Just testing out this tutorial first time making a signed message as well. You have to include the bitcoin address you're signing from Evildrum, without knowing which address was used to sign the message, there's no possible way to know if the message verifies or not.
After your edit (address added), the message verifies ( online link).

Was trying to finish that by pasting all the details and then going back to the original post to copy the format and throw everything in order. Hard to do when I had some one yacking at me on the other end of the phone. Appreciate you verifying this for me. Aslo thanks for that link, now I need to learn how to verify a message.

I think this is kinda outdated now as the new wallet now has all the old functions up and running. Yes you can sign with the new wallet ATM. Good luck

There is no option for a new address to get the private keys if you are planning to sign a message for it; indeed, you can only do that for imported addresses only which is the old one. Once you upgrade your account to the beta version there's no going back.

You click on the little # symbol that reads "insert code" when you hover over it (on a PC). It will create code tags for you. Inside these code tags you paste the text from the code block in this post and replace message, address and signature with your data. -----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- message -----BEGIN SIGNATURE----- address signature -----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- This is Conus This is my current Bitcoin Address -----BEGIN SIGNATURE----- 1ChGMGUJqxVSEJChCU7U7uQCjpMeoKuYAM H5PtU9ChXlwb2Wcm/LoI8g25tUsgCWWGIcCAEXceu493WsrhTqLipBwImz6EvaIFlqaicULT1UIz6tMM0TQknRM= -----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

I just searched for an IOS wallet that is able to sign a message. Thought that mycelium could do the job but that option isn't available on IOS only on android version. Is there any option available that works on IOS so I can easy sign a message.

@shorena There's another (easier) way to get the private keys in blockchain.info new wallet using https://dcpos.github.io/bip39/. It was posted here. I think running it offline should be safe enough.
