Does it have to be a Bitcoin address? I just tried to unlock my locked account with an NXT address that was posted in a post from my old account.
Well the topics says "Stake your bitcoin address" So yes it has to be bitcoin address. I don't know that it can be possible too with NXT Address because we have to sing message with it too. Does NXT addresses allow us to sign messages? Yes, I was able to post my current user name, my former user name, today's date and sent the link to a mod. Along to the link where I posted that address two years ago. I twice started a "Stake your AltCoin Wallet Address and it was twice removed by "BitCoin Forum", so it would seem very likely that staking another coin's wallet address would get the same kind of reception (the thread link is in my signature)... Oh man. That sucks. I really want my account back. The proof is all right there in my Altcoin blockchain, but so was reseting it with my email and that wasn't proof enough. Hopefully I'll get lucky.

Why the thread has been removed did you talked with any one of moderators? Or did they gave you any reasom for doing that? I guess this is a bitcoin related forum that is why it is removed. Well only one thread about "Stake Your Altcoin Address" will cover all the altcoins so it must be on board.
@ja23 why don't you stake any bitcoin address it isn't so hard!
I was able to speak to someone quite a while later and they indicated it was due to this being a BitCoin forum and there is already a "Stake your Wallet Address" thread. So no Alt Coin staking here (just mention one from time to time in a relevant thread post). Eventually I'll do it with this account. But this is not my main account, the other one is.

@Lauda: Your post has been modified after it has been quoted which is not what I would consider "safe" Also, wouldn't it be better to post in the The BCT PGP/GPG Public Key Database: Stake Your PGP Key Here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1159946.0 thread, after all, we don't want threads ending up being arbitrarily removed - do we?

Do not feed the Trolls. That's pretty smart actually for using 3 addresses, but how if someone has an access of 1 of the address? I mean, are you sure you have a good security for all of those addresses?

That's pretty smart actually for using 3 addresses, but how if someone has an access of 1 of the address? I mean, are you sure you have a good security for all of those addresses? The most any hacker would get is the BTC 0.1 that I've seeded to cover TX fees while the 1EscrowTL address only receives funds when the Lender approves a loan, or the generated Wallet Address for repayments, so there is very low amounts of funds at any one time (unlike if the lender was having the loans repaid into their pot of gold) The referenced link above I explain the 1M3un5bqu and 1EscrowTL Wallet Addresses are in the same Wallet, so if either were hacked there's a 50% chance of obtaining 2/3 wallet addresses. Naturally the original staked Wallet Address is in another location and so I can issue a cancel on the three newly staked Wallet Addresses - They were only staked to prove I have them in my control.

You should learn how to sign a message first before posting a multisig address without knowing this: its impossible to sign a message with an address starting with a 3 in a realiable way.

you can't do signature address with your address, so how you can proof it? better to using mycellium, or maybe paper wallet is more easy to proof it.

He can still prove that he holds the address by broadcasting a transaction but yes I agree that he should stake an address where he can sign from. Just brainstorming here people... There's a few one way transactions to 1QGmTX1vNoPRWzGrDaBk9riXi6K6LdvjJsUsername: subham1 Loan Amount: 0.05btc Reason of loan: Trading Collateral: Sr.Member account Amount to be returned: 0.051 btc Return Date: 22-08-2016 Bitcoin address: 1QGmTX1vNoPRWzGrDaBk9riXi6K6LdvjJs
So perhaps, next time (if you don't mind) sending an additional 0.0000nnnn (either to yourself, or this Wallet Address) which would be from a random list that'd be PM'ed to you similar to this: 6363 7937 5062 3555 7416 7017 1319 8259 4835 1813 That way only you and I would know for certain that you had the list. Then for later on: I could make it 100 random four digit numbers which you save as a text file, then later on if there's an issue I ask you for the eg 39th number from the list... I'd draw the random number via https://www.random.org/ (you wouldn't have to add it to a transaction, just be able to say what it is...) Just a suggestion people...
