first attempt at amd: it is very preliminary and will display lots of hw errors (which are false actually... ) performance are terrible and for the moment I can't go passed 13~14 in intensity (will optimize tomorrow spent most of my day fixing stupid problems...) For the moment win binaries, the source will be released tomorrow: http://ge.tt/2571TvA2/v/0?c good job.

Careful with your words there. Do not forget who created the first optimized AMD CPU miner for PLUCK algorithm, and the countless other things he did for the community (Wolf0). Both DJM34 and Wolf0 are invaluable assets in the crypto community.

Most of the rest here just consume for personal gain driven by greed. Count how many posts are here "when will the optimized miner be ready", "where is the AMD miner" etc.

Can you post a link to something great that you have developed and shared? No comment? Didnt think so. Devs are not obliged to share anything. The rewards for years of dev skills and countless hours looking at computer screens are to provide themselves with a competitive advantage to enhance their own wealth position in a capitalist society. However the devs here do share so that guys like you can make money as well. FYI if wolf0 did not post a miner no-one would have been able to mine SUP. So STFU and GTFO.

You are just one of those people that take everything for granted. You clearly haven't been around long enough to see what Wolf0 has done for the community- massive optimizations for the X-Algorithms, creation of a CPU miner for Monero's algorithm (Cryptonight)- and that is to name a few. They spend countless hours in front of a monitor, utilizing a skillset that can get them paid somewhere in the high 3-4 figures/day, and developing mining software for people they don't even know. Before you talk bad about a developer, use your brain.

Lets do a bit of visioning...
Imagine a crypto world in future where masses can mine and generate their own money, with true broad based distribution (BBD) and true broad based acceptance (BBA) outside the crypto community and everyone with a personal computing device (fixed or mobile) can participate.
This could help people in poor third world communities to generate wealth for themselves even if it is just dust. For those, dust will be more than they are used to. Few people have the means to buy expensive GPU and ASICs. Many can however afford a CPU since they need a CPU to do many things in their normal life in anyways like write a letter. True BBD will enhance true BBA.
It is therefore not far fetched (assuming POW is the way to go) to have a strategy of developing CPU mining and methods to limit POW mining to CPUs only as far as possible. It is however an outcome of human nature (greed) to want to have one's own high tech equipment and working miners to maximise your own wealth over others. This works against the principle of true BBD and true BBA. I would therefore put some money on it that the future of successful POW crypto lies in the ability to have POW work on low tech equipment with measures to limit that to low tech equipment as far as possible. The importance of low tech development like CPU and the people involved in it can not be overstated.

[09:50:54] Re-check your configuration and try restarting. Press enter to continue: Any ideas? window7 64bit,14.9 driver please help me,thanks! Use this: http://sup.hardcoreminers.com/amdbin.zipIt has the missing files in it. It's just the same bug, missing dll please check it If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also copy libcurl.dll to C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ but I still miss libpdcurses.dll could you please add libpdcurses.dll into the miner files ? Ok updated it with a lot of dll files. If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place each .dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file). Reboot your computer. If the problem still occurs, try the following: Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...". Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)). Type regsvr32 filename.dll (all you copied over) and press Enter. So, use this for latest AMD miner with upgrades: http://sup.hardcoreminers.com/amdbin.zipWhy Kaspersky says UDS:DangerousObject.Multi.Generic and deletes sgminer.exe?
