Hi Tribesman, Do we have an update re: bitsoko project? Kobo has been moving lately with consistent buyups.
Yup bitcoin is about to go parabolic. I'm anticipating 2k per btc in under a month. Along with this comes tons of press. Once the bubble bursts the capitol flows into other alts. If Kobo is on ppls radar then it will benifit from the new $$ that will be searching for new investments. If you have anything planned now is definitly the time! Happy btc halving everyone:) I'm holding tons of Kobo! I think it's a great investment Tribesman works really hard, with Africa's fintech movement it will take off very soon.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

forget 1.2%, coins were moved to and fro many times. you mean kobo tx weight is not growing at all when wallet is locked/offline ? The weight is growing when offline but how long would you say the wallet has been online and actively staking?

Happy btc halving everyone:) Some good news is that I've found someone to build to bitcore-lib JS libs. I'm hoping this will be done by the end of next week and then the libs can be delivered to bitsoko. I know it's been long but we are getting there. The same dev might also be able to look at our electrum server which is running but also having issues. Electrum doesn't run at it's best on a vps.

Hi Tribesman, do you have a plan to get ppl on the ground to start using kobo or are you hoping it takes off from bitcoin related excitement?

QUICK UPDATEGuys I will get to your questions, but I have been working on getting this completed and tested for a few days. Good news, we now have a working Javascript library. Private keys and addresses are now being produced so can be generated offline by any platform or organization that wants to integrate Kobocoin (see red box in screenshot). I've contacted Bitsoko. We'll see how it goes. I'm off to bed now. I'm wrecked. I will provide an update and answer questions another time. What I will point out is that it is collaborations with organizations like Bitsoko that will raise our profile. Hopefully Bitsoko is the first of many collaborations that will take Kobocoin deeper into the market. I am not simply waiting for bitcoin excitement to drag kobo along. Without things like JS libs we cannot offer our services to other blockchain organizations. Now we have the js lib we can. The not so funny thing in this case is that it's actually my own code that's working and producing the private keys and addresses. Some troubleshooting sorted it out.

Lol two buys totaling over 2 btc on coinexchange at 2900 and over... could have bought twice as much for half on yobit. Hmmm, probably manipulation but jeez that's some expensive positioning.

I've been in contact with Bitsoko but it looks like they're experiencing some major issues (sustained DDOS attack) so we have to wait till they've resolved them. I've also been interviewed by one of the major crypto news sites. I'll post a link to the article once it comes out. Things are slow right now. I've been watching the exchanges and market cap with interest. Yes, there's manipulation going on there but at least something's going on on the markets.

Thanks for the votes. We're up there with Tikebit http://www.fintech-africa.com/category/blockchain-bitcoin. I'd like to see 100 votes. I'll be touting for more over the next few weeks. I'll also be contacting the other blockchain companies nominated to see if there's partnership opportunities.

updating suggested POS coins by TALK community https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=864994.msg13983872#msg13983872KOBO is on the new list as it was on the old list. Would be nice to have a formal KOBO rep stop by the TALK ever so often to keep us up-to-date But we will require a person of knowledge and standing to provide formal nomination and periodic communication in order to remain listed.
