Let's get that going. <-- Today did research on licenses & crowdfunding.

A few days ago, I had an idea how a direct monetization could work;
at 5:19 a.m. in the morning. Immediately was wide awake, and started
scribling, and researching tools. Hope to soon find time to start coding it .

I have to consider all routes that money can take, to come my way. New
profile at gratipay (they support BTC) - new & shiny gratipay button :-)

Studying day. Found the coolest project ever, and read interesting pages.
e.g.: AltFolio is partly OpenSource (frontend & its GoogleAppsScript), and
partly SaaS (Software as a service): GoogleSheets itself and my own
dataserver that collects & caches & standardizes data from the exchanges,
provides the serialcode licensing system, etc. Stallman, forgive me please ;-)

Yesterday was great, too. I almost finished a new spreadsheet, that analyzes &
presents voting poll results (our nxthacks voting as starting point.). Stay tuned.

Big News for AltFolio: New Dataserver! Not without a reason ( ... mysterious insinuation ...) I have put a giant ton of work into the AltFolio dataserver backend: A new, shiny, secure & fast server, which I completely rebuilt. Upgraded to newest security, and Debian8, with 6 intermediate snapshots, ** base system, security measures ** bash, profile, scripts, configurations ** python django uwsgi nginx testproject ** app config, migrated app, run as user ** webserver config, migrated www pages, ** chaincountdown is now perfectly insulated in docker ** when all ready, hammer_server.py measurements: *** different droplets worldwide & uwsgi settings, chose "New York 2" ** perfect plan for DNS switching, copied & backuped everything. It went smooth - with minimum downtime! And tonight, I was finally ready. What a relief. A mountain of work is behind me. Actually, I have learned so much in these days, that I may be able to help you, if any of the above questions are on your plate. Linux whole stack - yippieh! And while I was on it, I had many ideas for the AltFolio dataserver APP itself, and made many little improvements, upgraded my "hammer_server.py" tool, etc. For really technical people ... see history.txt - then please share your thoughts...! Bottom line: I have done some tests with my own sheetcopy. It seems to run even better. Faster & less missing values - I have not repeated pressing "update" even once! Now the avalanche of new AltFolio users can come ...
