Inkha, could you tell us what the average mining price was for you. I think it's fair for everyone to know.

"There is no premine, though i will be renting rigs to mine the coin and buying the coin after the mining period for use in the games that will be launched for the coin. GoldPieces will be used as the in-game currency in various browser based online games."

Well just by doing math in my head its much more higher than price is now.

One of the few hi-pos coins setted up correctly from start. 500% or close to 0.5% a day.

well, I have about 27K and last 24hr I staked 274 coins, so do your math ;-)

(hint: coin splitting, howto in this forum)

The stake rate is 500% per year as I checked on ann page? Can somebody share his experience with staking this coin?

Dev , Ill be honest , I think whats hurting the price the most is the "missing" "setstakesplitthreshold command. Ive worded it this way so you understand. I think a small wallet update adding this feature will bring much added interest and new investors to this coin. Money supply at this moment is a mere 815k

Vegas

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

Dev, I hope you don’t get discouraged by pushing like this.

Personally, I quite enjoy these times, because:
no news -> low interest in buying/staking -> low prices and diff to accumulate.
I really don’t mind sitting tight for couple of months accumulating :-)

Hey Dev, any update?

It may help the reputation of this coin to finally fix the fucked up POS code.

It looks like ILT (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=974053.0) started out as a clone of GP, and they fixed the problem so the work has been done for you.  Just copy the fixes they made and update the qt so that issue can be put to rest.

+1000 EXCELLENT IDEA!!! Thats why people are shying away from this coin. No reason pos cannot be fixed, like you said its already done.

Needs a community takeover, and/or a real dev behind it.  Maybe one can be hired.

Agreed, If we had a community takeover with new dev. Work for new dev would be minimal as they could use Intellicoin as a template.

Who knows any good devs they can contact to take over this coin? With the new intellicoin source it can be 10% daily. Price would rise FAST!!!

There is no reason to change the intended specifications of the coin.  500% annual interest with a reward cap of 2.5 per block is fine.  So the source code for ILT can't be copied line for line exactly, but I'm just saying that whatever makes the POS act wonky in GP can be fixed easily by a relative layman if they use the fixes made in ILT as a guide.

No one wants inkha to waste too much time messing with the coin itself.  The value here was supposed to be the games that will use GP as their currency.  Just saying that GP has this busted code hanging over it and this would be a relatively easy thing to lay to rest and would help restore confidence in the project.

The other big issue here is whether or not inkha is still developing the games.  I understand this stuff takes time and people need to be patient, but there are delisting warnings on 2 exchanges and inkha doesn't reappear.  That is a bad sign.  If he did abandon the project, then there is no developer to create games for its use, which was the whole point in the first place, so there is no reason to bother fixing the stake code and the coin is pretty much dead and useless.

I took a chance and caught a dump of a few thousand coins at 400 satoshis.  I have no big stake in this coin but I'm gambling on the long shot that this all comes together and my holdings turn into a 100 bagger one day.  Time will tell.......

*IF* we found a developer to fix the coin and cause it to stake correctly and remove the 2.5GP cap reward, THAT in itself would raise the value. Most coins do not have an end purpose other than to generate interest, and they do very well. How can we find a dev to fix this coin and get it working first to raise the price?

I think we have to ask around, or make a 'dev wanted' post somewhere.  Probably wouldn't take too much of their time, so maybe someone who is dev for some other coin could do it.

I'm willing to help out with GP in a week or two.

At the moment I am focussed on my gaming coin HYPER (after needing a break for personal reasons) but I will keep GP in mind.

I checked out Intellicoin.  Looks like it was a real easy fix, slight alteration to the code along with the hardfork.  Inkha seems to not be on board and may have just been a bought account for the purpose of releasing this coin?  If that's the case we would need to do a community take-over and then the fix + hardfork.  We'll see, gone for over a week now.

They released the coin with a faulty POS while regularly assuring us the faulty POS was working correct, along with missing all the deadlines they set for the game and dice-site.  I would think this is not the type of 'dev,' if you can call them that, which we want as main dev for this coin.
