Not sure about everyone else but I got an error message first time i opened it. Tried again worked
EXCEPTION: St13runtime_error CDB() : can't open database file , error 1 C:\***\***\***\FonzieCoin-Qt-1.0.0.0-Win\FonzieCoin-Qt.exe in Runaway exception
That's an old issue, unrelated. Just open again. That's the target limit. That is a bottom for the diff. 3000 diff corresponds to >> 44. hmm.. but if you compare with every other sha256 coin: https://github.com/el3ab/xcoin/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L41That's a low diff for instamining. We can try it. I'll keep the starting diff at >> 44 and then put the target limit at >> 20. I doubt that will work, but OK. I'll get a new windows wallet in 20 minutes. We can try again. Don't confuse https://github.com/fonziecoin/fonzie/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L43with https://github.com/fonziecoin/fonzie/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L40. The first one can stay at 44, thats okay, but the latter one has to be 20 IMHO. I'll be here, just post when you have the new GenesisBlock in the code/github and I'll recompile and we can test

First blocks are less reward anyway. Make a working diff.

Yeah, just make first blocks 0 reward and leave retarget as it is in working coins

Is that meant to be run in testnet or live? It gives genesis block error.

Nope, that CANNOT work, as expected, since your genesis block was already mined with the wrong diff: fonziecoind: main.cpp:2654: bool LoadBlockIndex(bool): Assertion `block.GetHash() == (!fTestNet ? hashGenesisBlock : hashGenesisBlockTestNet)' failed. You'll HAVE to recompile everything with the right diff and create a new genesis block. I'd recommend the following steps: 1. Set a new countdown for the next 8-10 hours 2. Mine a new genesis 3. Test all the stuff 4. Launch flawlessly later... Everything else is just "Fonzie" IMHO ;-)

Yeah, you are right. I'm updating the genesis hash right now.

Okay. I'm beat for the day. It's late here and I'm getting a little hazy. I'll set a new countdown and test. I don't think this is a retarget problem, but I'll look deeper into it. Let's make the relaunch 7:30 AM UTC Mar. 10. That will give us 2 days. Sorry guys. Thanks for understanding. It will still be a fair launch, even if not smooth.

You'd just need a new genesis block now and you'd be good

It should just say waiting for work from available pools if your running cgminer or a variant, Once the wallet is back online the work will be picked up by your miner. I've done this many times when my internet drop sometimes and i don't realise but it still stays open till it reconnects
