Trying to install the Windows wallet from the OP, i get the following error: Any suggestion? I am using Windows 8 64bit. Thanks! If it is the very 1st time you opened it, then just open it a 2nd time and it should work normally. (Known quirk on many coins, after they create the blockchain files, it works on the 2nd attempt)If it still fails Use My Snapshot for the fastest update. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1378653.msg14191396#msg14191396Post if you still have a problem.

yobit.net: Withdrawal for such currency is temporary off. +1 isn't it long enough already ? I would not trust YoBit at all, I am the dev for another coin and I have tried to get them to update the code but they just do not communicate so stay away from YoBit. I never get any response from them.

I've finally been able to get in touch with someone on Yobit. I'm hopeful that this will be resolved soon. I'm on the case but tickets only get resolved if you can get them on the trollbox.

Yes, I will be going, and speaking, and using LEGO to demonstrate the blockchain. I'm still pushing Kobocoin to the world outside of the crypto industry. Over the last few months the interest in blockchain has really fallen off (I think the Ethereum/DAO/BitFinex incidents didn't help) but I still believe that KOBO as a currency has a place in the African mobile fintech arena. Another point is that Kobocoin is seen as green tech because we're PoS which is great. Evergreencoin has been pushing that they're green because they're X15 and PoS, well KOBO has been that since Feb 2015! Here's the link to the article: http://www.thegreenorganisation.info/whats-green-about-the-blockchainNo matter how slow things are with interest in blockchain I will keep pushing and keep KOBO alive for when people start to see the benefits of a completely independent cryptocurrency. Like a good wine we are maturing with time I'm hoping the House of Parliament event will give our cause a further push in the right direction. Who knows who'll be listening! And don't forget that we're in the top 3 blockchain entrants in the African Fintech 100 awards. http://www.fintech-africa.com/category/blockchain-bitcoinKeep voting. We need the exposure!

Been watching Kobocoin for quite a long time now. There seems to be long game potential here, but I just have no idea how popular cryptocurrency possibly is in Africa...

Well, Kobo offers all of the same benefits as MPESA, but without the cost. MPESA is huge in Africa. I can't understand why this coin has such a low market cap, it's only $56,000, less than many miserable shitcoins without purpose. The dev is public and has been working at this for nearly two years with very little recognition for his efforts. The wallet is great, simple to use and quick. It's fully functional on Android, Mac, PC and Linux... where's the problem? It seems to me that this has the potential of explosive growth with just a little good news, hopefully the talk at the Houses of Parliament can provide that little spark. Anyway, I'm hanging in.

Thanks to everyone who voted. You all did good.I was really happy with where we got to. Great showing! We actually came third but it looks like they gave third to a blockchain/solar outfit from SA that wants to pitch at the conference. I can see the logic, but we're the fall guys! I can't be bothered to kick up a stink... Results - http://www.fintech-africa.com/category/blockchain-bitcoinBut whats this?? - https://twitter.com/FinTech_Africa/status/780373351571320832 Some good news is that there's been a few enquiries about the currency from Nigerian companies following the fintech awards results. One is a PoS company who've been asking some important questions. Interestingly (bearing in mind the new Zcash anonymity USP and everyone trying hard to achieve anonymity) they don't want an anonymous currency. They're looking into microlending etc so identities need to be known. I'm still trying to get Yobit to resolve the withdrawal issue. They're 'impossible' to get hold of. I've also not heard from Bitsoko so it's all ups and downs at the moment. We're coming up to 2 years old. They say that's when a currency matures. The tech is still running, network still alive and we're all still in the game.
