Yeah if wolf0 realese cpu optimization, made equilibrium with nvidia miner,
That makes the CPU optimization completely useless when everyone has it. Why release it? There are two hints so far in this thread, someone just has to compile it. I may sort out a linux version with the two hints I have from public sources later, if nobody else does. EDIT: earlz already did it below

//note: off-by-one error is likely here... for(int i = size - 64 - 1; i >= 64; i -= 64) sha256_hash512(hashbuffer + i - 64, hashbuffer + i);
the minimize i is 127,and the last affect hashbuffer pos is 63 the target compare left 32byte so this code is actually not used. if skip this code, the cpu miner may be 10% faster. sorry for the noob comment but how exactly would somone use this code to help with cpu miner because I have no idea whats going on here By removing it. how would one go about removing this code? he would mine 10% faster. i noticed the gpu miner had removed this code, Yep - djm34 had noticed it too; it's one of the first things I did during my first pass of edits. This change has been pushed to github for the CPU miner. It is not intentional for that optimization to be possible however. This might be fixed in a hard-fork eventually, but not anytime soon... So don't get too use to it being there

...tested coinminers the last 14hours. worked out quite well. the blockoverview is nearly the same on both pools: last 24h = 133%
but would be nice to get some more hash to get faster block times!
Yes, it'll be really good if the hashes are spread over the pools, fees are the same on both pools so you get the same coins. why not rise the fees on your pool to make people think about spreading the hash? I cannot just rise the Fee while miners are mining.. It is like your landlord is rising your rent while you are in the flat Of course you can - it's just a shitty thing to do unless you give them reasonable notice. right! doing nothing has no result. look at it, what we have now 2.3Mhash vs. 0.08Mhash. If you had pushed out a deadline via web/mail and rise the pool fee 2% after 6hours it would be a responsable action every miner should understand. miningpoolhub did that once with JPC - and it helped to get the hash spread

I've got a message on my pool to spread the hash - now even in red color and in bold. I'm posting in the thread several times to spread the hash to the other pools. I've helped a lot to get the other pools up an running and I'm active all the time to keep things going. Closing regs makes no sense since Suprnova has SSO (Single-Sign-On) and most of the accounts mining are old and not new registered ones. What i'm not doing and never did is force people to mine on my pool - they can switch their miners if they like but what i'm also not doing is setting a "deadline" of some kind until a certain "thing" happens to make it unattractive to mine on my pool because of high fees or whatever.. Some people started their miner(s) hours ago and don't watch the thread so closely and they come back and find out that fee's have doubled while they were away.. Well... Who's scamming now ? I do anything I can for the community - I'm doing that a long time, I share everything I can and I help where I can but I won't shoot my miners in the back - forget it.

I do anything I can for the community - I'm doing that a long time, I share everything I can and I help where I can but I won't shoot my miners in the back - forget it. It is part of life. People go where they get the best service and with well known brands. Running a pool is subject to the same business rules than any other business e.g. service, quality, brand, skillz, marketing etc. In this case all these things come together to ensure blocks at day 0 and then customers stick with their loyalty. Management is rewarded through good service out of the blocks. In any other business if one brand attracts more business it is the up to the management of the other brands to apply business principles to attract customers e.g. marketing, services etc. Applying artificial measures to change these natural processes does not make sense and is not sustainable. If it means more people go to one pool then that is how it is. The only risk with this is a 51% attack but if Suprnova does that it will be the quickest way out of business so the risk is low and more a theoretical one. It is also extraordinary that someone with a lot of business is helping competitors and is not seen often in the business world. I am sure management of other pools are doing stuff to attract more customers (marketing etc.) and when that happens things will be ok.

So like i said on irc channel , even if ocminer set 5% or maybe 10% (10 is to much) fee the miners still will mine on suprnova , the miner just see that my pool did not found a block for 4 - 5 hours and thei think that something is wrong with the pool , but everything is ok , i have checked the stratum every now and then , i have checked the crons , the crons ar ok , the wallet is ok , i will try to change the stratum . Is the miners choice to spread or not to spread the hash
