I'm not really happy with my Ants a lot more bugs/problems than s3.... Undecided

Such as? Don't say shit like this without giving some details.

From about 10 Ants one is with dead controler board, 3 more Ants are not running stable after a few hours the hashrate drops a half and i need to restart the miner..... before S5 i have a lot of S3 Ants - rock solid device if we compare it against S5.

PS : I dont like Bitmain Warranty Support, after a week from my first message.....nothing just "try this" , "try that".....today i try to fix the Ant firmware with bootable sd card but nothing, now i'm waiting for answer whats next. Is there any chance to receive a working controller board from Bitmain or i have to pay again  ?  Wink

If you are in the US, ship it to their Colorado site (pm BitmainWarranty on here).

has anyone try to overclock it above 425 Mhz? i run it on stock fan with temps 53/49 and c the fan at full speed about 3960 rpm and no x on acic chips and about 1375 Hf/s when i try to go above 425 still i have no hardware errors but my hash rate drops at 1200 Gh/s or lower? any explanation for that?? and my s5 looks rock solid having it run for more than 4 days at 425Mhz
P.S. i have allready ordered 2 delta fans  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271775072487?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Please email support@bitmain.zendesk.com

Please include the Bitmaintech.com ORDER ID associated with this S5 unit!!!

The process is very simple, a few tests that can be done and screen shots and we should know what parts you would need.

Well my S5 is running stable now thank god. I too had the hashrate nosdive of death which if you read a few posts ago is probably due to them globbing the fuck out of the chips and whatever Ho CHi mihn heatsink paste they use has a hard time spreading out evenly. If you experience the hashrate nosedive of death I recommend running them stock or underclocked slightly to keep the chips warm to burn through the crap they put on there for a few days then go back to stock, then start overclocking. I remember a pic of an S3+ with so much paste is was all over the PCB, ouch!

I have a dead blade on my Antminer S5, which has been running for 2 months then this suddenly happened.  It shows all -'s in the miner status, one blade is cold and there is no red led lit on the blade.  I checked all the connections but it is still doing the same.  Any ideas?

Is it possible to switch between 2 blade to investigate the cause?
Sounds like power problem on dead blade.

I switched the power cables around from one board to the other and the same board is still dead no matter how the cords are arranged.

The blade is dead. I had the same issues and just called it a loss and moved on.

I'm assuming this is it - https://bitmain.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/204875015-How-to-diagnose-S5-hashing-PCB

Unless they were referring the the blade one - https://bitmain.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/203559969-My-S5-hashes-at-about-600GH-S

We will see I'm right.  I'm sure they come back and put right one once they notice it's not there in post.

I am located in the US.  I got lucky and met a few of your guys at a Chicago BTC conference.   I wanted to go to the New York conference but could not make the scheduling work.

But next BTC conference I see you guys at I will happily go out and get a beer with you guys!

hello I too have the same problem and is the https://bitmaintech.com/ home scam to me then because I bought a new antminer S5 I wanted to give a refund and demand the shipment of parts (that I must disassemble) and then void the warranty.
how often they give away cards defective?
the boards should not be covered otherwise go to do damage to other users
thieves are well organized mafia
I do not recommend purchasing the bins are bitman
when they get home
the antminer s5 are defective and bitmantech is a den of crooks who sell broken material
Avoid the Chinese are unreliable and do not reimburse anything, you risk losing all your money like me

heading away from the Chinese and their poor quality stuff available for any clarification

....skipping racist stuff...

If it is Bitmains official support team telling you to do something, you will not lose warranty over it.   You had their permission.   (I believe this is right please correct me if I'm wrong).

I have had quite a few antminers never a dud yet.  The C1's I had some water problems but that was syscooling not really bitmain.

But check to make sure but you should still have warranty in tact since listening to official support.

I can tell you that bitmain instead recognize that if there is a fault in their products you change them as collateral, the problem lies in the distance, I am in Italy and last week I sent my pcb for replacement, now I and realized I was stuck in customs, because by mistake my wife has put a value of 100 euro, then surely they contacted the recipient had to pay and he refused, and then was blocked, now I have to wait for Monday to get in touch with and tnt solve the problem, some bitmain could already send me the new pcb, who still has not sent me
