Seems it depends upon the stake weight your total amount of coins give to the whole network, as I was staking faster when I was having 1k coins, and now I have 200 coins and staking slower, but yes, whether you stake fast or slow, your 27-30% per day is guaranteed as you will surely get them in a go in just one single transaction if you haven't received any rewards in past 24 hours. Also, am eager to ask you 1 silly question, did you leave your wallet open though for it to stake?

if you hold your mouse cursor over the little green dot at the bottom of your wallet it wil tell you how much "weight" your coins have so far. with only a small amount and such a high network weight it might take awhile to build up enough weight on your coins to find a block but you will eventually and it will be BIG when it happens... so keep on staking

I think it will start over unless you have some of your coins in any different address with a little time gap, but that is not recommended as it will take more time to get better stakes than getting it in one single address. It won't keep the weight of those 16 days as if that would happen, everyone would be staking tons of coins, and the blockchain would mess up as the network weight will increase to a level we cannot imagine...
