http://www.badbitcoin.org/thebadlist/I don't know who compiled it or what the requirements are for a site to be included though. For instance, I would have been hesitant to classify PBMining as a definite scam back when it was popular but it appears they listed it months before it went bust.

Bitcoin seems to attract online scammers because it's pseudonymous, instantaneous, much harder to trace when mixed, and doesn't support chargebacks. With Bitcoin, the responsibility of the trade is solely on the buyer and unlike fiat banking, there are no centralized entities that can team up with authorities to regulate Bitcoin transactions.
Honest? Gotta say, that's a pretty ironic name for a scam.
