No offense I realize that your busy and all but could you work on the Mining portal a bit more? Seems a "bit" lacking compared to other pools.

Thanks for the feedback.

The new worker features will come with some small improvements to the mining portal, but I agree that we have a ways to go.

I think our next improvement to the interface will be adding a graph of performance (# of shares earned, by hour) over time. What features would you like to see?

I expect features related to payouts (how much you've been paid so far, managing payout address changes, auto-payout settings) to be done by the end of the October.  We had it half-written, and are now migrating our code to version 0.7 of bitcoind, which broke some of the old code, and has pushed back our timeline a bit.

Please dont forget the json interface for multiple workers, some of use the json instead of a website.

also as a side note, would be helpful to know when a worker finds a block.  I keep track of block finds for all my workers.

The worker update includes both JSON and web interface support for worker functionality.

Our devs are fully booked for the rest of this week, but I'll try to get who-found-which-block functionality in next week.

Any plans to offer mining via port 80? My workstation at work is crunching for me but our firewall blocks pretty much everything except port 80 and 443... this is why I currently use bitminter.

You can now mine using port 80.  Smiley Sign up for the protected pool here:

Sorry, it looks like we didn't create your account properly.  Sent you a new password.

Password changes must be performed from the admin console.  If anyone else needs a password change, contact me, and I'll generate a new password and email it to you.

Worker Update is live!

You can now create workers on-the-fly by adding an underscore and a workername to the end of your username in your miner.

Ex.
user:
protected_chris  is the default worker

if you mine with:
protected_chris_worker1, stats will be measured and reported separately from the default worker, making it easier to keep track of the performance of multiple machines, etc.  This update applies to both the web interface and the API stats.

Caution: we currently don't have a way to delete workers, so if you mine on a worker and no longer want it, you'll have to wait for us to manually roll one worker into another.

Just a small complaint, the fonts previously used on the website were much much stylish than the new ones.

Are you planning on adding merged mining with nmc?

There is no place like 127.0.0.1

+1

getting an extra 0.5% or so for free would be a bonus incentive to hash for your pool

I doubt it, from what I understand, we are only mining bitcoins on this pool temporarily. Once they get things setup fully we will be doing other work with our GPUs and being paid in bitcoins. The amount of work to setup merged mining I don't think would be worth their time.

The main site has very poor information. For example, where you can see your "Bonus" points?

bonus points, 'loyalty points' are equal to 'Total Shares'

These guys are working hard on a back end that will provide a valuable service long after gpu mining becomes un-profitable.

Do you think we can keep the 'I dont like the font' and 'The website is not as good as other pools' to a minimum please?

Please, mind your own business. I do not see a problem with members giving some feedback.
