SO glad I stopped using BTER months before this happened shame to see it happened and many other exchanges getting hacked. but the question comes did they really get hacked or just another cover up story to move away. If really got hacked and everyone at loss then indeed it is a shame and is going to take some work to recover from it or to even continue business. I think with every exchange should have some sort of reserve funds that have enough capital and insurance for unseen events happening to put into the business as a security locked up sealed until such events happen and can easily recover with insurances.
I do not think the hacker(s) attacked the exchange with a remote attack.... what the hell, how it is possible attack an offline computer (a cold wallet)  ? Nice reply.
However Bter we are still waiting a full explanation of what was happened that day. |

BTER don't want to withdraw my ARCH for quite a few weeks...
Suggest not using BTER services.
Did they solve your withdrawal ? I see they still have problems with deposits and withdrawals.. It seems they lost control over my msc deposit address since they stopped moving funds from the deposit address to the hot wallet.. |

Did they solve your withdrawal ? I see they still have problems with deposits and withdrawals.. It seems they lost control over my msc deposit address since they stopped moving funds from the deposit address to the hot wallet.. No, they didn't solve it. Bye bye to bter. |

Sold ARCH (a few days ago) and make (successfull) BTC withdrawal. So in some way they are operating for sure. |

I don't trust my bitcoins with any third party, learned my lesson with Mintpal Can I ask you if you have lost some coin in the bter hack and how much did you lose in the mintpal one? |

Just used it for a piddly trade last night. It all worked absolutely fine and very rapidly. It's a real shame they blew it because I did like using it as a site. I'll continue dabbling but I'm really not sure about major trades. |

And right now what goes wrong scrypt.cc no longer can trust Btc to Third Parties. you lose more in digital currency, than real money. |

I withdrawed all coins from Bter and not gonna return, too low volume to risk money there. |

I request Qora again and got instant  , but other coin (asiacoin) still in pending status since 2015-06-15 |
