Well I think it's almost time to just put all 3 of these coins on one network...
found your post in the balls thread and wasn't shure if it was meant as a joke or not. not that i'm against this but if you haven't been joking can you share a little more insight on how this would work. |

Hello,
I have a problem with my wallet, I updated the software version 2.0.2, just to have something toujous correct. Copy of wallet.dat biensur. Reimportation in the folder and perform a repairwallet perform.
Until then, no problem (well almost. No balance in full but not serious in am. By cons, when I wanted to move all the parts, I had an error that my close my wallet me basically saying that the transaction is not valid for any of the exhibits ,. Now impossible to reopen with a nice error message:
A fatal error occurend. No. 10k can continue along Safely and Will quit
EXCEPTION: St13runtine_error
CWallet :: getcredit (): value out of range
d: \ 10k-qt-win \ 10k-qt.exe exception is Runaway
I participated in this room since ago, and I always keep everything. Its just hurts me to have to lose everything now after almost three months of operation.
Can you help me?

First try to restart your computer. Usually that error requires a restart of the computer, I would also delete all files except for wallet.dat in the %appdata%/roaming folder and the launch 10k qt again downloading the correct block chain since you just upgraded the wallet. I did everything what you score. But alas, nothing happens. So you isolate the problem is not resolved. I just lost 3000000000 10K. Great, I'm glad ...  Most cases be patient, wait for someone has a real solution. The following worked for me. Would recommend limiting transactions to under 2billion. Not sure the exact amount but after attempting to send 2billion I got the error above. The error above appears to corrupt the wallet. Luckily I had made backups of the wallet.dat file and reverted to the backup file, dump every other file in roaming\10k folder. I also rebooted, not sure how important that was. Restart and re download the whole chain and there they were. The attempt to send had failed and the coins were still at the original address. I think the crash had corrupted the wallet.dat file. |

Since block explorer is on wrong chain, it's hard to look it up on the web. But if you run the wallet right now it's 200 billion or more. I don't think there is a plan to cap it. I think the experiment portion of it is to test how big it can get. It's still growing very fast 10% of the time it grows at 10,000% which averages out to once or twice a day if your steak shards are large enough. To get priority on the steak the shards need to be large. The coins need to be spent because the block explore only shows 2000 transactions. I guess more importantly the steak shards get too small and never have enough weight to steak. Which gives rise to sending yourself the biggest shard you can which is a problem after 2 billion. I did successfully do a 1.9 billion spend. Got into the 2's and got error quoted above. Figured I had lost them. |

Figured I had lost them because the wallet.dat file got corrupted. Luckily I do run backups and had an earlier version of the wallet.dat available otherwise Ya lost private keys. Lost. Did a withdraw from yoBit and consider them lost because I can see them on block explorer but they never got to my wallet... That was 100 million lost. I believe the exchange sent to me on 1.0.1 wallet. Maybe I could restore backup of that wallet restore it on the 1.0.1 wallet, reclaim amount sent from exchange then upgrade to 2.0.2 wallet? |

oh please give the new coin a new name. neither 10k or balls suite merchant adoption. how about SNOWFLAKES or just FLAKES. since the snowball device will contain a lot of snowflakes it fits the metaphor. just another try here on the name game.  i think the merge is a good idea |

The new coin is pretty much done, just doing a few final tests before I say much more. The swap will be handled on a percentage basis in ONE PLACE, which I will go into more detail of later. All coins from the new chain will be swapped. The exact ratio will be unknown until the final moment before it goes live (for both 10k and BALLS)

It will be:
(10k / (a / 2)) = b
10k * b = c
(BALLS / (a / 2)) = d
BALLS * d = e
The total supply of the merged chain will be a, or c + e. The exact ratio of the swap will be unknown until deposits are closed. It's not going to be a flat rate; half the coins on the new chain are going to BALLS and half are going to 10k, regardless of the amount that are turned in. If less people swap over, each piece of the pie is worth more
EVERY SINGLE COIN ON THE NEW CHAIN WILL BE SWAPPED AT ONE TIME. THERE ARE NO EXTRA COINS AT ALL
