I am asking for 0.1 BTC, going to use it for poker - I am better than the avarage player. Collateral: a lvl 14 PrimeDice account (https://i.imgur.com/bRctToy.jpg) and an account on Waffles.fm (music torrent site with a great community) with over 150GB more upload than downloadhttp://www.filedropper.com/pokerhands here are a few hands - improved a lot since those hands though (the ones from 2013 at least). I have a folder with over 100GB poker videos that I've been watching to learn better. 2+2 usename is ShouldBeFine.

Do you have any Stats, ROI, PT/HEM graphs, previous username (for stats sites), etc?
People asking poker staking + talking about 150% returns, always seem silly to me (as a hobby yet profitable poker player.)
Also it's unclear what you are offering. 0% or 150% ? Or % of profits? Or life-time all profits? Or .. ? Within which time frame? Etc.

I had a ton of hands saved, but my previous computer crashed and they all got lost with it. But I've made a profit from playing poker - not a huge one but when I play I don't lose money. Took me 6 wasted deposits á $50 at pokerstars before I turned the losing to winning. What I am offering is 150% of the investment, but that can be discussed with the person willing to stake. My username on stars/FTP is s!ckhouse.

I am going to give away my name on betcoin poker client, send screenshots whenever requested, they also have a transaction history so that's no problem.

I have played poker for several years, over 200k hands at pokerstars alone. I recently tried bitcoin poker and there are a lot more fish there than on fiat sites, but I don't have the capital to play. I know what BRM is and how to handle it, the site I will be playing at is Betcoin.ag, will mostly play cash games but also some tournaments. I am asking for 0.1 BTC for this, I don't have any collateral to leave HOWEVER you will get 150% (sum can be discussed) of your investment back if things go my way (I know I am a better player than most people there, but there is always the RNG factor). I am going to play at micro levels to begin with and then hopefully be able to go up to low stakes. I NEVER tilt, I don't find online poker that funny, therefore I am only in it to win it. The highest stakes I've played at has been NL10 where I managed to go +-0. If you got further questions go ahead and ask Why dont you have capital if u are so good? I dont get it...

Is this considered as begging though? I leave a reward in return, I wouldn't fucking risk this account over $20 either way. I was a bit unsure myself, gonna report the thread myself and see if it can stay. Why anyone would do this? FIAT people stakes total morons (Isildur1 prime example) for millions of dollars knowing that they will most likely lose their money.

If you are asking for money without the promise of returning anything of value then you are asking for a donation.
You are taking on zero risk as part of this "deal" if you win then you profit, if you lose then the "lender" takes all the losses.
People risk their own money when gambling. I am not aware of anyone who is lending fiat money to poker players.

Why the hell would any lender want to do this? The potential loss is 100%, but the potential gain is 50%. I'd be better off even if I played foolishly myself.

I agree that I am taking zero risk, however if I win we both profits. Not aware of anyone lending money to poker players? http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/135/staking-seeking-stakes/ http://www.highstakesdb.com/community/topic/28099-isildur1-now-playing/page-1011How about googling?

I edited the OP to say that the sum can be discussed. Some people have much BTC, and wants to make people happy, not knowing poker themselves they may want to see their own money in play... Hell I don't know I've never understood why people stake in the first time. But you can't get a no unless you ask.

You should borrow from those people then. I do however have my doubts that people are handing out no recourse loans to poker players. Doing so would be moronic.

I am not aware of anyone who is lending fiat money to poker players. Actually staking poker players is a normal thing and definitely more like an investment than a loan. Fiat staking happens on sites like 2p2, chipmeup.com and for seals (bitcoin) there is http://sealsdeals.info . Most times staking deals are tournaments though since it's easier to track/agree on. I have personally staked many many bitcoins on the latter one on good players. With tournaments it's a bit easier, if buy-in is 0.01 BTC, I could stake someone for 0.005 BTC (half) for 45% total winnings. Obviously I would stake only good players with a good statistical ROI especially if there is that mark-up (not 1:1 value, 50% for 45%.) The reason why someone would want a stake even if he's good, is because you should have around 100 buy-ins since variance can be rough. So if a player "only" has 0.5 BTC it can be good to be staked for half the buyin at a 0.01 tourney. That being said, I personally never fully-stake people (I think a decent player should have some bankroll) and I am not very confident it will be an EV+ situation here. I don't consider it as begging though. edit: and like I said, I think the "promise" or goal of 150% is a bit vague/strange. Although I am mostly experienced with tournament staking so I am not sure what the best way is for cash game staking.

How can you have your doubts after the links I just provided? Any poker player with experience will confirm that staking happens, and it happens frequently...
