Hey dev/guys
Just wondering when C-Cex will complete maint on the GLIDEsec wallet. I'm ready to transfer my GLIDEsec to my NXT asset account. If the dev could follow up with this, that would be great.
Thank you,
Kyle
C-Cex is updating NXT core... Said 10-20 minutes earlier...

Ok, I got some Glide here on c-cex. How do I transfer them to "SAE"? Or am I missing something? What do I need to do?
I'm trying to understand this but there's a huge chunk of information. What can I do with this coin/asset? Is there dividends I can earn from it? Can someone explain this to me in a simple way?
Thanks a lot!

Running your own NXT node is the best-case scenario, but having an NXT wallet on the SAE works too if you don't want to spend hours downloading the blockchain. Head over to https://trade.secureae.com/ and click Sign Up to create an account. Pay attention to the signup steps because you need to create a username and the passphrase will be automatically generated for you - which is safe but must be saved exactly, spaces and all. Its a good idea to write down your address once you get logged in, then log out and log back in to make sure you got the right passphrase before doing any transactions. Keep in mind you will need NXT to send anything out of an NXT-based wallet (GlideSEC is an NXT asset). The tx fee is generally 1 NXT per tx whenever NXT or NXT assets are sent from SAE or C-CEX or any NXT wallet for that matter. The address you get when signing up at SAE will hold NXT as well as any NXT based assets such as GlideSEC. GlideSEC pays weekly dividends in the form of NXT to the NXT address where the GlideSEC is held. Many assets pay some form of dividend. Also, on Saturday, GlideCOIN is going to be distributed to holders of GlideSEC in the form of a bearer-asset that will be redeemable for actual GlideCOIN when the wallets become available as per ActualUpsurge (who is the GlideSEC manager). I hope that helps.

I don't understand much about that NXT that need to be sent as well and how exactly do I move my Glide (which I think is Glidesec) from c-cex to SAE.

Its not too difficult, just give it a go. You will need to purchase NXT from C-CEX before you can send your GlideSEC to SAE. NXT assets (like GlideSEC) move on the NXT blockchain so you have to pay the transaction fee to be able to initiate the transaction. I edited my post above some to make it more clear, have a look. I am logging off for the night but there will be others who might be able to help you if you need more assistance.

This is all very confusing to be honest... -___- GLIDE trading on C-cex is actually GlideSEC right?
GlideCOIN is not launched yet, right?
Correct, Glide is GlideSEC, the NXT asset that is trading on C-CEX. GlideCOIN is not yet launched but will initially be an NXT asset for distribution purposes, however it will be swappable for an actual coin that will have a blockchain of its own. However, you need to have your GlideSEC in an NXT-based wallet (such as SAE) in order to receive the NXT-asset GlideCOIN that will be distributed to holders of GlideSEC in their wallets that they will hold until the actual GlideCOIN wallets are made available.

Correct - this is what I just found out. This has nothing to do with GLIDEsec directly. The wallet will be enabled after NXT sync. See above posts for further detail Thanks! BTW, I think things would be a lot more clear if the ticker for GlideSEC could be changed to something like $GLIDESEC or $GLISEC or $GLIDES or whatever instead of just $GLIDE. Calling Glidesec just $Glide can cause a lot of confusion regarding the GlideCOIN that actually has nothing to do with it. And would be cool to call the GlideCoin something like $GLIDEX or $GLIX. Just throwing some suggestions out there to avoid the trouble that I went through to figure this out.

Do i send both my NXT and GLIDE at the same time to my NXT address? :s or do just send GLIDE over? & c-cex takes x amount of Nxt?

Just send the Glidesec and the NXT is taken automatically. If you have 10 NXT or so on C-Cex and the same in your NXT wallet you should be good to send a few GlideSec transactions back and forth should you need to.

All this nxt stuff was new to me and I can see why some people would be reluctant to do it.
I followed the instructions that were posted here and only sent a small amount glidesec the first time, now I send a few K at a time. What threw me was the fee from c-cex as 3 glide and as a standard is the 1 nxt fee for the transaction.
all relatively simple if you take your time and send small amounts to test the waters with

may i know why you will not burn the 1,600,000 coins now rather than when you claim to distribute coins. i do not understand the reasoning. surely to build some confidence you'd burn them before distribution. it does not make sense for you to hold them. only reason so it could be dumped as people buy. given there are not enough buy orders. there is no proof this is legit nor clear proof it is a scam. as far as identity it don't mean anything look at pfc, pyc.
hope it works out for those taking the risk but not for me. high risk high reward but please don't moan later winner or losers.
