I agree... is there any way to hardfork to a PoS with the same coin release schedule? Some updated technology to icoin would add real value to the coin. However, finding someone with the expertise and willingness to undertake such a project might prove to be a difficult task.
Hello buttonmc, PoS isn't happening with iCoin as far as the consensus goes with regard to those who have been discussing the future. You can create a new coin if you want because that is what it would become when you change the fundamentals and social contract more than a year into the emission. The main plan to recover from CaptainHooks releases at this point is to rebase against the current version of Litecoin and change the difficulty retargeting algorithm which _will_ require a hardfork. The other parameters of the emission will remain the same. Please come and share your thoughts though in #iCoin and #iCoin-dev on Freenode. Mostly its been the same 10 of us talking amongst ourselves for a couple of months. We are still seeking at least 2 more Jr. developers and a Sr. developer to help advance the project goals. We are also looking for an artist to work closely with us on the branding of the wallet and paper wallet. Kind Regards, -Chicago icoin will get the Low volume warning soon, some one buy all the coins at 100 sat and pump pfffff....!!!!!

Sadly the community have moved on and there are way to many coins for an old git like icoin to stand out without some good new updates. Chicago did post a while back asking for people to come forward in regards to help the development and I have also been searching, but it's difficult. If we do get delisted from c-cex then we will still have yobit to trade on.

iCoin is going to be removed from C-CEX today. Better withdraw/dump asap if you have coins there or you'll lose them.
"coins retreival [sic] after the removal date will not be possible"

you can transfer them to yobit. Sadly it looks like things aren't going to move anytime as the search for a legit developer continues and crypto is turning coins round faster than my ice cream melts

Hi all, I can see that there is a poor interest in iCoin. Is anybody still willing to push this coin?
@LP: I can see, that you have sold ICNs I have donated to the team at YoBit, right?
Regards, S.

Hi Sinpey, I needed to recover some costs for the block explorer, that cost me 0.26 btc for the 6 months if I recall. I know I won't get all of the costs covered but that was a start. It will also go to providing a new explorer when this one stops working. I am mining the chain at the moment to keep it going. It looks all but gone sadly. The market is saturated with new coins on a daily basis. Chicago put a lot of effort in to creating a new wallet and I tried a few things but because of the negative vibe in alts it's hard for people to look at older coins as anything serious. The community disbanded when they realised there wasn't going to be quick profits which was sad but this is crypto. Any ideas?

Hi LP,
don't worry I'm not upset. I can imagine that your costs had to be quite huge... I can see that mining is still going on and I'm thinking what we can do. Start new donation period - new pools, Facebook page, Web page, ... ? Because of my job I'm unable to do it on my own, but I'm still willing to donate and help...
What do you think?

Hey man, It's difficult to see a way forward on iCoin without a large enough community following. It was small when we tried last time and quickly faded due to people wanted to cash out quickly. I honestly don't know what to think.

Hi All, I can see that blockchain explorer at https://chainz.cryptoid.info/icn/ has expired. I'll donate the service and let's see if iCoin wins or fails forewer S.

Hi Sinpey, When I get home later I will send enough for another month. That should be enough time for us to decide if we want to continue with ICN. Okay paid 0.035 so that will give us a month, I'll more than do another month when this expires too.

Hi LordPiccolo,
thank you so much. OK, I'll pay for the next month... Do you have any suggestions how to proceed?
