Yeah, the whole thing with Majika and KryptoLyding was really disappointing.
My impression of the events at the time was that KL was running the coin like a scam and promising more and more that Majika was not prepared to implement in any sort of short time frame. KL eventually cut and run once the weight of his promises started the hype tower crumbling. After KL took off, the early adopters (myself included) we're pissed and vented at Majika who couldn't deal with the stress and poofed.
I don't really hold it against Majika, he seems like he actually wanted to do something cool with the coin and KL took advantage of him and all of his early adopters. I could be wrong of course, and Majika could have been in on it, but he keeps popping back up to do something with the coin every now and again, so I think he actually cared about it to some extent.
If we get this network running again, it wouldn't be to continue the legacy of KL's promises. It would just be to get some functional use out of a well-aged blockchain that has, somewhat miraculously, stood the test of time and still has users.

I see there still is interest in this coin. I'm still running the wallet on a regular basis. The blockchain is healthy. With some effort we could get it back on track.

Can you tell me when your block explorer will be synchronised? My wallet is currently showing 1041834 created blocks while your explorer shows 1017912 at this moment. Can you share the nodes you are connected to? I would like to add them to my conf file. Thank you! |
