The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

There could be a good side to Havelock being in maintenance.

The crypto crew are a fairly re-active, or dare I say over-reactive, or dare I say, hyper-reactive lot.

If Havelock had remained online, they could have made a serious mess of the stock price for absolutely no reason other than sheer panic, like they do.

Site will be back up Today Monday March 2nd.

All orders Bid/Ask currently in the orderbook will be cleared.

Today you may view and verify the holdings of your account. The Units of the Funds you own and the BTC balance in your account.

As to allow everyone enough time to reposition their Bids/Asks the trading engine will only resume on Wednesday.

All site activities will resume on Wednesday March 4th.

Those activities include Trading, Deposits and Withdraws.

We apologize for the long delay that our users have had to go through during the past week.

Thank you,

The Havelock

Would like to take a moment to cut through all of the emotion and thank you for working towards meeting your commitment for relaunching for today. I dislike experiencing these down times and lack of access to my assets as much as the rest of you, trust me on this. The securities industry is full of examples of bad actors and has helped foster an environment where fear and paranoia are ever prevalent.

So long as Wednesday sees a full reestablishment of services, this will be a positive example for reference in the future of a Bitcoin company that has stood by its commitments.

if everything checks out on weds,   this might be the first time a small/medium size  btc company  actually cameback like they said they would

Havelock site is up, I am logged in and all btc and funds are exactly where they should be. Now to get AMHash to pay us our back dividends.

Are you kidding me? Actually, the site only shows the administrators - all trustees. Not the owners. In 2008, the owners were a couple of companies like Charterway Investments, Latin Investor Network and Calle Capital - all again shelf companies administered by the same people. In 2013, the company obviously was transferred to other administrators. However, it is not clear who the real owners are.

Pointing to trustees and escrows is silly.

So the question still remains: Who owns Havelock?

Dear Havelock:

No dividend payments from  BMINE (which pays daily dividends) have posted since 22 February 2015.

So when are those back dividends going to post?   My bitcoin balance is missing these dividends payments because these dividends have not posted.

So generally what is going on with BMINE?  When are dividends going to start again?  When are the back dividends going to post?

Thanks,
JEMILES

I guess sarcasm gets stuck in the intertubes, I'll be more direct:
Yes, The Panama Fund is a shelf.
No, you will not learn who the owner is because it was created specifically to obfuscate such information.
If you feel that lightbox sold the website, and only stayed on as a tech consultant, I'm not going to try to convince you otherwise.
Nothing will be done anyhow, Because BitcoinTM.

Ooookay and sorry, I'm not very fluent regarding Sarcasm :-)

Lighthouse, indeed, is funny, and I guess the guys at the Canadian Bitcoin Foundation (or however they call themselfes) should shake some of their members...

Panama, btw, is a funny thing: Some of the guys who were involved in the company are also involved in some major frauds. The DA's office there isn't very pleased about the fact that the company is again getting in the public focus, so let's see what happens there next...

Well done Havelock team for resurrecting your website, you have earned some respect for doing that, should you allow trading and withdraws on Wednesday as you say you then you will have proved some people here wrong and earned more respect within the Bitcoin world which seems to be full of scammers and ponzis.
I personally hold no BTC on Havelock just Amhash shares which is another story, ironically it seemed Havelock would go down but seems it may be the other way round, lets hope Amhash and Asicminers have some plan.

Well done? Why? What? Bringing a page online again?

And yeah, a sock puppet like you may show them some respect, however, as long as there is no full disclosure about who's behind it, I'm pretty cautious.

Not until Wednesday.

Forgive my petulance and oft-times, I fear, ill-founded criticisms, and forgive me that I have, by this time, made your eyes and head ache with my long letter. But I cannot forgo hastily the pleasure and pride of thus conversing with you.
