I don't see any recent commit on github... Is there a new repository?

Hi,

There's only one repository, https://github.com/Lyrabar/Lyrabar/ and I have two different branches there. All the commits for the next version are in the developement branch, after I feel satisfied with the updated source, merging with master branch happens.

Next version is going to be 0.9.1 because of many major fixes.

Seems there is a bug in the transaction fee, next version also includes a fix for this issue, people should be then able to send larger amount of coins in a transaction.

Also, the poolserver stability will improve after this update. With this txfee bug, Redis hangs up and is not recoverable until a reboot. This bug kills the stratum when the daemon tries to send large amount of coins at once.

Thanks but I don't see the "algo switch".
I assume it'll change from lyra2re to lyra2rev2...

You're exactly right about both things!

I haven't done any algorithm related commits yet, also, the algorithm will be changed to the fixed Lyra2REv2.

There's something im not getting here. Lyra2Rev2 is designed to give an edge to GPU mining and the POLL in this thread suggests that the majority of the miners want to mine with their CPU... so, what gives?

Has the algorithm already changed?  The official pool hasn't found a block in 6 days

Not yet, working on the commits still.

Seems the crons are bugging on the official, I'll run and fix the issue immediately. Blocks have been found normally by looking "Blocks" page.

Issue fixed hopefully. Everyone, please set maximum of 10 coin treshold for payouts. If the issue with Redis does not get fixed by a commit that repairs the Txfee bug on the next wallet, I'll then change to Python Stratum.

Thanks!

Looks like we made the minimum volume at C-Cex too.  It's a good day for Lyrabar!

Unexpected volume! Great job anyone who bought, this really makes many people happy including me to see some movement in the exchange.

Since it's been a great day for Lyrabar so far, I'd like to officially announce Lyrabar.us - a community resource with downloads and mining instructions for beginners.

We're also hosting a blockchain bootstrap, so you can get a new install synced in no time.

Thanks for contributing! I'll add this to the first post.

Bootstrap file eases up synchronization, if someone feels the blockchain is slow to fetch, use bootstrap file.

Everyone remember - there is a new faucet upcoming and there is a useful bot on the official channel ##lyrabar on the Freenode IRC network.

The bot is capable of raining, feel free to join the channel and take your umbrella within - free coins for everyone!

Can we do a manual payout more than 10?

Can do, but at the moment it's just a precaution to keep the payments running for everyone.

I'm running a hybrid NOMP+MPOS pool, and the NOMP payment processor seems to have issues with big payouts with the current source code. Like earlier mentioned, this might be a issue with the Txfee I've submitted a fix already, coming in effect on the next version. I'm investigating at the moment if there's any solution for this.

I'm building one soon and can provide some information and howtos, if you or someone else is interested to set up a own faucet.

Also, found out the classic issue with pool. Blocks has no share_id, E0062, sometimes gets repaired by itself when force running payouts. I've had this so many times and bet it's because of the "hybrid" poolserver.
When looking at SQL database, all the shares by user submitted for a X block to pay off have own share_id, then I get rid of it by force running payouts cron. I Would like to know what makes it happen, only the error is documented but not the reason what makes it.

Check out the easy mining guide at Lyrabar.us - any person, even if they've never heard of Bitcoin, can mine Lyrabar with any computer or laptop.  That beats a faucet.

But if Grinz sets one up I'm going to fund it.
