Just like to let you ppl know . If you have intension to buy pi on your own to install cbx vault I suggest NOT DO. after 4 days of trying. I'm giving up . Our vault use a old db library which can no longer be found to download to the best of my knowledge. Unless u plan on buying the pi from here!!

Morning, m33. Thanks for that info.

Keep an eye on this, guys:  http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-06-03/saudi-said-to-ban-currency-products-after-probe-into-peg-bets

Every drama with a national currency makes cryptos a more acceptable investment.
If you want to test actual Pi version contact me.
If you want to know how to compile on Pi I can also help you.

I am still searching tester for Pi, it's very hard to get some tester actually so I would love to get some, because i can't test it on my Pi B+ so I really need it...

PS: every coin, even Bitcoin are using old DB version, when you start with a version of it nobody change because it's hard to deal with the local db migration without losing your private key (private key=your fund)

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

What's the minimum Pi version that we can use so we could check how much will it cost us to make use of it?

You must use a Raspberry Pi 2 B at minimum (in fact any board with 1 gb of ram is enough).
And you need a MicroSD of 16 gb (8gb is ok but i recommend a 16gb to be sure) and this microsd should be a microsd of class 10 to have a good I/O speed

Although my technical understanding of The Pi Thang is abysmally bad, I gather from other IndiaMikeZulu guys that I should get one. So I will eventually get one!

My personal interest in cryptos is political, hence my interest in developing them as (non-governmental) currencies -- not necessarily to make a buck, but to provide an alternative to our deeply corrupt political and banking models.

Want CBX to literally thrive? If every CBX enthusiast set up just one family member and one friend with a backed-up-and-synched wallet, and then starting buying and selling things with others in that network -- 'currency function' -- our volume and then price would steadily rise. Then, when-not-if the yuan and riyal and pound and dollar and yen and the euro really start falling to bits, CBX will be established as an alternative.

One thing I know about Pi is that it's your micro computer with very minimal power requirements so we can have our vaults in there instead of our PC/laptop for staking purposes. It would be very beneficial to those who are having thousands of coins as staking 24/7 having such amount of coins will make ROI a lot faster. Not sure if it can also be used to stake other coins alongside CBX but google has forums regarding those so it seems possible.

I entered the CBX lottery. Wa ha ha! (I'm not usually a lottery kinda guy.)

And if you only pay attention to one statistic in the whole financial world, let it be this one (the 1-yr. chart):

http://money.cnn.com/data/world_markets/se_composite/

41.7% at this point.

Well, I joined in as well to this test run. So far so good so I guess a 'real' one will be released right after.

That's a huge drop, big loss to their investors definitely.

I guess, you weren't able to read the link. It's about another commodity having a huge drop not related to CBX.
CBX is still alive and kicking. It seems there are a lot of things in the background and the lottery is the first one out for testing.
