressed Cheeers

I need to figure out the RMA process too. This is what a S5 looks like when it dies overnight:
