Hi, I am using www.unocoin.com for my BTC wallet, It is an Indian BTC wallet provider. I dont know how to sign a message with their BTC address, can anyone here suggest me a way to sign a message with unocoin BTC address. I don't know if that wallet you are using is supported by a sign message .It is better to pick some wallets in the OP and follow the steps then you are good to go and signed message. I signed up to the wallet for the purpose of seeing whether they have that function. It appears that the wallet doesn't have that feature. Unocoin is an online wallet - this means that they are holding your coins for you. If they allow you to have access to your private keys, you can sign a message - but it doesn't appear that they do. You should consider moving your coins to a personal wallet if you want to do this.

Is there a way to sign a message using the new Blockchain.info wallet? In the old version it was quite easy. But in the new version, they seems to have removed this functionality. Actually, this is quite frustrating.

You can't sign messages with addressss created in new Blockchain.info wallet. If you have imported private key or if your addresses were created in old Bloclchain.info wallet, you can sign messages. If you want to sign messages with addresses created from new Blockchain.info wallet, you will have to first get private key of that address from seed (aka 12-word recovery phrase) and then import private key to a wallet or use a program only for signing messages. https://github.com/iancoleman/bip39

How to get the private key of this wallet? I have the 12-word recovery phase with me (written down in paper).

Enter your 12-word seed (aka recovery phrase) in "BIP39 Mnemonic". Scroll down and you will see your addresses and private key corresponding to each one. Import private key of the address you want to sign with into a wallet such as Electrum, Bither or Blockchain.info or use a tool like https://github.com/weex/bitcoin-signature-tool. If you want to sign message with a "change" address, change '0' to '1' in "External/Internal".

In case of coinbase Id try to contact their support. I contract to coinbase support but there is no response. It may take several days to get a response from them. So I have to wait.. as coinbase said "Notice: Our support team is currently under heavy load and may take several days to respond. Please check our help docs and forum for solutions to most problems."

Doesn't took long enough thank you. just to make sure. is this what signature looks like? -----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- This is julerz12 of bitcointalk.org signing this address: 1KQrcHGoo2KFNFvnkYExxJY8TUJXFgJ1QR as proof of ownership on 7/20/2017. -----BEGIN SIGNATURE----- 1KQrcHGoo2KFNFvnkYExxJY8TUJXFgJ1QR H/4eGLetfs0b1h8jPsebprQkshiWffh4jEZ0YUFNYxlq7LF07Gr4noWFUNhfcTmfRzZBiItvjJcjvMTdTelKFEA= -----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- Also, I picked that address ( 1KQrcHGoo2KFNFvnkYExxJY8TUJXFgJ1QR ) on the very top list of generated addresses. ('cause there seems to be alot of addresses listed when it was generated ) won't that be a problem? I used the BIP39 Mnemonic i had on blockchain.info.

Hi! I am using coins.ph . How can I sign a message using it?
Well i think it's not possible to do that, you basically do not own your private key and coins.ph it's just an exchange wallet. Better sign a message using address that you hold/provide the private key as well.

You need to wait because it is normally a few seconds to wait until it appear or if the signature already appears copy it right after .If it not works try signing in different browser .I hope it helps.

I guess I have to use something like an app from blockchain wallet? Is it possible with that?

No , you can't find and signed message in app. Open it in a browser ,you can also sign a message with other wallets not only blockchain . Coins.ph doesn't support any signed message feature .Read the OP post in the firet page and follow the steps .
