If an exchange doesn't come soon, this coin will die...

I have the same feeling. We need some progress to get more people interested

It doesn't even need to be a major exchange imo... something like this would work fine for now:
http://exchange.bytecoin.in/

I've made some trades there and had no problems.

I will NEVER ask for any kind of funds up front in a buy/sale of anything on bitcointalk.

How do you mine this? I tried cgminer and changed the server from the LTC pool to the BBQ megapool and cgminer hangs...  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I'm not 100% if it is my set up or how the pool pays out and the luck element too. I mined for 11 hours and got 100 bqc... hoping someone with further knowledge could explain this to me.

Overall I am very happy with BQC but for now I will continue to Solo mine, I really like the feel behind the coin and it's good to see pools popping up.

We have a working pool now at http://bbqcoin.megapool.co/

Tested and working.

Example config:

Code:
cgminer.exe --scrypt -o http://bbqcoin.megapool.co:6666 -u SetUpaWorkerName -p x --intensity 12 --worksize 256 --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 2

Smiley

I am not getting any confirmed rewards in bbqcoin.MegaPool.co even after several blocks have confirmed. Whats up with this? I see miners are dropping like flies from the pool.. Scam???

Edit: 6:44pm I have now got a confirmed amount for 18 shares. It seems to me that the difficulty is too high on this pool for smaller hashrates. It should be adjusted.

I've gone back to mining and switched to cgminer and finding things working a lot better. Previously I was on guiminer and getting more stales then I would of liked.

Dead in market terms, they want to profit for this coin, this is why they are saying that BQC is dead.
