Why does one need to supply their email address? How do we know you won't use it to spam us, or sell it to other spammers?

Oh that is reassuring... spammers would never lie to me.  

Why not just send the payment to the winner's bitcoin address? They will know they have won when they see a payment
to that address ( which, if the user is using best practices, should be a unique one chosen just for the raffle... if
they don't want to use best practices and want somebody to hold their hand and chew their food for them... 'then'
you can make supplying an email notification address optional. ).

Come on people. Bitcoin is a revolution in our ability to safeguard and take control of our own money and our own privacy...

I'm not the best programmer so I looked up a free "raffle" program and came across this.  This is how the site I'm using (rafflecopter) gets entries and I don't have the ability to modify it!  If you have a better free option that would make it so you would only have to enter your BTC address I'm all ears!  I will take it down until you let me know of a better option.

Sorry I can't help you. Maybe you can find some assistance in the developer sub-forum or similar.

Couldn't you just tell people on your page that filling in an email address is optional ( or to put a phony one in if the script requires one )?

In any case whether you take your page down or not is your choice.  If this raffle is just for a limited time, like your post seems to suggest,
it wouldn't really be something I would add to the list anyway.

You are free to post about it here up until April 6th, for those who may be interested in such a thing. Just make to not do more than one post per day
or else the mods will consider it spam.

They are all different exchanges and the one you should pay attention to perhaps is any one you may want to use to buy or sell Bitcoin.
One preferably in your own country that lets you buy using your own preferred currency: Dollar; Euro etc. 

Do your research and don't let someone you are unsure of have control of your assets. The whole point of Bitcoin is not needing a
middleman like banks and exchanges etc.  A better solution for many is to find a person to buy or sell from face to face.

If you are really interested in Bitcoin as a revolutionary technology, rather than just some commodity/currency to speculate in, then the
market price isn't all that important.  As a payment processor ( just one blockchain application out of potentially very many ) it works as
well at the price of $1 as it does at $10,000. 

If you are interested in it as a long term investment then you will want to learn as much as you can and you will no doubt discover
that its fundamentals are very strong and getting better all the time.  Something that is not always reflected in the vagaries of a
very young and novel market. We are still in the early adopter stage like the web in the early 90s, in my opinion, and still a good time
to buy in. 

But while there is the potential of a high reward it comes along with a high risk.  Like with any investment you should already
know the standard mantra: don't invest anything you can't afford to lose.

That's micro bitcoins. 1 mBTC = .001 BTC.
