Your block chain has become corrupt. You can either delete it (of course keep wallet.dat) and let the wallet download it again or open the wallet with -rescan.

ok but I downloaded the windows mirror qt from OP and now it's not there anymore to download? So how exactly can I rescan it? I'm that Noob when it comes to computers lol or if I delete everything but the wallet.dat and download the other windows wallet will I still have my coins because I have the wallet.dat?even though its a different windows wallet than the one I officially downloaded?

Ok. The quick simple easy fix is to go to the folder C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\GoldPieces and delete everything there except the wallet.dat and peers.dat file. Launch the wallet and it will re sync.

Staking starts after your coins have been in your wallet for 24 hours. Maturity after 50 blocks
