Some of the blockchain-based cards are divisible. How does that work in terms of gameplay? If I own half a SatoshiCard I can't use it in the game right?
That's not true. You cant buy half a card You can buy even 1 satoshi of some (old) card So you should be very careful while selling it on the CounterParty exchange as a bad buyer can spoil it Recently I had my buy order partially fulfilled (it was Ripple card), so I did not get the whole card - well, it does not appear on the team tab or somewhere else in the game. Are you referring to the sogassets.com exchange. Have you successfully purchased from there or where ever you did before? I bought a card using the Indie counter wallet and it took almost 3 days to come thru. Then I switched to book of orbs and haven't had a problem since I buy cards in the Book of Orbs, for BCY. There is no difference between IndieSquare and Book of Orbs in terms of the time needed to complete the order, it all depends on the fee you pay for the order placement and it is possible to change the fee in both wallets.

12 hours - so you do not know what FOREVER means My order to buy EDS card was fulfilled in a week (if not more) after its initiation.

Slowness is due to Bitcoin transaction fees, if you pay a higher fee (and you can set it in Book of Orbs) transactions should be reasonably quick.

Yeah, That's what I mean. If you look on sogassets.com under Divisibility you can see there are 11 cards in the list that are divisible. I don't really like that aspect. I mean sure, the value can still increase so buyers can potentially still profit from the partial purchase if they can find a willing buyer who doesn't care about using the card in the game... but it seems to me you lose a lot of value with the loss of game functionality. Anyway, I have a few divisible cards that I would be willing to sell but I don't want to offer them if buyers can cut them up in parts. It just seems like a waste. Is there a way for me to offer "full sale or nothing"? If not, it would be a welcome feature.

Yes, it's definitely a much desirable feature, which could be implemented (I only guess eg inside the Book of Orbs. Another (more simple & more complicated at the same time) way is for EDS to make a swap of old divisible cards/assets for non-divisible.

The best way to sell divisible cards without worrying about people buying a fraction only is sell P2P (but there could be trust issues) or to use Tokenly Swapbots, I believe it costs $5 a month for the service. https://swapbot.tokenly.com/This way people buys from the bot and get the full card only.

The cards in the store you see in the game are not blockchain cards they are free in-game cards. Blockchain cards are sold directly by the team on Swapbots or by third parties in the Book of Orbs Android and iOS apps. But, eventually you will be able to turn them into blockchain cards (by quad-fusing them) in the near future when the functionality is implemented in the game. It's in the roadmap In-game tokens are 3: Gold, Crystals, and Gems: - Gold: you earn it by playing and completing levels/tasks/achievements, allows you to purchase cards in the in-game store. - Crystals: you earn them by crystallizing cards you get in-game and for completing certain tasks/achievements, allow you to level up cards and fuse them. - Gems: you get them by purchasing them in the game store, allow you to refill your stamina when it's low. BCY cannot be used in-game yet I believe because of restrictions from Google and Apple stores where you can't sell assets outside their system. However they can be used outside the game as mentioned above.

I do not think it's the case, at least for the Google Play, as there are several games in it where the players can get rewards in crypto, eg Bella Chess& btw we have Book of Orbs & IndieSquare where we can trade assets, in both stores

So I doubt any BCY in-game is going to happen with apple anytime soon.

https://sogassets.com/Find it there to see the stats! As far as I understand, you own the cards once you quad fuse them and blockchain them, but that is not implemented yet(the blockchain part). Very curious to see how it will play out.

Google and Apple take a 30% cut from all sales it's in their interest to prevent that. If the game doesn't use in-app purchases they may get around it, like you said rewards for the game you mentioned. Same for BoO they don't use in-app purchases but the Counterparty DEX to match orders. Agree that BoO is the best place to get yer cards with BCY

As soon as Book of Orbs is a companion app for the SoG, surely it has to show the cards as they are seen in the SoG, with all the stat etc. Think we shall apply to the BoO dev

Certainly tweeting about it and showing the game to friends who are into this type of gameplay and trading cards can only help.
