Nice find, were you looking for that prefix along with all your others?

No transactions on the network as yet: https://blockchain.info/address/1NewbornSeatQVC9vegVHnxVseNAhhxewb (which proves it's a valid wallet address)

I guess signing from 1NewbornSeatQVC9vegVHnxVseNAhhxewb would probably make it unsalable?

I've added "1Newborn" to my list months ago (I was planning a gift, but we got them a teddy bear instead), and I was just extremely lucky to get a compleet "Seat" behind it. My list isn't even that long, and I hadn't ran it for a long time. It has some rare things like "1ChipMixer", "1RocketShip" and "1LoyceLoan" (and some variations to each). That's about 50 in total.
Next on my list is 1"ashortword"Bitcoin. Example: "1CowBitcoin". So far, I haven't hit any of them yet. My total list around 15000 prefixes. If I add much more, oclvanitygen gets slower.

Of course it's valid Cheesy

.
I don't think anybody would (or should!) want to buy an address for which someone else owns the private key.
I use split key to create addresses, and keep the keys offline. I can sign a message, but it takes me at least 30 minutes to access it in a secure way.
I'll sign it at a later moment, just to show off Cheesy

I save the first one, this is actually not too questionable to produce GPU, but you need regex which is not supported by GPU-vanitygen. So, I sent some of my lazy CPUs on the task and found it in a few weeks. I thought I knew it should've been like an average of 60 days, so I would have been lucky! I'm not sure it's really worth it for all the energy I've tried to find it, but unlike my CPU that does something useful.

Not bad.  That would take about 80 days to generate with a single 970 or equivalent.

And what do you think about https://blockchain.info/address/1Wh4bh
Of course no one will use and address like this because it's very easy to broken in vanity gen, but i thought if is valid to send coins to this f**cking short address ?

1Wh4bh is not a valid Bitcoin address. Bitcoin addresses are anywhere from 26 to 35 characters long. Shorter ones are very rare, I think the shortest I've found has 32 characters.
Blockchain.info has many bugs, it makes no sense to show this as a valid Bitcoin address.

Go ahead, try it. Your wallet won't allow you to send it.

Now it makes me want to keep trying on my wallet to be able to find a rare address for myself but it's not possible now because it's all with the wallet that's out there. Cool

Any vanity pubkeys category? If so, I win:

0200000000000000000000003b78ce563f89a0ed9414f5aa28ad0d96d6795f9c63

Did you have the private key too? How did you find that public key?

22 zeroes means 2^88 tries (on average) !

EDIT:

Whats the point of vanity addresses tho? The only thing it accomplishes is making it easier to track down your BTC. I would never use them. If you have a business you should use different addresses anyway. I guess its just for shits and giggles? Smiley

It only makes it easier for humans to recognize a pattern.  Computers dont care if there are human-readable words or not, a search takes the same amount of time.  I dont recall shitting myself over any of my vanity addresses...or giggling about them either.

Ahha is a nice address, and they are great for creating a wallet who can spell out his words.

Hopefully my next hope after reading this thread gets the wallet I want, something like this:

Yes, sometimes it's just for fun or for being unique but it totally not help us a lot, I guess. anyway, that is really a nice address that can possibly memorize compared to usual bitcoin address.

You can create any arbitrary address simply by putting the correct checksum at the end. You, of course, will not know the secret key, so anything that is sent there is unlikely to ever be received will be destroyed and can never be spent.

FIFY.

Here is an example I made a long time ago:

Code:
11When1DieBuryMeDeepLayTwoXVEY5jv - (Unspent) 0.00000001 BTC
11SpeakersAtMyFeetAPairofXXTyrHor - (Unspent) 0.00000001 BTC
11HeadphonesonMyHeadAndXXXXYUSvnd - (Unspent) 0.00000001 BTC
11ALwaysPLayTheGratefuLDeadWdq4Xo - (Unspent) 0.00000001 BTC

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

Jesus, that must have taken forever to bruteforce, what kind of hardware were you working with? Must have been an absolute beast, or you simply got completely lucky and cracked one early with low power hardware.
